What a wonderful space. Clean, modern, bright and just right. Plenty of parking. Classrooms and intimate space to just chat. Many, many interesting classes from Fit for 50, yoga, Zumba. Cycling clubs, walking clubs. Creative writing classes and computer one on one training –in(1) hour increments, Tai-Chi, line dancing instruction and dance(s). There is a fully functioning wood shop with friendly instructors to teach amazing wood working skills. Some people make bookcases, some make bowls and some make beautiful realistic birds. It’s whatever your imagination can dream up. Oh and many of these classes and opportunities are priced around $ 2.50 -$ 3.00 per class, per resident of Pleasanton. This is also your hub for finding out about Para-transit, meals on wheels and visiting help for the elderly. And, there is TERRIFIC lunch program Monday — Friday. The food is varied and truly delicious. AND at a nominal fee of like $ 3(?) I think. If your 50 or older this is a terrific place to get to know and use. Make a call and have them send you the newsletter. You’ll have the class schedule and meals for the month. Phone numbers for all the services offered. Oh, did I mention they have a movie every week? Find a sweetie, grab her hand and get a little popcorn and have a terrific time! This place is class all the way. So many options. Really affordable and a great place to volunteer as well.

Nice place. Visited this weekend with my teen son(we were attending a teen summer job fair.) I was impressed by the quality of the facility and loved the seniors helping with the event. I hope I am blessed and can enjoy my senior years… and have an awesome place to go hang out like the Pleasanton Senior Center. 4.5 stars.
