I tried to visit this store on a Sunday. I was quickly told that the store was closed that day for Christmas setup. I returned about a week and a half later and purchased some plates that were from the Fall season. The 4 plates were a total of $ 23. Not a lot of money. Later I paid this shop a visit to return the plates because I found that as a gift, the person needed round plates rather than square. I returned to this shop a week before Thanksgiving. I was quickly told by the owner that clearance items were not returnable as she tapped her pen on a sign posted at the register. Now, as a shop owner I know she could make an exception. I left the store with my dishes and a bad taste in my mouth. It was only $ 23 but really, how about bending THE RULES every now and again. An exchange to something I could use would have gone a long way.

This is my last time in here. Owner is so rude… music was obnoxious. When I mentioned it the other salesperson said did they say a swear word… when I responded no… her reply was what’s the problem then, Seriously??? I can spend my money at a store with a nicer owner and not such a bad attitude

A small gift shop with lots of cute things. They have a lot of silk flowers here, which is exactly what I was looking for. I actually was looking for one silk gerber daisy, but unfortunately this place didnt carry it. But I found a beautiful silk flower that was the next best thing. The cashier was friendly and this place takes credit cards.

Cute store, lots of unique gift items. I bought many things from here in the past. Worth a visit if you visit Pleasanton. Contrary to other posters, the staff and owner here are very friendly, cheerful and extremely helpful.
I am in my 30’s — and did not feel that they treated me differently than any other age group (a pervious poster mentioned that she thinks the staff tend to cater to customers in their 50’s).
After purchasing some IHR gorgeous paper products, I was given a really nice bag to go along with it. I’ll definately be back!

the store doesn’t really carry products I like, it’s not my style but the two stars ratind doesn’t have anything to do with that.
I went there Saturday and bought two halloween garlands paked in pretty bix boxes but nothing huge either. They are $ 22 each. As I was paying, I saw the sale person grabing what was… well…a trash bag, green transparent plastic, no handle, and put the two boxes in it. I was shocked. Really? I am buying for $ 50 and you are bagging my stuff in a trash bag? I told the lady that i will do with no trash bag, tx very much.

I like this store for traditional home décor. Their style can be a a bit overdone for my taste, but when I am looking for home décor, I always check here. The sales staff is not overly helpful, and the owner is downright aloof, but I am a pretty self sufficient person, and that is OK by me.

Great store, good selection, but what about a little less rudeness from the owner? I will still come back but hopefully there will be some hired help there who are a lot nicer.
