Self Store at Coit

Absolutely awful experience. Negligent staff and low security. Our entire building was broken into and I lost all my possessions. They don’t care. Avoid at all costs.

Worst storage place ever. They close the office whenever they want regardless of their posted hours. Good luck getting any help from anyone at this location.

I used Self-​Storage @ Coit to store a bunch of my furniture while I went home from school. I had actually planned on using Public Storage, but they tacked on a bunch of extra fees for a specific lock and insurance and a bunch of other stuff I really didnt need for a couch and some boxes.
Mrs. Sue at the front desk was super helpful, sweet and had my unit all read in like 15 minutes. You can get into the facility whenever you need, there are elevators for the big stuff and a timed lighting system for the inside units (because those long dark hallways can be creepy). Paying online is easy and on top of all that, I got my 5×10 for like half the price of the DISCOUNTED price at Public Storage. I love this place! Its close to my campus and I have yet to see an unfriendly face when I visit.
Great for UT Dallas students who don’t want to take everything home with them for the summer. 10 out of 10!
