Straightforward seafood supply with some deli items. We each had lump crab sandwiches, on choice of bread or roll. Cole slaw, fries. All freshly prepared, crisp and delicious. Pleasant and helpful folks! Folks came in and picked up two dozen clams and other orders while we were there. Looks like the prime local spot for the fresh catch of the day. We were satisfied!

Short but sweet. Absolutely the BEST crab legs, King or snow, that I have ever eaten anywhere… PERIOD. Make sure you order it with Old Bay and Garlic — it just doesn’t get any better. Also their melted butter is the creamiest. Mostly for take out — call ahead. Don’t let their humble surroundings dissuade, fool or keep you from the best crab legs you’ll ever have. Ruth N.

Misled and misdirected. A real disappointment. We went out of our way to stop here leaving Atlantic City. We were looking forward to the fried clam Bellies. When we entered the place — it smelled like old frying oil, old fish, and an old mop. We Asked about the clam bellies before we ordered. We Asked the woman behind the counter what she liked. She said she doesn’t eat seafood. We should have left… Then they tried to serve us Clam Strips… Yuck. Got in the car and we still smelled old frying oil for an hour…

My new family has had an annual crabfest for several years supplied by the Clam Shack and we’ve always been happy. When my now wife suggested we cater our beach wedding reception with them, I thought it was a great idea. The price was exceptionally reasonable for the amount of food we served, the staff was unbelievably efficient and invisible, and helped to make our wedding reception the talk of the town! I can’t recommend them enough, they were easy to work with, listened to our needs and responded perfectly. So many of our guests were amazed with the food, and I personally can’t say I’ve ever had shrimp and clams that tasted so good. Triple thumbs up!

5⁄5 stars for the taste of the crabs… all garlicy and delicious. My family and I purchase crabs from here every year! This past year they were a bit small and expensive, but worth that taste you can’t get on the west coast.

High quality seafood that’s very fresh, you’ll understand what I’m saying when you first walk in. The aroma is incredible and the food is splendid. If you want quality seafood just off the shore but don’t want to spend a ton, check the Clam Shack!

Me and a couple of friends were on our way out of Atlantic City when one of us remembered that we weren’t supposed to leave until we had some damn seafood in our stomachs(I’m going to take credit because my recall during moments of starvation is pretty on point). My friend Unilocaled the shit out of the area till we found this place. I had no idea where to park but I found a little nook right next to the Shack in what seemed like a private parking lot but honestly, it looked more like organized chaos with cars, abandoned boats, and trucks sprawled everywhere. When we walked in, the first thing I noticed was how quaint the place was. In fact, there was only one small table with two stools in the establishment. However, we were not undeterred. We came to eat some shellfish dammit and we weren’t leaving till we achieved our goal. I ordered some King Crab Legs doused in garlic broth. Outstanding. The legs were huge and the meat inside was succulent. I’m currently salivating at the thought of them. My friends ordered shrimp(saturated in garlic broth), Snow Crab legs, onion rings, full belly clams, and fries. Since I had the pleasure of grubbing off of them for a bit(who am I kidding? I had a lot more than a bit), I loved consuming all except the onion rings. This is definitely a place that I will look to go back to at some point… mainly for the seafood. It’s a nice place to have a farewell meal when you are leaving the debauchery that is Atlantic City.

hmmm. no one has reviewed it as yet? well, we went here a few months ago and it is The place to go… great location and great clams of course. We got a dozen little neck clams with garlic broth and soft shell crab sandwich. The clams were really fresh and good! It was my first time eating soft shell crab so I was hesitant but it was awesome! We loved the food and siting by the docks… it was very nice. They have a full bar also and a huge indoors… If you are in the neighborhood or going or coming from Sandy Hook. stop by.you won’t regret it :)
