Why can’t there be 100 stars? Gamine is the best! The absolute best! From the minute you walk in the door, you feel like you’re visiting your best friend! She does it all! She has done my daughters hair and make up for proms, cuts and styles!

Gamine and Debbie are the some of sweetest people I know. Every time Gamine does my hair it comes out amazing and she always gives me what I’m looking for. She’s very artistic and cares about making feel as beautiful as they are. I had colored my hair dark brown over bleached blonde and the color never washed out. Quality service. They always make sure the client is comfortable and are always warm, welcoming, and kind. Love them!

Absolute best! Love Gamine! She is truly the best for color and cuts! I always just tell her to do what she wants and I love the work! Never disappointed with her! Can’t get any better of work. Especially for the price you pay! Work she does has cost me 300 – 400 before and she’s not even close to that! Will never go anywhere else!

I came here two weeks ago to get my hair and make up done. I was invited to a last minute fundraiser and did not have much time to make a plan in terms of hair and make up. I was really lucky when I called on a Tuesday that the salon was able to accommodate me for that Saturday. I needed a local place that would be able to do both hair and make up. I hopped on Unilocal and decided to give it a try.
I could not be happier with my decision to try this place. I got both my hair and make up done in a little over an hour. I received compliments all night on my eye make up (thanks Gamine) and curls that lasted all night (thanks Debbie), which is unusual for how heavy and long my hair is.
Both ladies made me feel right at home. The prices are reasonable for a local salon in the area and the service was fantastic. I loved not having to go to two places to get ready!
I will definitely be coming back for my hair and make up needs.

First, let me say that I was a desperate bride who needed hair and makeup for her day, and the fact that they saved me from having to do everything myself earns them the 5 stars! I’d give them 10 if I could. Gamine and Debbie are AMAZING! t hey both were so helpful, and Gamine did a wonderful job with my hair and makeup, I looked so pretty! I am so happy with the results and the price was very reasonable. I have definitely found my new salon!

I met Gamine and Debby when they styled my hair for my Junior Prom– almost 10 years later I can say without a doubt they are the best salon in the east bay– I have moved many times since then but each time I go back I love how they cut and style my hair. They have great talent and high skill level which is enough for me to come back alone, but more importantly they are sweet caring and funny and genuinely care about their clients. I’m so glad I found them in Pleasant Hill!

Gamine is one of the best hair stylest around! When i was younger i wanted my hair to be platinum blonde, she said she wouldnt do it for me but she would do a different blonde, i went to someone else because i was angry she wouldnt do what i asked and of course it MESSED UP my hair. I had to wait a couple years before i could even color my hair again and when i finally got it back to normal i went straight back to her. I’m finally old enough to realize she was doing me a huge favor by not doing what i asked. She a professional and she refuses to put her name on anything that isnt perfect. She has really made my hair a thousand times more healthy. I received a brazillain blow out from her and a darker color, I have never been more happy with my hair in my life. A good hair dresser, who knows what she is doing, DOESNT GOSSIP, and you can trust %100 is truly hard to find. I will keep her as my hair stylest for the rest of my life.
Also on a side note GET THE BRAZILLIAN BLOW OUT!!! its beyond words amazing!
