In the shadows of the outlet mall.
I had no idea that «the largest municipal recreation facility in America» was just a few blocks off the highway. I attended a swim meet here a few weeks back and was in awe at the offerings of this facility. The meet itself was held in the nicest olympic style pool I’ve ever seen. Walking around we saw that there is also a family pool with water park slides, two NHL size ice rinks and a monstrous fitness center. Outdoors there is an almost three mile paved walking path that surrounds a lake where you can kayak, fish and swim.
Minus one star for the fact that the Pleasant Prairie Power Plant looms over the Northeast side.

Love this area. The lake, trails, fishing, nature and trains are what makes this area awesome in my opinion.
