Disgusting! Unsanitary! Take it from a medical professional. Noticed half way through the wax she was re dipping the sticks! I inquired and the owner stated «the state doesn’t mandate using new sticks for each dip, it costs me too much money» Pay a little more and go to a salon that doesn’t double dip! Save yourself the risk for infection!!!

Love Adina! Been going to her several years. Can’t think of a better person to take care of your waxing and skin needs. Adina is very professional and reliable. She calls/​texts to remind you of your appointment which is a tremendous help for my forgetful self. I live and work in East Ft. Lauderdale, but make the ride out to her Plantation Spa religiously for my waxing. Give her Spa a try — you won’t regret it! Please note that all less desirable reviews seem to be Groupon customers who might not know just what impact such negative review will have on a small business owner.

I purchased a groupon for this place almost 3 months ago and waited a month to call and use it for a special occasion. The problem is that this establishment is a one woman show and it’s mission impossible to book an appointment. Majority of my work shift are from 12pm-​10pm. This business is only open till 5pm Tues-​Sat. Every morning appointment I went for was out of the question literally for 2 consecutive months. On top of it Adina (whom I’m presuming is the one women show) took a vacation for a week out of the last month which she closed down for. She will NEVER answer the phone, however will respond via text. One point I was in the middle of texting her trying to find a time that works, and I thought «this is silly why don’t I call her?» She never answered, however continued to text. Professional? I had asked for an extension or a refund since there was no way to book with her and she told me to contact groupon which can’t do nothing after 3 days of purchase. On the voucher it clearly states that the value never expires but the specific deal I bought does. She could have tried harder to make it work or offered something else but she did not. Adina has no business working with groupon when she does not have the time to accommodate her clients. In my opinion it’s scamming money from people. Lesson Learned.

Brought wife here on a groupon and this place was a easy find. The lady who greeted us on arrival was very promising in terms of politeness and being gregarious. Very catering and polite so much so I got a bit paranoid lol. The wait was only 7 minutes and for me I was full of joy as I immensely detest coming to these places
(Sorry Sweety lol). Sitting here as I type I have brought another waxing groupon, as a revisit here is a no brainier .I just adore great people with welcoming personalities. She has nailed this in its entirety and my pleasure with my wife’s Brazilian wax has gotten the waxer a huge tip.

The only reason I gave one star was because I had no other choice!
So I decided to try this place because Unilocal had some good reviews about it. When I walked in there was NO type of greeting whatsoever. The lady that was doing someone’s nails just stared at me like I was from outer space. So I sat down waiting to see if someone would come out and someone did and again no acknowledgement. The nail lady finally decided to speak and asked why I was here. I explained to her this was my FIRST time here. Her response: Do you have an appointment? You have a Groupon? No, I found you guys on Unilocal.Well we’re the only two ladies here and we are very busy & we don’t take walk-​ins.
I got to the point where I asked the lady look can you see me or not? She said No. This lady was soo RUDE! I don’t understand why she couldn’t say that when I walked in. I come from the customer service industry & you don’t treat people like that!
I would not recommend this place to anyone! Get some manners people!

Adina with Ador spa is a hidden gem in Plantation. Her services are wonderful and her professionalism even better. Adina takes pride in her business and it is shown the moment you walk thru her doors. The services and products are of a high quality. I, highly recommend, her spa facial and waxing services.

When there today July 3 2012 and got a full bikini wax for the groupon price of $ 17. They are very nice there and I would go back and pay the regular price $ 35, because waxing ain’t cheap.
I don’t understand the previous review by «Mottel H». It cannot be that bad!!! These people are super caring and nice.

I, too, went for the Groupon. The Brazilian wax was perfect. The therapist uses small rips. I was not used to this method. It was different, but effective. My hair is coarse (I had recently shaved), and it is thick. She had to do quite a bit of hedging. But, the waxer handled it like a champ. She stopped frequently enough to ask me if I was okay. I appreciated her sympathy to my predictament. It did not take long and I was in and out in a snap. The only drawback, there is a hair dresser right outside her door. So, you will hear the hair dryer and the like… Even though it was not very «Spa-​ey», I thought she did a great job. I definately will go back when I am in S. Florida.
