I’m kind of digging this place. 2nd visit and I tried something different. This time I went with the California Club which is turkey, bacon, Swiss, guacamole, and mayo on a toasted croissant. Comes with chips The ordering process is pretty smooth. Once you pay they give you a number sign to put on the table so they can bring your food out once it’s ready. I just had water but there’s a full drink station with all the soda options, iced teas and even fresh cut lemons and limes. Grab a table or booth in the large spacious dining room. Kept pretty clean even though there’s a lot of traffic at lunch. There’s a huge salad bar that I’m going to try on my next visit. And I’ve abstained on my first 2 visits but there’s also a free soft serve ice cream station to treat yourself after your meal. Now that’s a heck of a bonus. Well, my sandwich was pretty tasty. The guacamole adds a nice twist to the already flavorful combination. The croissant was a little flaky and messy but I muscled through it.

My second time here & enjoyed it. Healthy options and good service. In fact, I had a problem and had to return my order(my fault really) and the manager handled it professionally and gave me something else. Have had 2 salads(both good) and hubby had chicken pesto sandwich, which he really enjoyed.

Good place to visit for lunch. The menu has salads, including a salad bar, soups and sandwiches. The lunch meat they use always has great taste and taste very fresh. They pile on the meat that’s for sure. No skimping here. I actually have to pull some of it off as it can be to much. This visit I tried the salad bar. Decent selection of vegetables, cheese, nuts, and crackers, toasted bread & cornbread. Although I enjoyed my salad it was very cold. Don’t get me wrong keeping items at the proper temperature is great but everything was super cold. I think they need to adjust the cooler. My daughter ordered a side salad and half sandwich. She had Turkey pesto and it was delicious. The food is made to order but we have never had to wait long at all. It’s always fresh and very reasonable pricing. The staff are friendly most of the time. This particular visit I went into the ladies restroom and it was so awful. Not because of any fault of the restaurant. This was literally some disgusting ladies who made a huge mess. Oh dear it was repulsive, I had to walk out and quick. I saw a young lady who works here when I came out and I told her how bad I feel that one of them need to clean up such a mess but it needed attention and quick. Very sad that someone would leave such a mess for someone to clean up. If you are wanting an inexpensive good lunch with many healthy options give this place a try.

We love this new Deli that popped up in our neighborhood. It’s an authentic Jewish deli with an amazing roast beef, corned beef or pastrami sandwich or any type of deli sandwich you could possibly want piled high. In addition, it’s one of the only delicatessens in town that offers a full salad bar complete with all the fixin’s and a self-serve Soft Serve Yogurt Bar. It’s great for kids and very family-friendly in a nice clean atmosphere with great music to dine. Great location and it’s great to stop in after a day of shopping or any time. We love it here and we’re so glad that they put this up and it’s our new go to Deli for an awesome sandwich.

Just sad. From my husbands meager pastrami sandwich with broken bits of potato chips to my salad bar starting off with not one but two dirty plates. Greens and veggies on salad bar were wilted and nasty. Many dirty dishes and un– bussed tables all around us. We will not be back.

Grabbed a quick dinner after landing in FLL. Had our order about 8 – 10 mins after leaving the register. I had the corned beef sandwich which was a little small imo. Decent but typical deli food. Friendly staff and you get free soft serve ice cream for dessert.

Jason’s deli is my spot when I want a buffet but am trying not to be a total pig so I go and get their salad bar buffet. Typically here for lunch, the line moves rather quickly. I’ve notice that they tend to leave a lot of tables dirty and not bussed which can cause issues with finding a seat. I get the unlimited salad bar. You can add protein(chicken in my case) for $ 3.99 and they will make you a chicken breast for you to put on your salad. Also, if there is some weird egg shortage– no fear, just ask them for some. They keep them in the back as rations. The salad bar is small, but has plenty of options. Sometimes though they can keep it too cold and the lettuce gets slimy. Their hummus is pretty good and I love their croutons. Every time you want a new plate you must return your old plate at the end of the check out line. Sort of a weird process but I guess it works. Not really diet friendly, but as an added bonus there is free ice cream available. Overall a decent lunch and/or dinner spot. Every place has its moments, but overall I enjoy coming here.

Outstanding service, friendliness and food. We’ll run by manager Tom. They offer a full gluten free menu and a well kept salad bar and soft ice cream bar as well.

