Meagan has done my makeup twice for formal events and does a FANTASTIC job! She’s very friendly, made me feel at ease, and I can tell she put a lot of thought and effort into my makeup application. I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve been to this salon. The owner is always there and is super friendly and accommodating.

Stay away from this salon! The owner claims she is «understanding» but she is anything but. If you have a bad experience be sure that it won’t be resolved unless you take more time out of you day to have her «assess» the problem. I offered to show her pictures as I don’t have time to make another trip to her salon and that wasn’t good enough for her. She had the nerve to tell me that if I contacted my credit card company for a refund that it’s considered a theft of service! You didn’t provide the service I wanted! You may want to rethink your «polices». Not surprised that your salon now has 3 stars here. *****EDIT: to respond to this owners nonsense below! I’ve gone from long to short hair before! This is not the first time I have DONATED my hair! Shame on you for implying I’ve been traumatized by the length! Your stylist didn’t give me the haircut I wanted! Note to self: next time cause a scene at salon and leave without paying! My mistake! Lesson learned. Thanks for noting my generosity, you goon! I gave you the chance to help me and you were more concerned about your policies than your customer service. Hope you’ve learned a lesson. Although you’re so dense, I doubt it.

Asked for blended highlights — what I have a few chunky strands blonde and the rest of my hair without highlights at all.

Granted, it is mostly my fault because Lindsey was not available and I asked for whoever was; in my defense, I assumed that in order to work at The Evelyn Kershaw Salon stylists would have to demonstrate a certain level of expertise– well, I was wrong. I received the same quality of work that if I had gone to Fantastic Sam’s– except that I paid $ 175.00
Now I have to pay more money to fix what Emma did — so that I can go out without looking like I just escaped from a bad movie from the 80s

My stylist was really nice and did a good job blow drying my hair. However, when it came to the dying job she didn’t do what I asked and it came out looking the same as when I walked in. I showed her a picture of a balayage I wanted and all she did was add a few strips of brown, under all my hair that look damaged. She said you would be able to see them in the sunlight, so I took her word for it but my hair literally looks the same. I was charged $ 200 for just a wash cut and blow dry, pretty much. That’s ridiculous. I’m very unhappy with my experience. This salon is overpriced for the quality of service that they provide. Will not be recommending this salon to anyone

Never met a stylist I didn’t like. I’ve taken my teenaged daughter there for a wash, blow out and flat iron several times and I’ve been happy with both the service and results. This is especially worth noting because my daughter’s hair is long, thick, and very curly and even though the stylists are non-​black they were able to get the job done. I’ve taken her to Abby and Emma.

Eugene Caswell ruined my color. I went in for a correction and came out with green highlights. $ 300 wasted.

I had heard about The Evelyn Kershaw Salon from a friend and need a stylist & make-​up artist for my wedding. I read great reviews so I decided to make an appt.
The whole staff was very nice & my hair stylist & make up was done by Lindsey. She couldn’t have done a better job! I showed her pics of how I wanted both my hair & make up and she made it happen. I have found my new stylist !
I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO EVERYONE !

I’ve been coming here for over a year now and its only place i trust to do my hair — and TRUST ME –i’ve been to a ton of hair salons in dallas and plano. I’ve paid $ 90 for just a haircut before and lets all be honest — it ain’t worth it! Evelyn Kershaw salon is great and if you go on a Monday you get 35% off! I’ve come here for both haircuts and coloring and they always do a really great job. I get compliments from strangers all the time — they want to do know my hair color become so multi-​dimensional and i always tell them that i come here. I’ve referred quite a few friends here as well and they are happy.
