On June 10, 2016 my friend and I called in and placed an order around 10pm, they said it would take 15 – 20 minutes. It had been about 20 minutes before we made it there and when we get there were given a buzzer and asked to wait. Which is fine! But then… We wait ANOTHER20 minutes so I had decided to go up and ask about the food. The lady at the front, which seemed to be the manager, looked confused when I asked, like we were waiting to be seated.(The golden state/cavaliers game is on) I mentioned my name and said I was Togo and she pulls out our food from underneath the counter where it had been placed to keep warm, until we got there… Not sure how long it had been in there! We then ask for 3 sides of ranch and waited another 5 minutes when there were 3 people up front folding kids menus and checking the computer! I know you can grab our ranch were obviously pretty upset. SO… Extremely frustrated because we had to 1. Pay for three sides of ranch when we waited 40 minutes 2. Wait that long!!! And 3. Our fries were soggy and we had to reheat them up along with our food in the microwave!

Came with the family. Got seated rather quickly even though it was packed with customers inside. Should have asked for a seat outside. Very busy & noisy inside of the restaurant. Food was okay. Price was fair.

Bad experience. I do not live around this area but I was in Plano for some weekend concerts, I know how loud pluckers can get, which isn’t really a problem if you have visited this chain for more than 4 years. I have no other place to eat wings than Pluckers, and that day I was craving pluckers wings so decided to drive up there and dine in. My wife and I sat in the bar, the area where we sat wasn’t clean, the bartender saw the mess and just picked up the trash, she didn’t hesitate to get a towel and clean it. Alright, I got over it. We ordered drinks and waited, waited, and kept waiting for them. We had recently ordered an appetizer with the drinks but we got our appetizer before the drinks that we ordered at the same time. The server/bartender looked pissed, she would look at us all rude, so I believed it was like a mix and match because she was looking at us all rude and being an ass. We ordered the main food, I always love the food so I enjoyed it. Server asked us if everything was good, I said yes but we needed some more drinks and some ranch. Cool thing is I ordered buffalo hot boneless wings and we got out drinks and the ranch when we were done with all of the food, I was thirsty like an old rusty camel because of the wings, my mouth was on fire. I love the flavor but not without any beverage. I’m totally not coming back to this location, bad service, great food.

It hurts me to give this place 2 stars. I love the wings at Pluckers. I religiously went to the original Pluckers in Austin for 4 years when I was a college student. When Pluckers opened their first location in Dallas on Greenville, I made the trip over there. Since Pluckers now has a restaurant 5 minutes away from my house, I’ve been here more than a handful of times(usually ordering takeout). My favorite flavor is Spicy Ranch, Lemon Pepper, Buffalo Hot and occasionally Fire in the Hole. I’m giving this place 2 stars because of the awful awful service I experienced here yesterday. I came here in a group of 6 and 5 of us ordered alcohol. Now we trickled in, so the bartender /waitress had to explain the daily special price to us 3 separate times. We all had the same idea. The drafts that were available in 34 oz would be 5.75. On the alcohol menu, it does not state the specific prices for each beer(which is red flag, just be honest and straight with the prices). Which apparently none of it is true and the beers are just really expensive with 2 dollars off, but you never knew what the original price was on it. Next, never come here on Wednesday night unless you love super loud club music from the awful speakers above your table. So that started right after we sat down and ordered. They say it’s for«trivia night» but whatever. We’re not so old that we wouldn’t enjoy a noisy scene, it was just REALLYLOUD like where that high note just hits your ear drum. So we requested to move out to the patio. The manager comes to our table and was not very nice. She doesn’t greet our table, doesn’t acknowledge the loud music, but just says that there’s a wait for a patio table. Now I had already gone outside and scoped around. There were PLENTY of tables. She left to give my friend one of the waiting beepers. So when she came back, I specifically questioned the«wait». She said oh, well there’s a big party and we only have 2 waiters dedicated to the patio. But of course she just sounds annoyed and is just rude. Ok, why don’t you say that in the first place? Our food had already arrived so we decided to just eat our food as quickly as possible and to get the heck out of there. I’m so so disappointed by the service here. If you look at my review history, you can see I don’t usually leave reviews to just complain about a bad experience. I really hope that the communication improves and the manager fixes her sour attitude. She stood at the hostess stand and just had a scowl on her face the entire time.

This is a good place to eat for a reasonable amount. Good for teachers to get a free appetizers Friday from 3 – 7 with Id badge. They are very good people with very good wings. They also have a variety of other reasonable dinners and appetizers great for weekend entertaining.

