This place was really good. I have been looking for healthy places to eat and this may be my go to place from now on. If you have ever ordered food at Wawa, the ordering is fast and easy. You can also pull up info about the ingredients on the menu screen. The staff was very helpful and the food came out relatively quickly. In addition to their smoothies, their various tea flavored drinks are incredible. I think these guys will be very successful as they continue to grow.

My toddler son and I stopped here out of hangry desperation, because we were too many minutes from home and both going crazy. We tried this place. I liked the healthy, tasty food but not the atmosphere. It was weird. The minimalist vibe doesn’t work in fast food. At least not in my opinion. No menus are posted anywhere in the store. No descriptions of sandwiches or salads. You have to fly blind and just punch in your order at the kiosk, without really knowing what a «Cabo» Wrap is. I didn’t like that aspect. THey did have kids menu which I appreciate. But even with the decent food, the lack of décor and standoffish attitude from the staff made the place feel cold, sparse and unwelcoming… and the prices are slightly higher than, say, chipotle. I probably won’t take my family there again.

I waited 11 minutes between order and pick up of a basic smoothie from their menu. The smoothie was great, but I don’t think I would suggest trying to make a quick stop at this«fast food» place. They seemed overwhelmed with no more ¼ of the tables full.

Fresh ingredients, tasty dinners and never a long wait. The place is clean and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy your meal.

One word: overpriced. Their food is definitely worth the hype. I have been here at least three times, each time my food came out cold. There are good healthy eating options in the area, and this isn’t one of them.

I have to say I am very disappointed. I used to frequent a Bryn & Danes in Horsham quite often. Life has taken me in a different direction and I don’t get there very often anymore. I took my daughter there for chicken strips tonight(which she used to LOVE). The kids meal used to come with sides(like popcorn). Now for $ 4.99 you get 3 little strips and a lollipop. That’s it! I wish I’d taken a picture to show how little it was. They put it in this giant paper bag for my togo order and it was a bit silly. I understand that the business is growing and I think that’s wonderful because it is an amazing concept, but for the price & portion size I won’t be back.

Beautiful, trendy place but food not good. Our wrapped sandwiches were supposed to have crispy chicken, which should have been at the least room temperature. It was refrigerator-cold yet dry and no flavor. My side salad was literally lettuce with dressing, no other veggies. The best things were our iced teas and sweet potato fries.

The décor and the tech approach were pretty cool at B+D, but we went there, you know, for the food. We had the following: Chili Tennessee wrap B+D Salad with fruit and chicken Sweet potatoes fries Root beer Strawberry rhubarb drink-thingee Best parts: fries and root beer. Everything else really lacked flavor. All they needed to do was season the chicken and the chili. I get that these are healthy options, but that doesn’t mean they have to suck.(Sorry). Side notes; — Whatever the Strawberry rhubarb thing was, it wasn’t good. I consider myself very adventurous, when it comes to food and drink. This wasn’t working. — Staff did not even say«hello» when they dropped off the food. — The seating arrangement is really odd. It faces the counter, but is not at the counter. — Décor is sterile

