can you really consider this a park? i have lived in pleasanton all of my life and now they call this patch of green off main street a park? sounds good to me! let’s put a park surrounding busy streets and get kids to come and play so they can chase a ball or each other into traffic. there are better choices in pleasanton when it comes to a park. go with the ultimate and take the family to the pleasanton sports park.

I have to agree with Allisson on this one, location is key with this sweet little park. Literally a block off Main Street and with a playground with swings, slides, plenty for kids to climb on and a patch of grass for them to run around. This park is ideal if your children need a break from walking downtown or to use up some of their boundless energy. Sandwiched between Rose and Division streets, its small but includes benches for grownups to take a load off and watch their kids. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area of downtown with your children and need to take a breather.

This is one of my favorite parks in Pleasanton — not because of the size(only 0.5 acres) but because of the location. From here you can walk to get a cup of coffee or to lunch or if it’s just too hot for the kids, you can walk to the library to cool off while you browse through the books. The play structure is near the road, but it’s fenced in — such smart builders we have in Pleasanton! Somewhat shaded too — which is a definite plus in the tri-valley area! Perfect for toddlers to any age — no swings though — so if your baby loves to swing — you’ll need another park.
