Loved the wine tasting dinner. Great variety & service. Sangria was delicious as always. Would’ve been perfect if Danny was allowed to join us at the table.

4 stars because Customer Service was okay. Waiter seemed very distracted. Also it was the 2nd time the lasagna ran out. Food was still delicious though.

Not impressed. Food was horrible. Alfredo was bland and dry. Veal Marsala was super salty. Ala vodka was just like regular pasta not a creamy thick sauce. Server seemed super overwhelmed. He was super nice but needs a lot of work. Our table constantly had dirty plates or glasses on it even after the server had come to the table numerous times. We even stacked them and put them at the edge of the table *hint*, still he and several other servers walking by left them sitting on the table. We had ordered some after dinner drinks being as though the menu stated they were $ 3, I even asked if it was a standard drink pour or smaller based on the discounted price, server informed us it was the regular pour. We ordered a Baileys and Grand Ma. I had specified I’d like mine over ice but server just assumed the Grand Ma was the same and out it over ice. Not what we wanted at all. Then when we received the bill the drinks were full price. I questioned the bill and server came back and said it was a mistake so they took it off the bill. Needless to say we won’t be back! Highly disappointed.

There are some not so good reviews here for Carabba’s but I will say this… my mother suggested this place for lunch and I was skeptical because I always associated Carabba’s with restaurants like Olive Garden. Well let me tell you, I was very impressed! J.R., our waiter, commended our choice on the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and they failed to disappoint! The sauce and combination of cheeses were just phenomenal! I ordered the Cioppino, which was a seafood medley consisting of shrimp, mussels and clams. Delicious! My mother ordered one of the wood fired pizzas, which she said was great. And it looked awesome! I was a little full but the Sogno di Ciccolatta(chocolate dream) looked too good to pass up. It is a fudge brownie with chocolate mousse and whipped cream! Being a chocolate lover, I had to have it so I ordered one to go. I ate it later on in the day and it was unbelievable! Overall a very good experience!

We were looking for a happy hour spot before heading over to BB&T for a hockey game, and this was a good central location. Jordanna E’s review helped out a lot with all the happy hour details. So many places in the area only do happy hour until 6(kind of cheap of them I think) so seeing that Carraba’s went until 7 and their specials included food and drinks this seemed like our best bet. When I arrived Savanna M had already grabbed us a high top table in the bar area. These high top tables as well as the bar itself are the only places you can get the happy hour pricing. Unfortunately when we arrived she expressed a displeasure with the service, and she had only been there a few minutes so I was worried. Unsure if we would get a waiter or not I sent my boyfriend up to the bar to get drinks and ordered a sangria. It took him a little while to come back, and we were getting hungry, so we pretty much sent him immediately back to order food at the bar. At this point we witnessed a small tiff between the staff as it was obvious we were supposed to have a waiter and things just weren’t going smoothly. Luckily within a few minutes a waiter came to our table and was very friendly, and things improved significantly from there. If it weren’t for the awkward initial greetings and lack of staff to serve us I could see going four stars here. Since we finally had a waiter and got utensils, napkins, and a bread basket, we went into full on ordering mode, getting a pretty good percentage of the happy hour food items. As a quick overview, the burrata was the star, the mussels were probably second, the shrimp scampi was pretty good(really liked the bread it was served with), and the calamari I would skip, both it and the sauce that came with it were pretty flat. I enjoyed the sangria, but switched to vodka soda after the first one just because I’m just not into sweet for more than one drink. If you’re in the area this is definitely a decent happy hour spot, with the pricing being quite good, and the option of so many food items at a discount. Maybe we hit an off day for service(it was a Monday, maybe not their top staff), but Jordanna gave me some tips for waiters to ask for next time. I’m not crossing Carraba’s off my list by any means, I just hope that future visits can run more smoothly.

