I lived at a property that was acquired this past year by Caris Properties. What I loved about Caris PM was the dedication from the property manager herself, Cristi George! On the few instances where there was any sort of maintenance issue Ms. George was first to respond and sometimes even driving out to the property herself to make sure the issue was handled correctly and in a timely manner. Whether I called the office or sent an email, someone from their office was always prompt at getting back to me no matter what my question was. Sadly, I had to relocate out of LA for my job otherwise I never would’ve moved out of that building. If I ever do find myself back in LA I’ll be sure to look for a Caris Property rental first because I now know how well taken care of the rental will be and how great the management team is! A BIG Thanks to Ms. George and the team at Caris!

Cristie was the property manager for a home my girlfriend and I moved into when we first moved to LA from NYC. She was extremely professional and helpful from day one and was instrumental in organizing a number of important repairs that were necessary as the owners had left the house a state of disrepair before we moved in. She took care of hiring the repairmen, scheduling them to come to our house, and working out compensation with the owners. Without her help the situation would have been a nightmare. When we had issues with the owners further down the line and decided to find a new home rather than continue to deal with their negligence and harassment, the lease Cristie had used(California Association of Realtors) helped to provide legal protection from them. Overall we were extremely thankful to have Cristie’s expertise throughout the entire ordeal. Her knowledge and network of qualified repairmen helped to minimize the inconvenience for us.

Awesome Service! When I needed her to come to the house I am renting, she came within hours or the next day depending on how big the repair was. I wish all my landlords were like Cristie. Unfortunately they probably won’t. 5 Stars Plus!

Wow. Dealing with Caris Properties was a really bad experience. The worst experience I have had in the history of looking for a rental property in Los Angeles and I have lived here almost two decades. I responded to a listing for a house in Eagle Rock and spoke with Christie George and she and I agreed to meet at the listing at 9am. I arrived ten minutes prior and waited until 9:20am before I called to find out if she was held up in traffic. When she answered the phone she informed me that she had sent me an email canceling the appointment the day before as she had already accepted an application and her policy was that she did not accept more than one application at a time(a policy that I have never heard of before in my life, maybe because it’s just too lazy for words). Needless to say I did not receive said email which means she didn’t send it. But let’s say she did, let’s give Christie the benefit of the doubt and say she didn’t forget about her appointment and lied in the moment. If you are canceling an appointment you DONOT send an email, especially 24 hours within the time of the appointment. YOUCALL. You call to make sure you are not massively inconveniencing another human being. It’s called common courtesy and professionalism. I drove 20 miles. I woke up an hour earlier than I normally do to make sure that I was on time. I stood outside a home for almost a half hour only to find out that she wasn’t even coming and why? Because she was already running a credit check on one applicant. When I expressed my frustrations to her, she seemed somewhat embarrassed but not terribly remorseful; her apology only quick and perfunctory. Then when I told her what she had done was unprofessional she merely said, «I agree.» Well, at least, she got that right.
