Love it! I won’t go anywhere else!!! I love love love this place. I drive out of my way to go to Kelly Anns. I live 15 miles away but I will happily make the drive. Their pedicures make my life complete

I’ve been going to Kelly Ann’s for over five years now. I normally go to Napa for a massage so when I found this little gem tucked away in Pleasant Hill I was in heaven. For massages I go to Stacy she’s great uses the perfect amount of pressure, doesn’t talk to you except to ask if pressure is ok. Love that cuz I’m there to relax. For facials and eyebrow wax I go to Tiffany. She’s amazing! Wish she gave full body massages because she’s amazing. I get a signature facial which comes with a head, neck, shoulder, arm, feet, and calves massage. Oh my I come out of there feeling amazing and with beautiful skin. I think the price is affordable(since I normally go to Napa where its more) to me and the service is great!

Called on 4⁄17 to book spa treatments. Whoever answered the phone needs a lesson in customer service. She was totally disengaged and quite frankly, had a snotty attitude. I booked the appointment hoping they are not all this way. Stay tuned…

My complaint about this business has to do with the way they do gift certificates. My husband bought one for me on the recommendation of his sister. Typically most business in California do not put an expiration date on their sold certificates(it’s illegal). This particular business does. If you don’t use it, you lose it. They are good for a year. Given the fact I had a change in career shortly after, I wasn’t able to get in within the required dates. I’m sure that I am not the first person to give them free money. While it maybe a smart financial business move(until someone sues them), it’s something that would prevent me from using them in the future.

Me and a couple girl friends came here for a relaxing day at the spa. Over all it was an ok experience. I do not know that I would go back unless I was in the area for some reason and by myself. It is not conducive to a group setting. Massage: Stacy was my masseuse. She was very pleasant and explained her usual pressure and how she did her massages. She didn’t talk during my massage; only to ask me if the pressure was ok and to turn over. The massage itself was really nice and relaxing. I cannot complain about that at all. She did a great job. The ambiance: Since I was with my girl friends, it would have been nice for us to have a place where we could relax and chat before our massages. The only place that they have is in the waiting area in the front. I can’t sit up there in my towel and drink tea. Yes, the décor is a little dated but who cares. I ‘m not there to be wow’d by the decorations. A 50 min massage was $ 75.00, which for the area is not bad. But I can get a 60 min massage hot neck towel, comfy robe, foot soak, hot tea(or bring my own snacks and beverages) for $ 75.00 at the local spa here in Sacramento(and get an excellent service!). The staff: All of the ladies who were there on Saturday 3⁄21 at around 3:00 pm were amazing. All very friendly and attentive. They were quite accommodating and made sure that me and my two friends were well taken care of. Very sweet! Final verdict: We picked this area because it was a half way point for all of us. We were traveling from Sac, Monterrey and Oakland so we needed something convenient and where we could go get dinner afterwards(walnut creek). If I was in the area I would come back but again by myself as it is not really for a «girls day at the spa». I would take some more time to look at the other options and see if I could get a little more bang for my buck. But I would definitely recommend them to anyone who lived close by.

Very expensive for what you receive but I guess that’s pleasant hill! Salon is a bit dated and the chairs don’t even massage and the 70 pedicure was not very long. To top it off there is a place next door with 25 pedicures lol

This place was great in 2000 but it hasn’t been updated since! I have been there several times before, many years ago, and it was a great spa but they really need to step it up! Facility: They haven’t replaced anything… gross old pillows and towels with holes in them! The peel and stick linoleum floor in the massage room was dried up and peeling off the floor so every time the masseuse walked around the floor made a loud crunching noise! Treatment: Body Scrub… she didn’t even lay a washcloth over certain body parts so I laid there completely naked which was very odd! Massage…she was ok but kept rubbing the same area of my lower back until I asked her to do the upper half as well. I now feel like I have a bruise on my spine from where she kept hitting it with her elbow! ouch I will not be back and I think they’ll be going out of business soon.

Had a spa mani pedi which included a paraffin wax. The entire experience was relaxing but lasted way over 2 hours. I wish the mani and pedi could have occurred concurrently to save time. I did like how the pedicure was in their«zero gravity» chairs. Essentially, you’re lying down during the pedicure and that this spa doesn’t use those unhygienic whirlpool foot tubs. I took away one star primarily because the décor was so old and there was a huge spider crawling on the curtains in the waiting room. Just a heads up — don’t hang out there before your spa service.

