Lame place. Connected to a Comfort Inn which should have been an early warning. Beer was sub par and food was horrendous. Old bar games and overall weird vibes.

I keep returning to this place in hopes that management has done something to correct the terrible service, but I’ve yet to have a good experience here. This place could do much better — the food is good and the atmosphere is great. Prices are a bit unreasonable for the area but considering it’s attached to the hotel, they can get away with it. I’ve worked in the food industry for a number of years and there is no reason for such poor quality service. Each time I have been, it’s not busy; on one occasion we weren’t seated for about 10 minutes when there was one other table in the dining room. Another time we got our appetizer after our meal(again in a virtually empty restaurant) only after being asked«oh, did you still want that?» On our last visit, the bartender basically grunted at us as she took our drink order. We informed her we had 2 more joining our party, so she brought 4 menus, but never returned. The craft beer isn’t much to write home about either.

Was staying at the Comfort Inn thought it would be a good place to go. Waited forever for a beer, although pretty good IPA not sure it was worth the wait. The brewery wasn’t that busy either. The manager came out a few times last night and was down right rude to a number of tables. In fact if I was the owner of this establishment he would be something I would address immediately. Downright rude to one table.

The beer and waitstaff snd bartender all great! However, managerJohn Fenimore not so much. He was very unprofessional to our group. Handled a very simple problem in the wrong way. A little respect and any type of customer service at all would have been nice. Do not recommend if he is still associated with the brewery too bad.

Rude on the phone but friendly staff in person. Difficult to find because it’s attached to the comfort inn and has a broken small sign. Cool atmosphere, pretty good food.

I had a very positive experience here. The beer was delicious and priced just right. Many different types to pick from. The food was delicious. The fries were fresh and not from a bag. I got the mac and cheese bites and the parm dip was the best part of dinner. This joint is updated and looks like something that doesn’t belong in Plattsburgh but in a bigger city.

Food was great and great drinks. Had a problem with the trivia being played in the bar. I was out with some friends from my birthday and while sitting in the dining room we could hear the trivia being played in the bar. The theme for trivia was the September 11th attacks. The woman with the microphone was asking various questions about details that happened that day. In no way was this honoring the men and women that died on that day. I felt super uncomfortable and truly upset that this would be considered a trivia topic which in my mind should be fun and upbeat.

I did not see the review about the flies until I was already there. But so true. The big screen TV in the bar had them all over. You could see them all over the wall next to the bar. I’m sure all the dark wood, brick and other dark colors his more. Now & then you could see them in flight around you. I nearly walked out, but had already ordered and being on a business trip & unable to turn in more than one dinner receipt for dinner, I just put up with it. Food was OK: French onion soup was good, as was the brown ale, but you just wonder how much extra«protein» came with it…

I used to be a regular at this bar. I would go once a week for trivia night, only to have a beer and hang out with friends to unwind. The only redeeming quality of this place is the beer. The service is terrible, the worst in the business. They have the worst fries I have ever eaten. They are never crispy unless they are burnt. They are always soggy it’s gross. The burgers are just ok. They are always over cooked. I got calamari there once and could not finish it. I have been to a diner in New Jersey that had better calamari than this place. Do not listen to the positive reviews of this place, seriously those people just got lucky. I’ve been there about 20 times because my friends love trivia. If it weren’t for my friends, the trivia, and the beer I would never go there again.

Good beer, decent flatbread toppings, flatbread on the rubbery side. The bartender was very rude one visit, merely disgruntled the next. Place was really dirty. Good layer of dust on stainless steel surface beertaps are attached to. Wall separating bar from back bar looked like a scene from the new TV series Zoo. Beware the fruit flies!!! They lay in wait…

Horrible service. Rude bartender. Walked out before even giving this place my $$$. Had a menu tossed at us and told 20 – 30 min if we ordered food. Never took drink order and just walked away. Rude! Will not be back. Hipster beer snobs. News flash — you are not cool because you serve microbrews and have not shaved in 9 months. Grow up.

