To begin with, I made an appointment with Dr. Johnson and not until my second appointment, I realized I have been seeing another doctor at the same office. This is a clear sign of bad business. Office is located inside a corporate business building in Plantation. The waiting room is your typical size with magazines to kill time with. As I was filling out my new patient paperwork, I noticed they had rather a few too many pages stating you are responsible for payment. I signed with the mentality that of course, I am responsible for my co-pay. As I was sitting there, a man was causing a scene about how everything he comes in, they demand more money and I was like great, I hope that doesn’t happen to me! The doctor… which wasn’t Dr. Johnson, after looking at a script, his name is Dr. Rosenthal, was nice and quick. When it was time to leave, the lady in the front said my visit was going to be $ 300.00. Immediately, I was confused. I said I was responsible for my co-pay of $ 50.00 and she informed me I was responsible for the«procedure» conducted and that I signed acknowledging this. I am a new patient, what procedure! I left paying my co-pay of $ 50.00 and said i would contact my insurance which they confirmed. After my recent appointment for allergies, the same lady said I had to still pay what was now $ 250.00. I immediately contacted my insurance and they said the doctor filed a claim of an endoscope exam. Which by the way, is like a camera in your nose, you would think would be apart of an ENT appointment. I made an appointment for new patient first time and I thought everything happening in my 5 minute appointment was just that. How would i know anything he would do is not apart of a first time appointment? Why was this not disclosed to me? This is the business they are conducting. They make you sign waivers beforehand so they can do whatever they want and just charge you for it. Lindsey, the lady in front, kept repeating«you are responsible to know what your insurance covers». Yes, I am responsible for my co-pay and if a doctor is going to do anything besides what I am scheduled for, this needs to be disclosed to the patient beforehand so I can make my decision if I am willing to go through with it. Safe to say, I won’t be returning to such a business and now i have to dispute this charge with my insurance. Not a way to treat your patients, especially people coming for their first appointment! They won’t return! I should have known to walk out when I heard the man yelling as I was waiting.

This man saved me! I was having a terrible issue with my left eye that NO doctor could figure it out. I had seen to 7, SEVEN, 7 medical eye doctors(ophthalmologists) in a matter of 2 weeks and still my eye was not better. One of these doctors suggested I see an ENT. I found this group, by my house, made an appt(they actually had one available that day) and went to see him. He did have an emergency scan done on my head, ordered me to bring him the CD rom as soon as it was finished. He stayed through his lunch(on his own time) to wait for me and review the results. NO Doctor does that anymore! I have nothing but great things to say about this man and the way in which he values people and his profession. I wish he was a regular doctor as I would change to him in a heartbeat.

Visited this office with having some sinus problems, left with a steroid shot in my nose and a $ 400.00 bill. Had to visit my primary after that who treated me because I wasn’t treated properly.
