I came into the store to buy Soccer cleats. Anytime that I asked the sales associate named LaToya to get a pair of cleats for me, she went to help other customers and constantly referred me to «DJ». Although busy, he offered an apology and was very attentive and helpful. LaToya doesn’t need to work with customers. She needs to be assigned to stock.

This is for the golf section. I was able to get a new grip for my putter, installed, in about 20 minutes total. Easy as pie. The prices on the sales didn’t look all that special(but there were some sales on balls), but it is a great place to go and try out gear in person. Ordering golf clubs off the internet is hit or miss, at this place you can actually try them out. I’m a fan.

Two stars… because Dick’s can be a useful place, if you know what they’re good for. I’ll tell you: This Dick’s location is great for deals on athletic apparel. You can get Under Armour and other brands at a nice price point as they usually are having a sale on something. This location is also good for trying on new running shoes before you order them on Amazon for $ 40 less. The employees won’t pressure you to buy. You might have to wait a little to get someone’s attention, and they might not have a color you like, but hey, they will on Amazon. In general, the employees seem to know much less than a shoe shopper about the different shoes and what they do, what colorways they come in, etc. Don’t ask questions — get in and get out unruffled.

I dont really shop at sporting goods stores that frequently, so i dont know how dick’s compares to others, BUT, i was REALLY impressed with the customer service and sale i got on a kayak. I called in looking for a specific kayak my boyfriend matt v. saw listed on the dick’s website. it was on clearance. I had previously called two other dick’s locations looking for this kayak and it was sold out due to the sale. when i called in i spoke with Cody — who was extremely knowledgeable and informative. at first he said they didnt have any left — but he actually put me on hold and went into the back — pulled the kayak out for me — kept it on hold — and when i got there he walked me to the cashier carrying the heavy kayak, and then he tied it on the car for me and walked me through step by step on how to use the car kit — taking the time to show me how to do it myself. i was SOIMPRESSED with his great attitude, his helpfulness, his knowledge and his general expertise. he also helped me pick out a paddle and showed me the most affordable option for a beginner. if i need something like this again — i would def go back to cody. i cant really comment on the other aspects of the store — BUT this was truly a 5 star experience for me. My boyfriend and I were here recently and he needed a pair of size 9 sneakers. Every pair he asked for, they didn’t have in his size. The pair he liked most was on the main display as you first approach the sneaker area but when my boyfriend asked the employee why they didn’t have a size 9, the employee told him that it was an old shoe and that he should pick a newer one that hasn’t been out so long. I am no marketing expert but have worked in retail and know that you usually put your newest merchandise up front and on the main displays. After trying on about 7 pairs of 8.5 and 9.5 and none fitting because he needed a 9, we left. Size 9 is a common size and to be out of it in just about every sneaker seems ridiculous. He needed a closed toe shoe so that we could go ziplining since the airport had not delivered his luggage on time so we ended up purchasing a cheap closed toe shoe at Target in the same shopping center.

Fair selection in store but they didn’t have the size cleats I needed however they were only able to search within there near location(nj, philly, burbs) so since none of the other stores near by had those cheats in my size, I am still without cleats. Also there point program is a joke because you need to spend 300 $ within a year just to get anything in return… and if you spend 299 $, your points expire at the end of the year… ugh. no thanks. Bunch of male staff standing around softball bats where I was trying to look, just continued to stand there and chat, oblivious that they were not only not helping me find what I need, but also impeding my progress. Whatever… there are plenty of other sporting good stores around.

I spent over 3500 on a leverage gym and elliptical. When i they were delivered, the gym was missing pieces and the elliptical was broken. Tried to have the store manager help me but was treated like a dog by him. Wound up calling corporate offices to help me and am still living with a broken elliptical and broken gym. Waiting on answers. Go elsewhere!!!
