Came here for lunch, I work right down the street. They had a long line but they moved it right along. They listened well and they were very generous with all of their toppings. I go to subway often and this one was a nice visit.

Go to the one on Bernal Ave. Been here once, and never again will I be back. Place is very small. Worker didn’t bother asking what sauces I want before wrapping up my sandwich. Didn’t even bother labeling which is which.

Got there around 7p last night. Ordered two sandwiches which were both made perfectly. Lady behind counter did great job! First time there, will go again.

Poor customer service This is a convenient location and that is the main reason I do stop by occasionally. However, it seems like that they don’t even want to do that job. Just like every time I go there they are in a bad mood or something. Sandwich is ok but I believe priced higher that other locations. Foot long sub(kid’s choice) with only turkey breasts and three types of veggies, almost $ 8.

Overcharged by a whole sandwich. Food was dry. Couldn’t understand the gentleman behind the counter and he tricked my kids into double meat when they asked for two kinds of meat. Should have checked Unilocal first. Place is not clean. Workers not friendly and they overcharge. Total bummer.

I came here twice and I got to say, this is the worst sandwich shop ever. My first visit was during lunch and they didn’t have anything I liked so I left to go somewhere else. On my second visit, one worker forgot to put on his gloves so I had him make a new sandwich but he kept telling me it was okay and me and the rest of the customers behind me told him off and we all left to go eat somewhere else. This place is just as bad as the red robins.

Bad attitude, had zero interest in our order. Didn’t listen to my order even though I clearly stated what I wanted. Didn’t assemble the sandwiches the way every other subway always has, and screwed up my sandwich twice and my girlfriends once. We won’t be back to this location.

They workers are extremely rude. I left before I even ordered a sandwich and gave Quiznos my business down the street.

I am not one to offer reviews but I think this one is necessary since there are plenty of Subway alternatives in the area. Do not choose this store. Besides being not so friendly, they are really cheap with the meat and even toppings! With entertaining a couple of kids for a few days, we hit Subway three days in a row. The third day was this store before going to a local beach and what a disappointment. They shorted each sandwich with meat and then I had to ask to add a bit more of toppings when it is usually not necessary in any other store I’ve been in. This is not a knock on the Subway chain, but it is a knock on this particular store. Do yourself a favor and go to another one nearby.

It’s healthy affordable fast food. Walk-able distance from my office. What’s not to like? Beware, the owner is very talkative. :)

RUDEST service I have ever encountered. Woman behind the counter did not say one word to me. I decided I would just lay out my order all at once(simple: turkey on wheat bread, with everything except pickles and olives). She proceeds to throw things onto my sandwich, and starts to throw a HUGE fistful of olives on, and I point out that I mentioned no olives. I, in response, get the most hateful look you could imagine, and she THROWS the olives down. This whole transaction, I get no words and hateful looks. Apparently this was ok, because the other two girls working there seemed to agree with her hateful attitude. What did I do to deserve that? I asked for her name and their manager’s number, and I get a sheet with chicken scratch on it. I don’t think I will ever buy Subway again. Their customer service failed me, and their corporate customer service failed to even return my call or email. This is certainly the farthest from professional I have seen a corporation run. How do they hire these people?

As a rule of thumb, I generally do not review chain restaurants because of their corporation affiliations as well as the formulaic food tastes and choices. However, on this particular occasion, I shall do so strictly as a public health announcement. I visited this Subway three times for it’s proximity to the work place. I found it convenient that it was both close by and not very busy. The latter should have been a hint and a half. The first odd thing I noticed was the lack of a public restroom. It’s true that not every Subway has one available, but I asked to use the restroom since I was eating there instead of taking it to go. They very kindly opened the door to the«employees only» area and pointed me to their restroom that’s integrated with the storage area. The bathroom actually appeared quite clean and tidy. As I turned on the faucet to wet my hands, I reached to press the wall-mounted soap dispenser. No soap dispensed. Okay, so you know how you can press the button fast and quick to get the few last milligrams of soap out of a recently emptied dispenser? NOT even close. The little contraption had been dry for quite some time, upon further inspection. I dried my hands and then looked at two more sink areas in the kitchen and storage areas. Not even a dispenser to be found. Oh, well. Can’t always be too safe. I sat down to eat my sandwich and saw another customer enter. As he was about to order, I saw the sandwich maker go to 4th sink behind the counter to wash his hands. HEDIDN’T EVENATTEMPTTOUSETHESOAPDISPENSER(which was as empty as the one in the bathroom). Just a three second rinse and he was on his way to handle food. Fine. They use disposable plastic gloves when assembling sandwiches for customers. But, keep in mind that he has to use those same, non-disinfected hands to actually put on the gloves in the first place. The same hands that a) take out the garbage b) handle money and c) wipe the hindquarters after a bowel movement. As I exited, I made sure to get the worker’s attention and let him know that the liquid soap in the bathroom was out of soap. I got a blank stare and a «yes» nod, but I could tell that he was quite aware of the situation. I’m sure the health department will be apprised of this issue in due time, but the best way they can remedy this situation is by a) re-training the entire staff or b) shutting the place DOWN.

It’s subway. Not too hard to get your order right. Food was fine, but seriously — every time I’ve been in here it’s disgusting. The tables are always filthy and I always end up wiping them down myself. Really — if you see someone cleaning YOUR restaurant, take a hint and get out a towel. Gross. I’ll not be back — which is unfortunate because I really like Subway, and this was a good option for work days when I forget my lunch.

I’ve heard really disgusting things about this Subway as far as how they handle their food goes, My brother In Law came here after work, ate one of their sandwiches with turkey meat and got food poisoning here and subsequently became very sick and never came back, I remember. It was actually funny when he first mentioned he got food poisoning at this particular subway and that he would never return their after work. But food poisoning isn’t something to take lightly and might be a wakeup call for those subways handling food in an unhygienic manner. Hope your listening subway.

Friendly workers… BUT their sandwiches suck. I absolutely love Subway, but this location is a no no. I always get the bread and cheese toasted but it seems as if it was microwaved instead — super soggy. The sandwiches are prepared very sloppy.

It’s Subway. Either you like it or you don’t. I generally do, actually, but just wasn’t feelin’ it as much today. I got the tuna salad sandwich for the first time and thought it was just OK. I think Subway does good with the veggies, but not if you’re a meat person. The Veggie Delite is actually a delight! And the veggie patty sandwich ain’t bad. As with most Subways, the employees seemed to rush you and still put mayo on the sandwich after I just said«no mayo, no mustard» and then asked if I wanted mustard. But no big complaints. They’ll get the job done, even if it’s not quite perfect.

Not the best location for a Subway. Nor the happiest people working there. Probably, not going back.