Looking for a happy hour spot near BB&T we were only finding spots that had happy hour ending at 6pm(I hate places that end their HH at 6pm, but that’s another story)…so we decided to expand our search a little more and remembered Jordanna’s recent happy hour review for Carrabba’s. Carrabba’s is one of those chain restaurants that I don’t entirely hate, so I was happy to check them out and happy hour sounded like a deal. So, overall the evening was a success, or at least it ended in success — food and drinks were good, and bill was great, but it started off a bit rough and therefore I’m forced to round down to 3 stars. I arrived first and asked the hostess if Happy Hour was at the bar only, or anywhere in the restaurant. I almost felt like she had a bit of an attitude with me, but explained happy hour drink pricing was the whole restaurant, but happy hour food pricing was at the bar only… ok I headed to the bar. I found the bar to be packed… definitely not enough room for my group of 4, but did notice the bar area also had hightops, so I inquired with the bartender if I could sit there and still get the food pricing… he said that was ok(Happy Hour pricing menu was on these tables) and I was more than happy with that route. I ordered a blackberry sangria since I was already at the bar. Blackberry sangria was great, and I handed him my credit card. I was expecting to get the usual«keep it open?» but he immediately closed the tab. I’m fine with him closing the tab, I guess I did sort of indicate that I wanted a table, but he didn’t ask, and since I was still alone at that point it’s possible I did intend to sit at the bar til my friends arrived, but anyways. I headed to a hightop and sat down. And then I waited… and waited… and waited. I picked up the happy hour menu a whole bunch trying to signal my interest. At this point I was starving, and a bit annoyed with the service I had received so far. Two of my friends arrived and they headed to the bar to order a drink once it appeared a server wasn’t coming. They asked the bartender if he would send a server and he said yes, but took their drink orders. And then we waited… and waited again lol. Eventually I witnessed two servers arguing over who would serve us… it was all a bit off putting. So when we finally did get a server, he was great. He could have stopped by a bit more, but the bar area with the high tops did fill up at that point and he got kind of swamped. We ended up ordering a few different plates to share. All of the appetizers were half off so we tried — **The Calamari — Probably one of the worst calamaris I’ve ever had… **The Shrimp Scampi — So, so. **Caprese with Burrata — AMAZING… get this for sure. **Mussels — Not quite as good as I remembered them being. They also had some small plates under $ 6, we only tried — **The Meatballs — pretty good, though a tad more ricotta would have been nice. Ok, so looking back, maybe the food was only A-OK, but trust me that burrata was so damn good that it’s left an overall favorable view in my mind. Like I mentioned the pricing is great. You can definitely have a cheap date night here… just hoping you get better service.

It’s a great spot for Happy Hour. No, it’s not full of a bunch of young good looking people drinking their day away… but they have a solid deal. Appetizers are ½ off Monday-Sunday from 3−7pm in the bar area, a bunch of drinks are half off as well. I love going there with my friends and kids and pigging out on all their appetizers. On the ½ off menu is: A HUGE burrata, topped with heirloom tomatoes, red onions and drizzled with EVOO and balsamic glaze Shrimp Scampi– Succulent shrimp in a garlic wine sauce with baked ciabatta bread Wings– Grilled wings Calamari– Kids love it, two portion sizes Mussels– didn’t try them Arancini– didn’t try it After the selection of appetizers I get a meal to share with my kids. Normally it’s the Johnny, which is a filet with marsala sauce and a goat cheese chicken. It is served with pasta and a soup or salad. Great deal! The service at this location has always been great! We LOVE Mo and last night we had J.R. He just transferred here from Georgia, and he is such a gentleman! Don’t hesitate checking this location out. The service is top notch, and that kitchen NEVER messes up the temperature of steaks, and the food is pretty good for a chain restaurant!!!

After a hell of a weekend with wife going to emergency surgery and making a great recovery. Went to Carrabba’s and was treated like royalty. From the entrance to picking up Carry Out order to having a cocktail at the Bar. The staff is up beat the Proprietor GM very welcoming and hospitable. I love this place. I will continue to come here as the food and service is always consistent. JR new addition to the Team as well is a far out employee who will go above and beyond. Proud to say this is a neighborhood gem. Great Value, Service, Family Feeling!

