Stewart’s Shops

Last night at about 8:00pm my wife and I went to this Stewart’s location for ice cream. When we walked in there was probably at least 10 people waiting for either ice cream, checking out with grocery items or needing to pay for gas. I understand they were busy and there would be a wait but what disturbed me the most was the middle aged woman stocking shelves during a very busy time and chatting with a customer she seemed to know on a personal level. The young man working the cash register and ice cream was working so hard and doing a great job. Finally he yelled to the other woman and said he needed help. She had some snide comment about how he should be able to handle it! No one was very impressed with her, so unprofessional. I would not be surprised if that young man is looking for another job today. The 3 star rating really is for the hardworking man and the ice cream is always delish!

Stewart’s Shops is where we come to get ice cream, which is one of the best. The ice cream parlor is located inside a convenience store /​gas station and they offer samples if you are unsure of the flavor and want to try before committing. The scoops are generous and very filling and you can mix flavors. Death By Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Chocolate Brownie Fudge are a must have.