I’ve been wanting to go to Bryn and Dane’s for a couple of years. A fellow Elizabethown College grad started it. They have healthier food. And an old colleague of mine told me she thought I’d like it. And I so wish I could give them a better rating. I debated between 2 and 3 stars. But it wasn’t A-OK from a taste perspective so I went with two. Stopping here was an unexpected surprise for the day. I had tagged along with my husband for a quick business trip down to Flourtown and was so excited to see that Bryn and Dane’s was along the way. We stopped on our way back for breakfast and I was super-psyched. We walked in(the left side) of the building and it was a bit disorienting. We came in near a door by the kitchen and I thought we came in an entrance we shouldn’t have. So we walked toward the counter and saw no menu boards and nobody pointed out that the kiosks to order were around the other side though clearly we were unsure where to go.(There were three young women standing there.) It was a bit bizarre at first yet there’s something to be said for the minimalistic design of the place. I definitely dug the décor and seating options. Once we found the kiosks, we ordered. I got the chicken sausage, egg(whites only for $ 1 upcharge) and cheddar wrap. And my husband got the Canadian bacon wrap. I thought the prices of $ 5.99 and $ 4.99 were fair. We both also got hot sauce. One thing that is a little odd when you place your order is that they have you type in a number from these little plastic placards that are stacked by the kiosk. But yet when an employee came out with a drink she didn’t reference the number on that but the order number. So for example we had placard number 77 but our order was 600. She asked us if we were order number 604 which was a lady next to us. So not quite sure that their system works right. A nice surprise(that I remember hearing about but had forgotten until proposed to us) was that they offer complimentary mimosas on Sundays. I was very excited to get one. I’m not exactly sure how they made it… it was just OK. Though definitely a big glass! I give them bonus points for doing something special on a Sunday. When we unwrapped our wraps… pun intended… We found them to be greasy which was surprising considering these are supposed to be healthier options. I was also surprised to see the hot sauce on the side but found that I liked it that way so I could get on as much as I wanted by dipping into the little container. The sandwiches were very hot. Steaming hot. My husband thought maybe they were microwaved… But yet they seemed fresh. So I’m not really sure how they heat/prepare their food. My husband’s Canadian bacon had that hard edge around it(I think that’s a personal preference thing). And one he doesn’t like. But the part that was most disappointing was the lack of flavor. I think a little bit of salt and/or pepper would definitely have made a difference in the taste. It all just tasted flat. No distinction of flavors despite the variety of ingredients. There were no salt or pepper shakers on the table and I just didn’t feel like bothering. So I just dipped it in more hot sauce. All in all I wish it packed more punch flavor-wise. So sadly my much-anticipated visit to Bryn and Dane’s fell short of my expectations. My husband said he definitely would not go back. I would possibly be willing to try the lunch just to be fair. But since it’s about an hour’s drive away not sure when that will happen… I’m certainly in no rush for a return visit.

I’ve been to this location several times, now. The staff are always friendly, ordering is hassle-free. The space is always clean and welcoming. I’ve brought my young daughter a few times with me, and I love that they make it a point to get children their food quickly(prior to adult meals) to avoid potential meltdowns. Loved that! Food is good, fries are a bit on the raw/soggy side. But, good none the less. Only complaint is the wait time if you’re just going in for a smoothie. Every time I go(pretty often) it’s always a 10 – 12 minute wait. Can’t really complain, as the staff are always moving and attentive!

Stunning space! Open, airy, clean and bright! All better on a sunny day. I loved coming here for lunch when I worked in the area. If you’re looking for some healthy food options that you can quickly grab, this is the place to go. You’ll order via a kiosk and pay through the machine– no human being ever handles your money which is kinda cool. Food is good but nothing that rocked my world. Definitely overpriced here — to spend $ 15 on a wrap, side, and drink is a bit excessive — especially for a «fast food» place. Smoothies are healthy and consistently taste the same, but again, nothing that wonderful. Skip the salads — you don’t get much for your money. Get a wrap(they’re all good, esp Santa Barbara BLT and Tennessee Bleu), don’t bother with the super overpriced hard boiled egg or edamame, don’t go for the meal option — buy it all separately. Try the sweet potato fries. Get one of the refreshing teas — they are light, taste good, and are great for when you want something healthy but need a little pick-me-up.

Really cold and sterile environment. Minimal human contact during experience makes it really weird. The food is barely edible. Salad with black bean veggie burger. Burger uncooked and cold/mushy just cut up and dropped in bowl with slightly brown lettuce and raw beets. For the amount of effort that obviously didn’t go into the food it seems they really don’t need staff at all or the food should be a lot better. I would dearly love a casual eatery that is good, so far Zoe’s seems to be the only contender. Light wood and no décor doesn’t make a good healthy dining experience.

If I could give 3.5, I would feel a little bit better, but alas Unilocal prefers whole numbers so I’ll err on the side of positivity because it’s really splitting hairs. I’ve been wanting to check out this place for a while. I eat relatively healthy, at least at home. I’m into whole, clean foods. I don’t eat too much highly processed foods, so I thought this place would fit the bill. It almost fill t, he whole bill, but missed on a few keys points. Pros — Clean, friendly staff, plenty of seating, quick service, plenty of options(even a kids menu). Cons — seating not so comfortable, price is high, low fat/fat free options(i prefer whole fat foods), can only order on kiosk and see options one at a time versus there being paper menus or a board to read — you feel rushed to order) I’m not so hung up on the price, I did a make your own wrap(extra for avocado), sweet potato fries, and a half tea/lemonade ~$ 15. I don’t mind paying more for higher quality, local food. But paying an extra $ 4 for fries an a drink seems a bit much. And the fries seemed under done, though good flavor. Skip the ketchup. I loved my wrap. I created it, chicken, avocado, onion, salsa, and black beans with a side of chipotle ranch. Some reviews claim wraps are dry, but if you don’t add a condiment, it will be. Mine was flavorful and had zero dryness. Bottom line for me, I eat clean and whole at home. I eat out to indulge a bit a couple times a week. On the off chance I want to eat healthy and outside the home I’ll check them out again. But I wish they didn’t label low or non fat as healthy. Full fat is the way to go. Also the low-carb thing just needs to go. Give me whole grain, minimal process grains instead.