I first had them for a luncheon with my job. Have come a few more times. It’s a different kind of fast food. It’s real food fast. I have brought both my dad & my daughter. Both enjoyed the food and the ice cream. They have service like a regular restaurant. You order at the front and they deliver your food to the table. Multiple people will walk by and ask if you need something or if your food was good. Every time here the people have been super nice too. Great experience every time. :}

As I sit at my table with my little girl having lunch I am very pleased to say that I would definitely come back here. We look out our window and we see the golden arches of crap next-door and wonder why would anybody would go there when they have so many beautiful healthy options at Jason’s deli. They also offer many organic options! It’s very clean. Staff is friendly. I’m in love with their granola bar! Wish they sold it by the bag

This review is based on two experiences during lunch time. If you have the option of going to Panera Bread please do so! The quality of the bread is terrible; I ordered a panini that included guacamole and the guacamole was black and tasted terrible and the cheese didn’t even melt. The service is good and the place is clean! That’s the only reason why I give them 2 stars.

I hadn’t seen Jason’s Deli since college(when it came by and pushed the beloved WaWa out of College Park and pissed off the entire town). But this one is probably newer. Came in on a random Friday afternoon and it was dead, there were probably 3 people in here. Weirdly enough there were a LOT of tables that needed to be cleared. I forgot that this is one of those places that you leave your plates on the table after you leave and someone is paid minimally over minimum wage to come grab them and wipe up after you. The selection of food here is that of your typical, well, deli. However I either forgot how bland some stuff is, my tastes have evolved into more snooty foods, or the sandwich I had was just plain blaaaaah. I ordered a California Club sandwich and it came on a croissant? Weird choice but I can get over that. There was almost no avocado and the one piece of bacon on it was so greasy it was inedible. Sad face. I ordered the steamed veggie side rather than fries or chips, looking for a healthier option. They were hard as rocks and bland. I don’t recommend them at all. The biggest selling point about Jason’s Deli is the free soft serve ice cream they give you with all meals(which some people will come in and just take and leave-come on), and this I totally forgot to get on the way out because I was a little annoyed. Oh well. I would try here again due to nostalgia, but there are better, not chain delis to try that are better that I’m more likely to frequent.

Left my car getting serviced in the same plaza and came by Jason’s to get a bite. They have soups, salads and sandwiches. The menu is pretty extensive — which is good because there’s choices, but bad because it’s pretty hard to choose! They have a couple of «local» specials and I decided to go with one of them — the Club Royal. Smoked turkey breast, ham, bacon, Swiss, cheddar, leafy lettuce, tomato, honey mustard, on a toasted croissant. I usually don’t like honey mustard, but this was a solid sandwich! It came with a side of chips. At least 3 employees were kind enough to let me know there was free ice cream whenever I wanted — as well as free bread and muffins. I’d take advantage of the muffins next time — but you can bet I hit up the ice cream. Got the mixed chocolate and vanilla — it was delicious! I almost want to fill up a cup with ice cream and then get some Coke to make a float. Would that be frowned upon? Eh, I’ll risk it! The staff was SO nice. Even the lady that cleaned off the tables smiled at me and said, «Thanks for coming.» — that’s pretty awesome that everyone from the first person I saw to the last person I saw was smiling. Will deff stop back in when I leave my car for an oil change!

Jason’s Deli is a chain restaurant that offers several healthy options, the menu consists mostly of sandwiches, soups and a salad bar. This Plantation location is brand new, the restaurant is spacious with lots of booths and tables, everything was very clean, the bus boy kept on going around clearing and cleaning tables. You order your food at the counter, they issue you a number that you place at your table for the food runner to bring you the food once it’s ready. Drinks and salad bar are self-served. I ordered the Pot Roast & horseradish sandwich served with steamed veggies. The sandwich was ok but I found the portion to be very small, and it had too much horseradish, and although the veggies were ok I think the steam veggies were not fresh and were frozen. Overall I felt it was very overpriced for the portion size and quality. I may give it a seconds chance, but I wasn’t impressed with Jason’s Deli, especially with TooJay’s being right down the street where you get a server and huge servings. Food: Ok — 3 Value: Overpriced — 2 Service: N/A(Counter service)

