The staff here is usually not the friendliest and don’t go anywhere near closing time. They’ll close the bathrooms early and act like you’re bothering them.

Staff seems to believe they are doing you a favor by accepting your tip. Seems rude and lacks any style at all. Nothing more to say. Just hope they get new people and soon.

Great staff and fast service. But I just don’t understand what Starbucks was thinking when they designed this location. There are no comfortable seats inside – only hard stools. As uncozy and unwelcoming as could be. The only chairs are outside in the absolutely blaring sun, with no shade whatsoever. The dark metal tables get so hot they burn you to the touch. Honestly?!? Hopefully they’ll install umbrellas or some sort of means for shade, and change out metal tables for wood that doesn’t heat up in the sun. Meanwhile it’s almost empty of customers, while the Whole Foods is overcrowded. A great location but extremely poor table & chair choices. Odd!

I’m really digging the new Starbucks in Playa Vista as it sits across from Whole Foods. The setup is nice with the long communal table in the center and several other tables to the side. With Phase II of Playa Vista opening up, this place is going to be slammed once all the new buildings and businesses are completed. For residents, it’s no more than a 10 minute walk from the outskirts of the community.