We went for breakfast this morning and loved it! It’s so not your typically restaurant fare. Everything we got was so fresh and delicious(and nutritious)! My husband loved his oatmeal with cinnamon & bananas. He also got a yummy egg wrap. I had the banana wrap with Oates and agave and PB. I MIGHT be addicted to that now. Very filling and saved half for late morning snack. I’ve had the smoothies before and they are superb! Wonderful place. Check it out!

Second time ordering at this Plymouth meeting location and still not sold. First, don’t try to order by phone. The menu online is just basic and doesn’t list as many options(i.e. Salad toppings) as when you order at the wawa-like terminals in the restaurant. The young girl on the phone offered no assistance so I actually bagged the phone order and drove to the store. It’s pricey for the quantity and quality. Teriyaki chicken strips with edamame was very good. The Cabo taco wrap was very dry and not very tasty. The sweet potato fries weren’t cooked enough. The salad was fine but the avocado for which I paid extra was virtually nonexistent. The organic tea was fine. Seems as if the evening shift had some more adult supervision the quality might be better as well as the customer service. All in all I expected better all around — especially for the price one pays. Not a very good value at all. Will the 3rd time be the charm?

This place is right around the corner from where I work which makes coming here very convenient for me. I have tried a number of their items and they are all pretty tasty but expensive. The smoothies are great but the online menu says they come in two sizes: however, this location only offers only 1 size. I do have concerns that I am paying for a large smoothie but getting a regular-sized smoothie. The ice coffee is great to and is prepped very nicely. I do wish they show what House coffee they use that day since I noticed that it seems to change daily. Despite the high prices, I will be coming here regularly since it is so close to my work. I hope they work some of the kinks out from their recent launch and integrate the full menu from the main location.

I have to say I was super super excited for B&D to open nearby and offer some healthy, protein-rich, quick-fix meals in a very convenient location to my gym, work, and home. This area needed something that offered clean-eating paleo-style options outside of the Whole Foods up the street. I wish I could say I was more impressed so far, and am hopeful they are just working out the kinks. I really want this to be my go-to spot, but they’re going to need to up their game if that’s the case… PROS: Smoothies are delicious and fairly priced for what I think your average smoothie/juice place would charge. Friendly staff and really engaged with the local community(they are really willing to collaborate with local businesses which I think is great). I am a fan of their gluten free breaded chicken fingers as a snack, and I love that they just expanded their menu to breakfast and have a ton of options from acai bowls to wraps to hard boiled eggs and fruit! CONS: A 16 oz coffee for 2.99?(and I only got a 12 oz. pour and was told the machine wasn’t calibrated to do 16 oz. yet so they couldn’t top it off…) And ONLY16 oz sizes??? A girl needs her java in the morning! — One time I got a chicken wrap, got all the way home, and they had forgotten the chicken — I recognize that with freshness comes price, but 8.99 for a breakfast wrap and 12 oz coffee didn’t cut it for me this morning. I wonder if there will be a way to lower costs or offer customer incentives to ease this?(Punch cards or loyalty cards, etc.) — The wraps are on the smaller side and while I don’t need much to fill me up, I can imagine somebody with a bigger appetite would be left hungry. B&D — I am all for your growth and progress as we need a place like you in the community — hopefully we will see things fall into place soon!

Ordered the cabo taco wrap. Swapped chicken for the black bean burger. Very tasty. Really great flavors. Will definitely be going back! Wish they would post Nutritional facts about the food though. They say it is healthy fast food but I would like to see the nutrition info.

