Tehra is an excellent hair stylist. My daughter is 11 years old and we colored her hair with a highlighting box from rite aid. Well her hair looked awful. It was a horrible blonde. She was so upset. I called Heavenly Day Spa and Tehra was so sweet she said she would fit my daughter right in. I did not think it was possible to fix her hair. Tehra assured me very confidently she could fix it. She was so sweet, patient, and an excellent with color. My daughter hair looked perfect when she was done with her. It was a beautiful natural golden brown. I am so pleased with her results. I am so excited I have found my new stylist:) I would highly recommend her!

Let me preface this review by saying, I did not receive a service, this review is strictly how I was treated and the spa’s professionalism, or lack thereof. This past spring, my friend and I booked a spa weekend in Pleasanton for my birthday. We chose Heavenly Day Spa because it had good reviews on Unilocal and it is open on Sundays. I had to call 3 times to book the appointment because the receptionist kept telling me she’d call me back and then didn’t. They didn’t have two facialists on staff the day we wanted to get facials and they called someone in, which I appreciated very much because it was my birthday weekend. I finally booked our appointments for Sunday afternoon. We were so excited, we get facials regularly but there’s something about the whole hotel/spa weekend thing we really like. Anyway, we got into town on Saturday, checked into our hotel and went to do some wine tasting, shopping and stuff. On Sunday we got up early had breakfast and then had to wait a couple of hours between check out and the spa appointments so we had lunch and sat at Whole Foods until it was time for our appointments. We get to Heavenly and there’s no one there. It looks like a little house so we sat on the front porch… for 50 minutes. I was calling and calling and calling… I checked the website and yes they are open on Sundays so I didn’t get the day wrong. We finally give up and go home and are so pissed that they dissed us! When I get home I realize that they charged my credit card for both appointments! The next day before I could call them about the charge, they called me to tell me they got my many messages and that I had booked an appointment for Saturday, not Sunday. My head was about to explode. Not only did I KNOW I made the appointment for Sunday, but I confirmed it on the phone with the receptionist. As I said, I chose them specifically because they were open on Sunday. Why would I, knowing my plans for the weekend, make an appointment on a day I knew I couldn’t make it? And give them my credit card number on top of that!!! Makes zero sense. I spoke with the manager tried to explain that there must have been a misunderstanding on their part, because I knew I wouldn’t be available on Saturday. The manager was very argumentative and raised her voice and spoke over me. I was so upset, I mean I understand if it was a mistake, but why would they charge me. She said she’d tried to call me but had the wrong number. Well that’s convenient that they didn’t take my phone number down correctly, but got the credit card correct, especially since she read both numbers back to me on the phone and I confirmed them. The manager said she’d see what she could do and call me back. Again, 3 days go by and she hasn’t called me so I called back and got the receptionist with whom I made the appointments. I tried to explain myself and again, I received the same type of response – argumentative, talking over me all loud and not listening to what I was saying. So incredibly rude – no customer service skills whatsoever. She said the manager would call me back and again, no call back. I called back AGAIN and spoke to the manager who said the only thing she could do was to refund me, but not my friend because,(get this) when we were sitting on their little porch and I was calling and calling and leaving message after message, I didn’t mention my friend was with me. OMG are you serious??? Thankfully my credit card company reversed that charge. Heavenly Day Spa, you should have more respect for the people you serve after all your business is due to us. Well… them because I will never darken your porch again.

In preparation for a trip to Caribbean I needed a bikini wax. This is usually a very painful process. I made an appt with Christy. I had the first wax that didn’t hurt! I was extremely please with the perfect wax line & no pain!!! The price was excellent for the work done. I will definitely return to Christy again!

I’ve been going to Heavenly for about a year, and I absolutely love it. The quaint appearance, peaceful atmosphere, and friendly staff make it a wonderful retreat. Victoria is an amazing therapist and person, and I always feel so rejuvenated by the time I leave her sessions. Take some time out for yourself and make an appointment!

Myself and 2 friends get together and do a spa day several times a year. Our preferred place was booked up, so we thought we’d give HDS a try. Appt made, they were able to accommodate us for the treatments we chose. They called 3 days in a row to reconfirm and to aagain, get CC #.upon arriving, greeted. Cheerful, ready to go. we were told to put our clothes in basket, we would be provided slippers and robe as we waited in lounge for next treatment, the facial was 1st. not impressed, just felt as if lotion was being applied. extraction, virtually nil. i put on robe, informed«there are no slippers, put your boots on» I waited in hall for someone to tell where waiting room was. i was found by facial lady.“oh it’s out front” the Lobby!!! I hear male voices, people chattering. i am in a robe, boots on and guided to front. awkward! I was joined by 1friend, plain water, plastic cup, in the lobby. i went in for massage, it was ok, felt cold. after conferring with my friends, the disappointment cont’d.a 15 minute wait, turned into an hour. They each had the body scrub.$ 105, for what again? The one thing that stood out is. After coming out of rooms, there was no one around. Waiting in a chatty lobby, by front door, drinking plain water out of a plastic cup, doe not resonate«spa day» our bill for 3 of us was upwardsly of $ 700… We will not be going back.

I’m writing on behalf of their masseuse Victoria. She is amazing for deep tissue and aches and pains. I know there are other places that are cheaper but if you want someone who will really work at your problem areas it is worth paying extra to have her!