My wife and I were going to make a Subway run since we dig that when we get home from a long week of making cash. Boy, am I happy that my friend called me and suggested we go somewhere to eat and have a chat. We went over a short list of options and I felt that since I am new to Plattsburgh, maybe I should give the Plattsburgh Brewing Co. a shot. Besides marrying the greatest lady alive and adopting a mile of dilapidated highway, this might have been one of the greatest decisions of my life. I’ll cut to the chase: Our server, Spencer, was fully engaged in the experience with us. Spencer was genuine and knowledgeable about all of the beer on tap as well as the items on the menu. He was patient as I asked a multitude of questions and professional during the entire experience. I use the word experience because from start to finish, this is how dining should be. I had the Carbonara and the home made pasta was the star of the show as it was cooked perfectly. The cream sauce, bacon, and spinach was perfect, making me wish that I didn’t have a body to maintain. I would definitely eat this every day. I had two paddles worth of beer which I put in Spencers hands to choose. He chose the best possible assortment and even labeled each sample. The quality of the beer is on par, possibly better than other local breweries I have been to. Especially that Citra IPA. Oh baby, you owe it to yourself to have some of that on a summer day. So crisp, so flavorful, so bold. I feel like I might go off on a tangent. Let’s wrap up this review with a bow. Value. Value. Value. Out of four people, fully served, stuffed, and satiated, our bill came to $ 65. I actually recoiled because of how low this bill was. I checked to make sure Spencer didn’t leave anything out, because I could have sworn that the experience I had was similar to those I have had in 5 star/4 diamond restaurants. Wow. I consider myself privileged to have experienced this place and will recommend it to anyone who appreciates a great experience. Suggestions: Have Spencer(or whoever trained him) be the gold standard for how you serve your customers. The professionalism, patience, and efficiency makes him an asset to your organization. We’ll be back. Kris and Monica Brown

Food is always great. Love everything I have had. Their brews are ok. Nothing over the top great but I have had some that are decent. Sometimes they are out of ones on the menu. However I gave 3 stars because last time I was there(have not been back sense) I brought in my growler I bought in the past the bartender filled it up without cleaning it out. I told her it was not cleaned and they usually blast it out with the water jet. I gave benefit of doubt but when I got home the beer was ruined. You could taste it had the old moldy leftover in it and I had to dump it all. They should know better anyways and rinse every one.

This place has so much potential, especially as a hotel bar/restaurant. The food is middle of the road. I stuck with the safe stuff(wings, fish and chips). We stayed at the hotel for over a week and ate and drank here three of the nights so I don’t write this based in one poor experience but those three. THESERVICEISTERRIBLE! I have never felt like a wait staff worked harder to show you how annoyed they are to be at work and to have to serve you in my life. Out of 5 different bartenders, not one of them ever greeted(other than a «hey, what can I get you»), checked back to ask how things were or worked to keep your drink filled. The gentleman next to us was overheard complaining to his wife that he had been waiting 10 minutes for a beer and I could see the staff off to the side of the bar talking and laughing. He had to hold up his bottle to get their attention. We had a group of five or six of us and ran up a couple hundred dollar tab within 20 minutes of being there and no one seemed to show any concern or care that we were celebrating a birthday and out to have a good time. This place is a disgrace to the microbrewing community and what they represent as a community and needs an overhaul in staff and clearly management(which was entirely non existent).

Very disappointed. I started out with the toasted ravioli app. They were over cooked and very bland. I then ordered their BBQ burger medium with the sauce on the side. The burger came out medium well and my fries were cold. The burger itself was not very flavorful or juicy. Good place to come for a beer but don’t come hungry you will be disappointed.

I recently stumpled upon the P B Co. and decided to give it a try. The food was just alright but nothing too crazy. The onion soup was appetizing as well as the calamari. I wanted to try the cat fish but they were all out so i had the crab cakes. They were average. The reason for only giving 3 stars stems from the service. Absolutely terrible. No one hosted us, no plates, napkins or silverware. We didn’t even have a specific waiter or waitress. Does someone manage this place? Basically, if you are a young college student or even a tourist looking to try it out, be ready for potentially poor service. I am not sure if the well crafted beers will work but enjoy. And I must say it is a cool atmosphere.

French onion soup was some of the best I have had anywhere. Fresh made mushroom ravioli was also great. Great brews. Even the light beers have lots of flavor. Will definitely come back here again.

Came back and had another great meal. This time the beer was in a cold pint but the food was fantastic again. Jamaican jerk wings are a must if you’re a wing fan and the build your own pasta is tasty. Make sure you ad a protein. My wife had the blackened catfish and loved it. We’ll be back.