My friend and I wanted to do a spa day to celebrate my birthday and I found that Kelly Ann’s had the best bang for your buck for spa packages. We both had never been there before so I relied mostly on the Unilocal reviews to make my decision. We chose to do the peaceful journey spa package and it was just that… a peaceful journey. I really appreciated all of the extra touches that made our spa day special. When we arrived, we checked in and they had us change into comfortable robes for the day. They also had us put our purses and clothes in lockers and we got to keep the key in our robes. This was very thoughtful and made the experience stress free so that we didn’t have to worry about carrying around our belongings. By the way, this place is huge. It’s also very nicely decorated and the lighting makes it a very relaxing atmosphere. Don’t judge this place from the outside. It is very nice inside! So, after we got into our robes we sat in these comfy chairs and had a nice foot bath. We were served these cute chocolate parfaits with two strawberries. I had no idea we were getting this and it was a very nice touch to the start of the day. Delicious. After that, our order of services were facials, massages, body scrubs(hydrotherapy bath was broken), spa pedicures, and then lunch. Facial — my facial was good. Not the best facial I have ever gotten but it did the job. I felt relaxed and my skin felt good. I felt the esthetician knew what she was doing. Dermalogica was the product she used. Massage — my massage was nice. Good pressure and thorough. 45 min of hands on time. I enjoyed the heating pad on my back and the hot towels. Body scrub — we were booked with the body scrub because the hydrotherapy bath was broken. It was a good deal though because I think the body scrub is $ 25 more. I have never had a body scrub. The end product was nice because my skin feels good but it was kind of a weird experience being scrubbed and rinsed off. That’s my own personal experience though. I think some people would really enjoy it. Pedicure — this pedicure is insanely amazing. Takes the pedicure experience to a whole different level. Super relaxing. I was blissed out. It’s expensive so I wouldn’t be able to do this on a regular basis but this is for sure what I will be doing for special occasions. Lunch — it came with the spa day. We had our choice of chicken ceasar salad and asian chicken salad. Both were simple and good. We also had cute little muffins. All day we were offered fruit infused water in wine glasses. Nice touch. We were never rushed and the day had a nice, relaxing, peaceful flow. Everyone that worked with us was friendly, courteous, and nice. I feel like this place is much more laid back than other spas. This place is pricey and I probably wouldn’t come here on a regular basis, but for special occasions and splurges, it definitely does the trick. I really think this is a hidden gem in Pleasant Hill. We had a great time and might come back for my friend’s birthday in June!

Used the groupon for the hydrotherapy bath and body scrub. The hydrotherapy bath wasn’t as relaxing as I had imagined. The jets were wayyy too loud to the point where I couldn’t even hear the music coming from the speakers. I also kept sliding from the tub, which was uncomfortable. The tub would have been nice if there was a nice pillow. That would have been nice. Body scrub — first experience ever. The whole linear shower/pan thing is weird. But I suppose it makes sense, given the concept. The body scrub was really nice, and my skin felt amazing afterwards(got the honey milk). The massage that came with it was a tease… felt like the therapist was basically selling herself«here is what you could have if you come back.’ Didn’t really appreciate that. I’m on the fence if I would return absent a deal. Oh, another issue was the single changing room — coordination required with other guests, and the lack of locks for the locker. Apparently other customers go home with the keys, and are never returned. I ended up carrying my bag with me through the treatments.

I made two appointments for the body scrub, one for me and one right after my appointment for my sister. I arrived on time for my 3 pm appointment. At 3:22 pm I went up to the front desk and ask about the timing to which the receptionist said the esthetician was running late. The esthetician ended up coming in during my conversation with the front desk and by this time it was 3:28 pm, almost 30 minutes late. I ended up telling them to forget it as this obviously would have pushed my sisters appointment over 30 minutes as well and she needed to pick the kids up by a certain time. I proceeded to pay for my sisters treatment and although the receptionist asked if I wanted to stay after my sister for a treatment I really felt as far as customer service goes since they were so late they should have offered a discount or something. I used to go here a lot a few years back, but not so sure I will return. I am just surprised they totally missed out on turning a bad customer experience into a positive one!