B+D’s! So happy to have another fast, quality, healthy option in the area. This place joins the ranks of Green Soul in Chestnut Hill and of course Whole Foods’s grab-n-go options in Plymouth Meeting. I looked at the menu before our visit for take-out dinner and was glad to see some different offerings than what you’d might expect. The sweet potato fries and golden strips are very welcome on a healthy fast food menu. Adding a visible menu for those waiting to order via touchscreen may be helpful in speeding up the ordering process for the customer. Or perhaps an overview of the entire menu could display before the customer goes through the actual ordering process. We knew what we wanted, so we didn’t have any trouble. I ordered the golden strips with honey mustard, sweet potato fries, and a kale lemonade. The fiancé ordered a Tennessee Bleu wrap, sweet potato fries, and a basil lime(?) soda. The ability to make your order a meal is a great idea that’s very digestible for the average fast food patron. Takeout service was fast! I found my selections to be very flavorful. The honey mustard was delicious, for all four golden strips of chicken(the fourth one went to the fiancé — that’s a lot of food). My kale lemonade was delish, and yes, the kale is fairly pronounced. In terms of a kale-to-lemonade ratio, it’s nearly 1:1 if I had to guess! The sweet potato fries could have been more crisp, but I do know that’s harder to achieve with sweet potato than it is regular potato. I’m just happy to see something like these on the menu. It’s safe to say B+D’s has been added to our«Not Cooking Tonight» rotation. They’ve added breakfast as of this morning and I am SO pumped to go get some, ASAP. Keep up the good work!

Ohhh healthy fast food, where do I begin? I was in town for a wedding and my friend(who is a nutritionist) and I were looking for a place to go to lunch. Bryn and Dane’s is an obvious choice, given that they market themselves as healthy fast food(which, don’t get me wrong, is an amazing concept!) So we head on over and the space is gorgeous! Really, really cool and open and bright. It really just screams ORGANIC. Kind of trippy seeing something like this in Plymouth Meeting, PA… I would much sooner expect to see it in, like, DC. So we go to order, which is done on one of 3 computers(kind of like Wawa). We wanted breakfast but evidently(at least so far) breakfast is only available at the Horsham location(this location opened up less than a month ago). So I order the Santa Barbara BLT wrap, which comes with crispy chicken, turkey bacon, tomatoes, romaine, monterey cheese and ranchero sauce. Then it asks if I want to make this a meal… I say sure, why not. As a side you can choose naked popcorn, white cheddar popcorn, sweet potato fries or a hard boiled egg. I go with the egg. Then you choose your drink. I went with a strawberry lemonade. My friend got some type of fizzy infused water and was basically obsessed with it, so maybe go that route(though the lemonade was good and had 2 whole strawberries in it!) This healthy fast food meal comes to $ 15. So I sit down and I’m thinking about it… because, you know, the wrap was $ 7.99. Well evidently when you say you want a meal what they really mean is that you want a side for $ 4. The drink is an additional $ 2.99. So it’s not really a meal, or a bargain, at all. That’s right — a single hard boiled egg would have cost me $ 4. I know it’s probably organic and cage free and super awesome natural delicious but COMEON. Do they know what a dozen eggs cost at the supermarket? So I ran over and switched my order to sweet potato fries. It was the only thing I could think of to have any kind of justice for my $ 4 purchase. The wrap was not terrible, but it was dry. I appreciated the healthy idea behind crispy chicken, which was using yellow cornmeal. I make that at home, too, and I appreciate it. Also the quality of cheddar cheese was noticeably better. It seemed like they grate their own rather than buying huge bags of pre-shredded. But it could have used maybe a thicker sauce, or maybe just more sauce. It was just so much tortilla and it made me so thirsty. The fries were pretty good, though they tasted like anger because I was still reeling from the $ 4 hard boiled egg. The popcorn seems like the best choice — it comes out in an adorable branded little Ziploc bag. Had I known that I probably would have missed out on the egg scenario entirely. If you don’t care about how much you spend and you’re really craving something healthy, then this is probably a fine choice. For what it’s worth, my super health conscious nutritionist friend loved it. If the thought of a $ 4 hard boiled egg makes you crazy, or if you want soda, or if you want to order with real people and not computers then you’re better off elsewhere. Or maybe come back in a few months after they’ve received some constructive criticism and made some changes accordingly. Maybe one day the hard boiled egg will even be affordable!