Did a call ahead cause wait was 40 min if we just walked in so waited an hour before we Left our house. Arrived and was Told it would be 30 Min. I was not happy. Complained and manager agreed call ahead wasn’t good and the company had a bad policy. Was seated and saw many tables were empty but Not cleared. Waited 15 minutes for a waiter to come. Finally got order in. Salad arrived. No drinks. No water and no bread. Had to ask for it all. Salad was water wet and small portion. One of us ordered chicken and the portion was small and it appears they compensated by adding lots more mashed potatoes. Spent $ 80 for meal for 3 adults. Not worth it anymore. This is a management problem. Get it right or we wont be back.

The entrance to the restaurant was dirty and disorganized. I have been to their restaurant in Gainesville and there is a big difference even from outside. The shopping center is kind of dead and the food took forever to arrive, but it was tasty.

I don’t usually care for chain restaurants but I am a fan of Carrabba’s since they tend to have consistent quality and good service. I have only been to this location for lunch, the outside appears to be going through some remodeling and even appears closed from the outside, the indoors is smaller and darker than other locations, it appears to also need some updating. The food though is consistent, I love the minestrone soup, the fettuccine Alfredo, and the chicken or steak Marsala. I also enjoy the complimentary bread served with olive oil and their special seasoning mix. Service is friendly and attentive. Food 4 stars Location 3 stars Service 3,5 stars

I had not been to Carraba’s in a couple of years, but this time I was really impressed with the food and service. Our waitress was Kimberly, and she did an outstanding job, making sure our orders were modified to match what we were looking for. I tried the hazelnut breaded Tilapia with a creamy lemon sauce. You can order this with a pasta side or vegetables, and I decided to go with the grilled asparagus. This is a definite winner. The fish was cooked just right, perfect seasoning, and the asparagus were super tasty. For dessert, we tried the panna cotta with raspberries, and it was delicious. Overall, I was very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. They are in the middle of remodeling the restaurant, so it will only get better once they are finished.

When I got there I thought the place was shut down for two reasons: 1. There is major construction to the front of the building making it look condemned. 2. When I entered the building it was completely worried because it was empty. Overall, it’s ok here. Nothing stellar but nothing bad. I will say our service was great, but again, it was dead so what do I expect? The Caesar salad I had was delicious. I didn’t love my dish. It was just ok. There was something in one of the cheeses I personally didn’t like. I thought the portions were great, especially for lunch. Unlimited bread and oil is always a plus, especially for me. Everyone I was with raved about their meal so maybe it’s just me? I would go again, but definitely not a first choice place.

I have never been to a different Carrabba’s to compare this location to so I personally love coming in since I discovered this place about two years ago. I have never really a bad experience here. I usually have the nicest waiters and I am in and out just how I like. I don’t have to flag the waiter down for my check & I don’t have to ask for refills. They are located in the corner of a complex that houses the new LA Fitness & my favorite Publix. 9⁄10 times that I have visited were late nights so there is no wait. Last Friday I attempted to go after 6pm and I instantly made a U-turn. Coming to a restaurant like this in this area on a Friday night is an obvious no-no if you don’t like waiting for a table. I actually think they have gotten much busier with the opening of LA Fitness. After Applebees closed down that was right in front of it, it was kind of located in an area that was sortof dark and sad. They offer bread on the house that comes with some side oil with herbs to dip into while you wait for your meal. I think I actually go to eat here so I can enjoy the salad that comes with your meal(optional to get soup instead). They offer to put cheese on everything– WHYNOT! I get it thrown on my salad and all over my meal. They tell you to tell them when to stop with the cheese and they usually give me the side eye as they dump so much cheese and I am just watching in pure joy. Who doesn’t love endless cheese? Going for dessert? Tiramisu, for sure.

Half price appetizers at their bar till 7 pm. They have a huge selection too! We had the caprese salad, risotto balls, and the shrimp. All were under $ 6 I believe. The shrimp were plentiful, I swear there was like 15 of them, very good. Totally going back for Happy Hour!
