These are the worst floor installers, and have employed the least experienced wood workers i have ever seen. We had a new house built by Bloomfield homes last Spring. They used texas floor source to install solid oak, hand scraped floors. It was a very rainy spring. The floor installers are supposed to check the woods moisture content before installing, and dry it to a specific moisture content. Apparently our wood was very most due to windows being open during the process, along with rain everyday. Shortly after moving in, and the wood drying out, we have massive contracting and shrinkage along with cupping of all boards. Normally, you get slight contracting in winter and expanding in spring. We got major contracting and shrinkage between the end of spring and beginning of summer. You can not walk barefoot or even in socks, on our floor, without feeling the sharp edges between each and every board. The installers supervisor would no longer return our calls when they severed their relationship with Bloomfield homes. Do NOT use Texas Floor Source. Very unprofessional and very inexperienced wood workers.

TERRIBLE customer service and warranty. We purchased wood from Texas Floor Source through our home builder(First Texas Homes, also terrible). The sample they showed us was flawless and beautiful. We selected it thinking we would get that sample on our floors. NOPE! They pulled the old Bait-n-Switch on us. They gave us wood that had a bunch of cracks and holes and marks all over it. When we complained, they said thats the style for that wood and its rustic. We asked why the sample didn’t show any of those marks or say rustic on it anywhere. They had no answer for us. The wood planks are not installed properly either. Theres chips on the corners, and they’re not lined up to wall very straight and nicely. The wood company blames it on the house builder, the builder blames the wood company. Terrible customer service, terrible and cheap quality products Do not purchase your wood from Texas Floor Source. Make sure you ask your home builder what company they use, and find out if its a good one. If they use Texas Floor Source, beg them to use a different company!