We tried to get into Vignetos last Friday night but they had a long wait. My sister suggested IHOP also in the same plaza but we wound up at Jason’s. We were driving right by this place and I heard good things so I suggested we stop here instead. The set up reminds me of a cross between Panera & Sweet Tomatoes. After you place your order at the counter a runner brings your food to your table when it is ready. The restaurant is very spacious and very clean. The menu consists of salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, soups and baked potatoes. My nine year old nephew ordered the Broccoli Cheese Soup. It did not look good to me at all. It was thicker than most soups and my nephew didn’t eat much of it. My brother in law ordered one of the Muffaletta sandwiches and he also was not thrilled. He did say he would have enjoyed it if it didn’t have the olive spread on it. Most Muffaletta’s have the olive tapenade so either he was not aware of this or he just didn’t realize what was in his sandwich. My sister and I shared the Beefeater. This sandwich is a ½ pound of roast beef & provolone on toasted French bread. A cup of au jus was served with it. What I liked was that each sandwich came with either baked or regular chips. What I did not like was the processed roast beef. It tasted just like Arby’s to me. Add some Arby sauce and melted cheese, throw it on a bun and then you will have the famous Arby’s Beef n Cheddar. The sandwich was loaded with roast beef but it went to waste since both my sister and I did not care for it. The salad bar was impressive. I say this because it had hummus, pasta salad, whole hard boiled eggs and two types of olives on it. I love olives so I was happy to see that they had both greek and green pitted olives. My brother in law also pointed out that the salad bar also had an assortment of nuts, all different kinds. I really liked the Italian dressing and it tasted homemade. With all meals you are treated to complimentary mini muffins and garlic toast. I tried the garlic toast and it was just okay. The best part and highlight of our dinner was the complimentary ice cream! It was just your basic soft serve vanilla, chocolate or swirl. I had a small cone and it was delicious. My brother in law and sister picked up the bill. But in my opinion the prices are high for the quality of the food they serve. The salad bar alone is $ 7.89. If I ever go back I would just stick with the salad bar. For me personally, a more economical choice would be to go to Sweet Tomatoes. Their salad bar after 4pm is $ 11.29. The price is higher than Jason’s but it includes: salad bar, soup bar, pizza bar, pasta bar, baked potato bar, assorted breads and muffins, cookies and soft serve ice cream. For me it’s a no brainer.

For me, a 3 ½ star rating for now. I believe Jason’s Deli is a nice addition to the neighborhood. It is «fast casual style»; you place your order at the counter, get a number and the staff will bring the food to your table. It is a nice compromise between getting your own food at the counter at a sub shop and a sit down deli. I am familiar with the food at Jason’s from other location’s. It offers sandwiches, soups, salads, baked potatoes, and a few pastas. For me, the food is «pseudo deli». Some of it is tasty, but it lacks any authenticity and has no soul. I do enjoy their soups. The Chicken Pot Pie Soup is basically a cream of chicken soup. Although not the healthiest item, it is smooth, creamy, and delicious. Plus, it really hits the spot if you are hungry! Both husband and I got a cup of it as side with our sandwiches, with a bit of an up-charge, instead of the usual sides. Husband got the Pot Roast Sandwich, a special. He thought it was tasty but could have used a lot more meat. I tried the Wild Salmon-wich: marinated, grilled, Alaskan, sockeye salmon, guacamole, tomatoes, lettuce, & chipotle aioli on toasted herb focaccia bread. I found the sandwich to be disappointing. The salmon had no flavor. There was the slightest wisp of guacamole and the bread was«blah». In the past I have had the Mediterranean Wrap. With turkey, hummus, & veggies, it was tasty, but still felt mass produced. My 11 year old was pleased that Jason’s had penne and meatballs, and my 10 year old loved the salad bar. The complimentary muffins and garlic toast are a nice touch and heaven sent when you come in and you are absolutely starving. Although I do have to mention that the mini corn muffin I had today was kind of stale. I am not sure why, as the place was pretty busy when we were there. Also nice is the complimentary ice cream for dessert! You can get a cone or a little cup. They even had yummy chocolate sauce. I admit, it’s difficult to turn down a free sweet treat! I am not really sure what Jason’s strives to be… more than a sub shop… but not really a deli… but not up to the standards of a gourmet sandwich shop either. Definitely smells of a chain although I have to admit that for a chain, the staff members are trained well, are very pleasant, and really aim to please. Definitely a place to keep in mind for quick, casual food.

