American Laser Center shut it’s doors with a handwritten note left on their door. It left thousands of customers to make payments on treatments they haven’t received. I have been trying to resolve this dispute since November 2014 because it is unfair to pay on treatments never received. Each time I do my part i.e. fill out paperwork/phone calls I’m told they never receive the paperwork or worse they send the paperwork needed to be filled out with only the cover page and no page that needs to be filled out(happened twice). I have copies of everything I sent including copies of the envelope date/stamp. The account was supposed to be on hold until dispute was resolved but I just received a bill with incurring interest charges and late fees. I called again today and same story they magically don’t have paperwork and they will not suspend my account. I then tried to contact the dispute department and instead of assisting me I was cut off and sent to a voicemail of a supervisor. I’m frustrated because I’ve done my due diligence and am pregnant and they are causing me undue stress. This can all be handled like professionals but I feel like they are cheating people out of millions of dollars. They mentioned they were a victim of ALC closing as well. This is not the correct response to the end consumer.
