Relax The Back

I went in for the first time to look for the ContourSleep bed wedge system for my husband. It was almost closing time but the sales associate was not mindful of the time and was extremely helpful. He was not pushy, as a matter of fact, he recommended that I take my husband to the store so he could try it out himself. I purchased the system nevertheless and my husband was very pleased. The associate also made me try the Omni-​Motion Perfect chair. If it were not for the price, I could have ordered one that night. But I’m still thinking about it and could possibly buy one before the sale ends.

I went to relax the back about a month ago because I had fallen and my lower back was bothering me quite a bit. I’ve heard about this store for a while and pass by on Preston Road but never been in before. I was promptly greeted by a sales associate. she asked me what brought me to the store. I told her I had fallen and my lower back was bothering me quite a bit. she asked me when it hurts the most, in the morning, afternoon or evening time. I told her when I’m sitting on my couch and also when I’m working in my office. She recommended an ergonomic office chairs as well as a zero gravity recliner. Zero gravity recliner instantly took my pain away, I was very impressed. My wife also like the way the recliners looked. She said it would match our Decour. I also looked at the ergonomic office chairs but I decided to buy it after I purchased a recliner. I purchased the recliner using their 0% financing program. The recliner was delivered to me within two days. I really enjoy my recliner and I would recommend Relax The Back for their professionalism and the knowledgeable staff.

It took an exuberant amount of time to be waited on (yes, this was the week before Christmas but only one other customer in the store). I’d purchased a tempurpedic neck pillow right after my neck fusion in 2000 at a different location, then a side sleeping pillow after a shoulder injury in 2010. I LOVE my side sleeper pillow, Relax the Back brand, and purchased it at the Lubbock store. My husband wanted a new pillow for Christmas so I went to this store because it’s close to where i live now and I didn’t want to buy a cheap pillow for him as a gift. HORRIBLE service to begin with, but I finally got waited on and bought the pillow. It’s not what my Hubby wanted so when I went to return it, I was told it couldn’t be returned. It was never slept on. So, I have a $ 130 pillow that is useless. AND the man in the store was COMPLETELY rude and unhelpful. I didn’t expect a full refund, but I’d have taken a store credit to be able to buy more items in the future. However, I won’t be back, and will sell in on Craigslist I guess. I don’t know if the man that works there is an owner or the woman behind the desk is an owner but the two of them were the WORST employees I’ve encountered since living in this area. I won’t refer anyone to that particular store because of them. It’s a shame there are great products there represented and sold by such horrible people.
