This is a small grocery store in a small community, so one thing I noticed was that some prices were a bit higher than one would find at Walmart or some other huge retailer. I’m definitely not upset about that since you gotta do what you gotta do. Of course the best way to remedy that is to watch for sales and decide what’s worth what price to you. They also have a couple of generic brands for several products(Best Choice and Always Save) to help you in saving a few dollar. One thing I do enjoy here is the 5 for $ 25 special on their meats(not all meats mind you) such as bacon, ground beef, and various chicken cuts. I like to take $ 50 and stock my freezer. Their meat is very good quality. My husband and I enjoy the rotisserie chicken from their deli and you can’t go wrong for $ 5.99! Speaking of the deli, I grabbed one of their combo plates on my lunch break and I was very impressed. Chicken tenders and green beans were delicious! Those are between $ 4-$ 6. While I would not do my weekly grocery shopping here it’s good for grabbing some last minute dinner items you may have forgotten plus stocking up on meat!
