Course is in great shape and still a challenge after 5 years of playing this as my home course. Lots of good chances this year. Course has become really busy which is good so you should always call to see about tee time and/or tournament status.

2 years in a row I have come to this course to play a 9 hole round(by myself) 2 hours before a tournament start time and I have been told(very rudely) «NO» you can’t play. I’m done with this course… the greens are horrible anyway.

First off, I’m certainly not a golfer, just someone who likes to hit the ball and chase after it(into the bushes mostly). I was up in KC for the weekend for a «manly men’s poker-golf-and-Buffet concert» weekend, and we had groupons for Shiloh Springs: a round of golf, cart rental, and lunch(brat/chips/and drink) for only $ 25. This is probably the greatest golf bargain anywhere. The golf course was in great condition, although some recent rains had left some areas a little squishy, but the course steward was good about warning us where not to drive the carts. Had a great round, the staff was friendly and helpful, I hit my longest drive ever, and sunk the winning 12′ putt for my scramble group. I don’t want to endorse this course TOO heavily, because right now it apparently doesn’t suffer from the wear and tear of the better-known KC courses, but since I only get up there once a year, you can play on it the other 364 days.
