I am always surprised when a reviewer has hundreds of reviews. Don’t they have other things they should be doing… like working… taking care of their families? What happened to Clarks shoes? It used to be the preferred shoe for young professionals. Now they are the cheapest things around… they are the Payless of business apparel«and I don’t mean that in a good way». And they are trying to live off their past glory, by charging you prices as if the shoes were the same shoes they used to sell. The sales folks were nice enough, but that is just not enough. I made a trip just to come to this store. And I was very disappointed, If your looking for shoes I suggest you just walk pass this store.

There is such a wonderful staff at Clarks, specifically Eric. I actually felt really bad for making him take at least fifteen trips back and fourth getting my shoes. Of course my mother and I ended up purchasing eight pairs for all three of us; my father, mother, and myself. Despite the high price of the shoes that cost an average of $ 100, the material is excellent and the styles are gorgeous. There was also a promotion for shoes that are on sale which promotes buy one get the second pair 30% off. It does not hurt to try a pair although it could be expensive, I think that you will like it.

Zero stars if I could. Waited for 20+ minutes for someone to help us. Guy walked by 3 times and did see us, decided to clean up instead. Guess they didn’t want my business. Love their shoes but this store just lost my business.

Whenever I have to decide what to put on my feet, I only buy a pair of shoes that has either 1) a sturdy and long-lasting material(like hard leather) or 2) good soles for walking; usually I can only get one or the other. Clarks is one of the few shoe stores with the best of both worlds: leather shoes that are great for walking(trust me, it’s true). Because of this, Clarks is my primary source for shoes. The store is quite small, with a moderate selection of shoes, sandals, and accessories for men and women, but hey, quality over quantity. The employees are courteous and helpful, always making sure you know about and get the best possible deal, and based on the price of these high quality shoes, you’re going to need it.

When the Walnut Creek store closed I stated to think again about 6-inch heels on a 2 or 3 inch platforms. Not the perfect shoe for my lifestyle perhaps, but just right for the one I dream of on occasion. Then, I discovered there was a Clarks Shoe store at the Stoneridge Mall. I an sure my feet will be happier if I put them into more sensible Clarks shoes. The ability to walk is another big plus. This store is small, but they have a nice selection of practical shoes. The salespeople are nice, I nice the young man waiting on me and idea of what I wanted and he came back with several pairs in the correct size for me to try on. I will be back, maybe not to browse as it is a bit of a drive. I will come back when I need shoes, I’m not sure what has come over me, I never thought much about shoes until this year.
