Annet Hammond Photography

We LOVE Annet! We started with her when we had our belly bump pictures taken and found her so easy to work with. She made us feel so welcomed and comfortable right off the bat. We of course loved all of the photos and then could hardly wait to bring our new bundle of joy back to her for his newborn session. We weren’t sure what to expect during that session, and luckily it all worked out smoothly. Annet was amazing with our newborn and the studio was quiet, warm and comfy for him. The photos are to die for and we are thrilled with the affordable prices for the packages we purchased. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience all the way around and will definitely continue with Annet as our family photographer!

I’ve been looking forward to writing this review, and now that we’ve gotten our wedding pics, I can tell the Unilocal world how pleased we are with Annet and with our pictures! Annet is a fabulous wedding photographer and here’s why:
1. She is superfast with processing our pictures. In my opinion, after a wedding, the thing you most look forward to, besides the honeymoon and opening the presents, is looking at wedding photos. Immediately after the wedding she presented us with a beautiful slideshow of pics from our wedding and our wedding pics followed soon after.
2. She goes out of her way to get to know her clients and her location. My husband and I deeply appreciated the fact that Annet really wanted to understand what would work best for us in terms of wedding pictures. She demonstrates this through a walk-​through of our location (both reception and church and post-​wedding brunch) well before the day of the wedding, as well as multiple phone calls and visits to my office.
3. She is fun and personable! Several of my guests commented that Shang «definitely has the personality a photographer should have.» That is, she is able to make her subjects feel instantly comfortable, on and off the camera.
4. She is flexible. Everyone knows weddings never run on schedule and she just went with it and did her best to make us feel relaxed despite the time crunch.
5. She is a true artist. Her pictures and eye for great photos is unparalleled. Her pictures captured the joy and love we felt that day perfectly. Admittedly, there were a few poses Annet suggested during the portrait session that I was a bit skeptical of, but of course, these very pictures are among my favorites.
We feel lucky to have found Annet while planning our wedding, and she has our highest recommendations. We would give her 6 stars if we could!

I have had Annet taking my family’s photos for almost 2 years and I love her! She is so creative and awesome. She never runs out of ideas and/​or props. I was recommended to her by one of my clients for my maternity portraits, which included my 3 year old daughter, and they turned out so good that I booked the newborn session, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months… you get the picture! We just had photos taken of our two boys. Annet was very patient during the photo session, which lasted about an hour. She captured hundreds of images, so I knew we’d end up with lots of wonderful choices. I had a follow-​up appointment yesterday to view the images and order prints. As expected, I had plenty of images to choose from, and Annet was so helpful in terms of helping me select the best shots and create a fun collage of several images. I’m so excited to get the prints in a few weeks!