I love Jason’s Deli! I first discovered it while I was living in Maryland and was psyched when I heard one was opening just around the corner. They brought down a team from MD to help open the store and so far. Amazing job! I usually opt for the Salad Bar each and every time I go. all those who know me know that I am obsessed with salads. and if I can build my own that is a huge Bonus! The Salad Bar has every option that you could imagine to build your ultimate healthy lunch. My fiancé usually goes for the ½ soup, ½ sandwich option and swears by the Tomato Bisque and Amy’s Turkey O(hmmm. funny coincidence). Feeling extra hungry? Try one of the over-stuffed baked potatoes. Yum! Aside from the food, I am a stickler for customer service and they have that covered. Greeted as soon as you come in, service with a smile and attention to detail — On my second visit, the woman behind the counter(Stephanie. who rocks!). remembered that I don’t like dressing on my salad. Awesome, I love that she knew that after only one previous visit. Looking for a yummy, filling and healthy lunch. Jason’s is the way to go!

We entered Jason’s Deli before noon today and saw bustling staff preparing for the day’s onslaught of customers! We placed our order at the counter and then grabbed a seat at a nearby table. The staff: Nearly all of the employees appeared to be high-school aged teens. They were focused on their jobs(no one was just standing around) and engaged the customers in the eye as they greeted them or offered assistance. The cashier repeated our order to us a few times to make sure she got it right. The manager was hands-on; when he heard us change the meat on our sandwich he alerted the kitchen staff. I bet this is the first ‘real’ job for some of the kids and it was great to see the manager working with them and encouraging them to succeed. Each of the employees with whom we spoke was polite and caring. We ordered: Half of a muffeletta sandwich(a traditional New Orleans sandwich made on a large round loaf of bread with olive tapenade, ham and turkey, and provolone cheese); A bowl of tomato soup; A Rubin sandwich(half pound of corned beef [you can also get pastrami], Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut with Russian dressing on the side — on toasted bread [they traditionally serve it on grilled bread]; Free mini corn and spiced muffins; Free ice cream cones Waitng for the food, we had a mini corn muffin and mini spiced muffin. They were tasty and a nice touch to have baskets of them at the bread/cracker/hot sauce station. Each sandwich was served with baked or regular potato chips. The sandwiches were so generous that we had leftovers. The restaurant was very clean, including the well-stocked salad bar and complimentary bread/cracker station in the midst of the tables and booths. The beverage area offered coffee, iced teas, and several flavors of soda. When our order was delivered to us, the server presented the dishes along with utensils and napkins. The soup seemed homemade, with chunks of tomato and a generous garnish of cheese. The muffeleta was made with soft bread and tasty olive tapenade that complimented the meat and cheese. The Rubin was so overstuffed with meat and sauerkraut that it was hard to hold. I ordered the Russian dressing on the side but it was so good I used all of it on the half I ate there and the half I took to go! We helped ourselves to soft serve ice cream cones on the way out the door. Even the cones were fresh and delicious! We saw many people pick up orders to go but we will definitely return to eat there — the food was great, the employees were exemplary, and the restaurant was really clean… and the free ice cream cones really underscored their hospitality!

So I had a few hours to kill before work and decided to get some food. I wasn’t looking for something special to break the budget or something quick like fast food. I remember Jason’s Deli had their grand opening a day ago and I decided to give it a try since it is near my job. As I walked into the business I was greeted at the door by a friendly staff member and asked me if I had been to a Jason’s Deli before. Since I told her no, she gave me a quick tour of the place. She pointed out the soda and tea fountains, the salad bar, complimentary ice cream and then took me to the register. They have lots of options on their menu. If I had to compare it I would say it is similar to Panera or Crispers. Everything on the menu looked appetizing with options such as salad, sandwiches, paninis, pastas, potatoes, kids menu and dessert. With so much to choose from I went with a suggestion employee that greeted me at the door, the New York Yankee which had ¾ pound combo of hot pastrami, corner beef and Swiss on rye bread. The sandwich was pretty good and I would have it again however when I come back I would like to try something new. I had their ice cream for dessert with hot fudge. Their motto is that everyone deserves free dessert!
