I liked the rosemary roasted potatoes better than the chicken: D

We have lived in PTown for over 8 years now and we had never tried the Roti Truck before because tof the long line. Somehow, we ended up at the Farmer’s Market almost at the time of closing, and it seemed doable. We still had to wait for a good 15 minutes though. I have to say it was well worth it. Their chicken is everything it seems to be. We got a whole bird and the potatoes with that sprinkle of sea salt. Divine! The chicken is succulent and flavorful. We only wished it had a little more salt and flavor in the breast meat, but I can understand most people might prefer to have it like that.
Our strategy is to go grab one when it’s close to 1:00 pm. The line is usually shorter at that time.

This is gourmet food served fresh right out of a food truck. Roli Roti is a company who prides itself with serving quality food grown locally, with garlic from Gilroy, lettuce from Bolinas, and chickens from the Central Valley. They also serve local seasonal veggies, and currently they have brussel sprouts on the menu. They have several locations they stop at all around the Bay Area and some trucks serve more items than others.
My family just recently moved to Pleasanton and for the past three weekends we would go to the farmers market and see a line that wraps around the corner for Roli Roti. This weekend we decided to see what the big deal was all about. The menu is a la carte and is limited to rotisserie chicken, rosemary fingerling potatoes, and Brussels sprouts (unfortunately the guy before me bought the last of them so I didn’t get to try any), maybe next time.
The food was great! It was served right off the fire and packed as ordered. You can taste the freshness in the chicken, potatoes and seasonings. The hint of rosemary really compliments the food! The fact that there’s no soy, no egg, no dairy, no flour, no nuts and gluten free really made our day, for my son and I have food allergies and sensitivity to the top 5 food allergens.
Overall, Roli Roti will have our loyalty. We enjoyed the great food and appreciate it’s sustainable way of serving quality food. Everything was well worth the 10 minute wait.
