I got lost coming here for an appointment. I called their office to get help and a rude receptionist answered. I explained to her that I was facing the hospital. She told me to look for a one story brick building. I explained that all of the buildings surrounding the hospital were brick. Her response to me was«well I don’t know what else to tell you. Our name is on the side of the building.» Oh gee thanks that’s a big help lady. After driving around for ten minutes I found the place. If you go back out on 15th, turn left before the Lutheran church, turn left in the first opening and go down to the second building on your right you’ll find it. The building is older and the front actually faces what you’d think is the back. When I walked in, I was the youngest person there. Most of the people in the waiting room were elderly. I have no problem with that but I was sort of expecting to see at least one person in there 30’s or 40’s. The doctor that I saw was nice but very robotic. Zero small talk. She basically asked me questions and then sent me on my way. it wasnt a very warm and friendly environment. But I will say I was in and out of there quick. Overall an ok place to go. I personally wont be back. I prefer a more friendly environment where the doctor makes me feel like she actually cares and that Im not just another number.

I would like to start the review with saying I have had some terrible gynos/obgyn’s and some ehhh… ok ones that were not so offensive that I didn’t come back but were not extremely helpful either. I went for my yearly two weeks ago and saw Dr. Elizabeth Coronado. She came recommended to me by two family members with rave reviews but after my lackluster experience with gynos I wasn’t holding my breath. I was WONDERFULLY surprised at how easy going, non-judgmental and how well she listened to me! It was like talking to a good friend that happens to be a well informed doctor to boot! She addressed all of my concerns and even suggested a non-hormonal all natural cream that… hand to God… has cured me of my painful fibroid cysts in my breasts in one weeks time! If you want a very smart, caring compassionate doctor who has an open mind to the benefits of traditional medication and the benefits of vitamins, herbs and diet based solutions then Dr. Coronado is your gal. She is very balanced and takes a whole lifestyle approach to helping women be their best and healthiest. I have always dreaded my well woman visits because I never felt heard or validated just judge for my «caffeine intake» and sent home with no real solutions. I will not dread them anymore. I am singing her praises and already two of my friends have called to get on her books for their 2016 visits. Thank you Dr. Coronado! I will recommend you again and again. I definitely see now why my two family members who are regulars and have had Dr. Coronado do surgery on them are so over the moon with her. I am too!

Women’s Specialist of Plano, LLP — My experience I’ve been going to Dr. Jennifer Newton of Women’s Specialist of Plano, LLP for years. Brilliant woman, very nice, and has a fabulous bedside manner. Unfortunately, she moved out of town and Dr. Elizabeth Coronado took her place. Wow! What a jackass! Loud, obnoxious, and arrogant. She’s one of those people that think she’s funny, but she’s not, so it’s really awkward when she tries to be funny and fails, over and over again L So let me tell you about my problems with her. I have lived with serious back pain for 15 years due to a car accident that broke my back and almost every bone in my body, I had to learn to walk all over again, and I’ve had multiple back surgeries over the years. I work full time and go to school full time, so I’m fully functioning, and have a high tolerance for pain. I had another back surgery two months prior, so I was on some pretty strong pain pills when I came to see her about pain«down there,» and after a sonogram, she suggested that I have a hysterectomy. When I told her I was on very strong pain pills, she said she would give me pain medicine as strong, or stronger, to deal with the pain after surgery. Well, it’s after surgery, and my prescription is for Midol! This woman took a freakin’ organ out of my body and gives me Midol. It took over six hours for the hospital to reach Dr. Coronado. I didn’t bring my pain meds with me because again, she told me that she would give me pain meds in the hospital. I was in agonizing pain, and she strolls in hours later and acted as though I was exaggerating, and then had the nerve to say to me, «you just don’t handle pain well.» This lady almost got punched in the face! Luckily my husband was there. I have had six back surgeries, learned to walk again, and live with pain DAILY! I have a very high tolerance for pain — it’s different when someone blows up your stomach, punctures it in four different places, yanks out your uterus, and then gives you Midol, and insults you! WOW, unreal! So, she tells me I can return to work in two weeks and to make an appt with her in two weeks to check my progress. She has no appointment times until three weeks after surgery. So I return to work after two weeks of bed rest, and I’m just not doing well. Something feels wrong, bad pain, hurts to walk and urinate, but again, I can’t get in to see her because she has no appt times, and no other doctor can see me because her nurse says she likes to do her own follow-ups. Finally, I get into to see her after complaining about the two hour wait, but her tardiness is common because she is completely oblivious to what is going on around her, and how inconsiderate it is to make people wait sooooooooooo long. She finally comes in with an attitude as though I had done something wrong by complaining. She said the reason she was late was because there was, «a lady in the next room with her guts hanging out on the table since noon»…LMFAO! Really? She’s tells this lie so much that what she doesn’t realize is that she told me and my husband the same lie the last time she kept us waiting for over an hour. I just started laughing. She further communicated that it’s been such a tough day that she hasn’t even had lunch… oh my goodness, she went without lunch? She could use a couple of months without lunch! I can’t tell you how many days a week I go without lunch due to my patients, and I certainly don’t get cranky and blame my patients. And I certainly don’t keep a patient in a doctor’s office with their guts hanging out since noon, instead of in the operating room in the hospital RIGHTNEXTDOOR, at Medical Center of Plano– where they belong. You think if someone came in your office with their guts hanging out that you would have called an ambulance to come 250 feet across the parking lot, pick the lady up, and take her back 250 feet’ to the ER! WTF? No, instead she chose to leave the lady and her guts out on the floor while she came into to my appointment to insult me. Her story is bullshit. I’m assuming this was a lie on her part to cover her tardiness again; otherwise she should not be practicing ATALL! No doctor in their right mind would allow a patient to hang out in the next room while their guts are hanging out on the table. LIAR! I can’t believe this woman is a doctor! She falls into the category of an inconsiderate arrogant bozo! She forgets that I have the right to choose my doctor’s and who gets paid — well you just lost me as a patient and a customer, and believe me my visit with her is going to be all over Unilocal! I went to another gynecologist; he recognized in 2 minutes that my pain was from my bladder being in spasm from the trauma. He gave me a prescription… all better!

I personally have not at any issues with Dr. Fox as a doctor. He knows what he is doing and talks you through every step of the way. He delivered me and is still my mother’s doctor and mine as well. However, I have never been treated so badly by all of the staff including scheduling, accounting, and nurses. If it was not for Dr. Fox I would never step into the office to Women’s Specialists of Plano. They are truly to rudest people I have ever encountered in the medical profession. I hate having to call to get a prescription refill and/or make or change and appointment. Calling this office does nothing but put me in a bad mood and want to look for another doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Fox, however the office and staff are the worst.
