Used Greg’s Portable Welding to repair damaged screen on our iron gate. Also hard to open due to ground settling. He worked hard and fixed it all. For approx. 3 hours work on a difficult job, he charged me $ 250.

We live in a condo building and needed the screws/​nuts/​bolts on 3 bike racks to be welded down to secure the rack to the ground (since we had a near theft happen to one of the bikes). I found Greg’s Portable Welding on Unilocal yesterday (Monday), I called, he gave me an estimate and he was done with the job the next morning (Tuesday). He was On-​time, had a super-​fast response time via phone/​text, friendly and got the job done. Thank you!

I had a opportunity to use Greg’s services again to repair a metal guide rail. The rail had become detached from the ground. Greg came out the same day, made the repair, welded on few missing bars, and did it all with high quality. Thanks Greg!

I saw Greg’s listing on here one morning at 9am, called him at 10am, he came out at 12:30pm and was done w/​the job at 1:45pm. If that’s not portable, instant service I don’t know what is.
I did call 2 other places and one quoted me $ 550 for the job and another $ 250. I knew this was a simple job so I figured those prices were too high.
As far as Greg and his work, he is a really nice guy and took all my comments about how I needed it reinforced very professionally. He added a gusset on each post which I really appreciated. I feel Greg is going to be my «welder guy» from now on.

They came to cut out a holeand frame it for our doggie door in the iron security door. I had to leave before they were finished. The next morning when I double checked it, there was a slight gap on top and bottom where the mesh was and the mesh wasn’t adhered to the frame. So, I called them. They were super nice and said that they’d come back the same day to do the finishing touches to my satisfaction for free. I really appreciate their friendliness and willingness to have a happy customer. I posted some pictures.