The worse massage I have ever received. I showed up right on time. But they had me fill out some paper work first that took 10 minutes. Little did I know that they included that 10 minutes as part of my massage time. So I only received 50 minutes of my 60 minutes massage. On top of that, it was supposed to be a relaxing Swedish massage. But it was nothing relaxing about it. The cold massage cream she used gave me chill down my spine. Her massage technique was really lacking and not so «heavenly» at all.

I received a gift certificate for my birthday this year for a swedish massage from my boyfriend. I’ve been to other massage and day spas before but this place has been the best yet. I had such a wonderful experience here and an amazing massage! I definitely recommend Heavenly Day Spa and will be coming back!

The only reason I gave the one star was because I felt bad for the nice girl that had to be the one to call and tell me as I’m walking into their spa for the first time ever that my scheduled therapist, Andrea was a no show. My first«me» day since I can’t remember when, blown… just like that. So, on the way home I stopped at Massage Envy and booked an appointment with them. So, Heavenly, I think not.

I booked this place on the last minute! Oh my goodness — cannot say enough great things about the Swedish massage I had, given by Kathy! I have had other massages, by far this was the best! Definitely going back!

From out of town and my sister took me here for a birthday treat. We were in the double room for a 90 min massage which was very enjoyable. Therapists were very attentive and kind. Really tried not to snore! The ambience of the home-like space was so pretty and welcoming. It was close to my sister’s place and in my opinion reasonably priced for the services offered. Would definitely return during my next family visit.

First, I have to say I love the environment and positive vibe you get when you enter this cute house; very welcoming and friendly. I got my hair cut done by the hairstylist Marzieh. She hands on, did such an amazing job listening and meeting my needs as a costumer. Marzieh blow dried my hair and styled it incredible that I was blown away. I looked like a different person and I loved it. I won’t ever go to another person again. I would recommend her to any of my friends and family. Also, definitely try out this awesome salon/spa.

Such an understated gem in downtown. Small and unassuming, once you walk in, you are immediately transported to a different state of mind. Great for waxing and massages. Reception is welcoming and atmosphere is relaxing. Parking is a little difficult as the lot is only accessible off of Main Street(behind Cheese Shop/Main Street Brewery).

I received a gift certificate for a facial and a back facial from my husband for Mother’s Day. I called to make an appointment and the receptionist was very friendly and got me in that following Saturday with their aesthetician. When I arrived the Victorian house was very cute and decorated nicely for the holidays. Christy the aesthetician performed my facial and she did an amazing job. She carefully did extractions on my face and removed all my icky black-and-white heads. She was very nice and sweet and educated me on the proper use of skin care. My skin glowed after I left, and it is still glowing. I have already told my husband to get me more facial gift certificates from here for my Christmas presents. If you’re looking for a great aesthetician please go see Christy she will take excellent care of you and your skin.

I came here for a prenatal massage when I was 33 pregnant. To me the pros outweighed the cons and I would come here again. Pros: –warm massage table –massage therapist didn’t talk during session –laid on my side(no the belly hole in the table) –they accepted my Spa Finder gift card –I didn’t have to wait around, they were very prompt Cons: –Didn’t ask me how many weeks pregnant I was when I made the reservation and they don’t massage pregnant women after a certain number of weeks. Luckily I was under that range but I would have hated to drive out there to be turned away. –Didn’t focus on the area I asked them to –Body pillow was flat so it didn’t support much –Ample parking, but difficult to get to, especially when they have loading trucks and such on the one lane road

I love this spa. It is small but you get personal attention. Have gotten great massages(deep tissue) from Theresa and love the Oxygen Facial with Kristie. Also take advantage of their brow shaping and tinting. This is a great place to go when you want to treat yourself with a little extra pampering.

Took my Mom for a spa day for Mother’s Day and booked facials and massage’s for both of us. I asked for a neck, head and shoulder massage only. Debbie worked on me, she talked the entire time wouldn’t let me get a word in edge wise and her breath smelled of garlic and onions. The entire time I smelt that breath, as she spent the entire time over my head. The head massage didn’t happen like I would have liked. I also added a foot massage, as that was included in the package. She didn’t massage my achy feet like I would have hoped. But I still tipped her $ 20. My facial was with a girl not sure what her name was, she was great and her facial massage was so much nicer then the neck/head one I had with Debbie. The place is clean and nice, I would recommend the place — just make sure they have mints.

I am happy to say I have changed my opinion of Heavenly Day Spa. I received a gift certificate for Xmas, and was leery of going, but hey — free pampering! I went for the Heavenly Package which included a 60 minute massage, 60 minute facial and a 30 minute foot rub(ahhhhhhh). Everything was wonderful! The ladies asked what I wanted/needed and were very attentive. I walked out of there feeling so relaxed and taken care of… In fact, I booked a detox wrap for next week. I completely reverse my old review — thank you guys!!!

I won a free pedi from the Downtown Pleasanton street fair, so I decided to check Heavenly out. I’m not a big mani/pedi person; usually I do my nail at home and save the appointments for big occasions. My experience at Heavenly, however, could change that. I had Karen as my manicurist, and she’s a nail expert. After talking with her I found out she’s been in the business for over 20 years and it shows. She knew her products and technique. She uses the«Jessica» line, a all natural, plant based, chemical-free product. The foot bath and lotions were a subtle soothing fragrance, and the selection of polish colors was classy but still had that pop. Also they keep their materials very sanitary, and she’ll point that out too. I’m glad see there is someone who is concerned for the well-being of their customers. All in all a nice relaxing experience, and I’d come back for any mani/pedi needs. Side note: I’m not sure if this is common but for the mani/pedi it’s cash or check only.