Oh man! When my buddies and I play golf the loser of the round has to eat the hottest wings we can find. Since we’re all from so cal, we usually go to a Buffalo Wild Wings and suffer through the blazin wings… enter their trip to plano to visit me. Pluckers was the choice and the fire in the hole wings did not disappoint. HOT, unquestionably hotter then the blazin wings at b dubs. Check the pictures and the video!

Great place for wings + drinks! I love the variety of flavors Pluckers has to offer. Whether your looking for sweet or spicy sauces, they have it all! I usually order the Gold Rush(sweet and tangy sauce with a kick of spiciness) boneless wings. Other flavors I recommend: Bakers Gold + Hallelujah For their lunch special, I paid $ 10.95 for 3 boneless chicken wings and waffle fries. Great portion size! I recommend the sweet tea and strawberry lemonade. My favorite alcoholic drink is the psychedelic frog(it’s green!!!) I can’t forget to mention the fried pickles. Some of the best fried pickles I’ve had in Texas. Service here was fantastic. Our server checked on us and was attentive the entire time. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location.

HADTHEWORSTHOSTESSEVER. Why does this keep happening at different Plucker’s locations? I love the wings so much, but the hostess always ruins my night… I walked in on a surprisingly not busy night(meaning no one else before or after me waiting on a table). There were some empty tables, but I had a group of 8 so I had to wait for a larger table to open up. This is the exact conversation I had with my hostess: Hostess: How many? Me: 8. Right? *glances at a text to make sure* Yes 8. Hostess: *silence* *hands me buzzer thing* Me: Do you know about how lo– Hostess: *cuts me off* 15 minutes *turns around and walks away while another hostess looks on awkwardly* When our table is ready, I walked up with the buzzer, the same hostess takes it, doesn’t say anything, grabs a couple menus, and speed walks towards the back. The other hostess looks at me apologetically and says«If you’ll just follow her, she’ll show you to your table.» Before any of us even reached the table, the hostess tossed our menus on one side of the table and speed walked back to the front(where there were 0 people waiting on her). Other than that, my experience was an average Plucker’s experience. But that one hostess ruined my mood completely. Plucker’s can do better than that…

Typical bar and restaurant which serves bar food, wings and booze. Chicken wings are better than BWW in my opinion. We usually order to-go so we don’t have to worry about the crowd and the wait. If you do the same, give your order by phone and just pick it up. It’s usually just in here.

We came in on a busy Friday night. We lucked out by getting there just before they went on a wait. We were seated on the patio in January, but it was enclosed and was actually pleasant. We started with chips and queso, they were just ok. I guess it’s our fault for getting queso at a chicken place. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with the medium buffalo sauce. The chicken was tender and juicy, but the lettuce on it was wilted. The house made ranch dressing was awesome! I also had the sweet potato fries that were a little overcooked. The hubby had the boneless wings with Cajun seasoning. He commented on how large the wings were. He also ordered a side of onion rings. They were a bit greasy. What I really enjoyed was the front of the house manager was checking on tables and had a known presence. That is always a plus in my book.

This was my first time checking out Pluckers, and I was impressed! I had the Mango Habanero and Buffalo Medium. The mango was definitely sweeter than I anticipated but I didn’t mind. I shouldn’t have wimped out and kicked it up a notch on the buffalo as I love spicy food. The service staff were all working as a team to assist even when our designated server was tied up, which we appreciated. The great service added to our NFL playoff experience. Well done.

Born and raised in California — came here for my first meal of being in Plano Texas for the first time. My sister and her boyfriend have lived out here in the same place for the last 5 years and swore on this place. They described it as a similar place like Buffalo Wild Wings back in San Diego. So of course I was down. We went on a Sunday night during football playoffs. Partly because I wanted to watch the game because they have no cable. But I also checked out the menu online and the previous Unilocal posts and I was sold. Once I got there I knew I wanted to try the psychedelic frog drink that I saw so many of on the Unilocal site. Totally worth it. I thought it was so delicious and you can’t taste the alcohol at all. It is very sugary and sweet but so yummy and unique. I had a hard time deciding what flavors for my wings. I love bone in and semi hot flavor. I went for buffalo medium and spicy ranch. Loved them both! My sister got spicy garlic Parmesan and it was amazing in flavor but extremely overwhelming. We tried the sauce of the hottest one and OMgggggg spicy as f. And the flavor builds as the time continues. Overall soooo impressed with this places quality of food and service. Downsides: costs for ranch. Costs for extra sauce. Costs for extra celery. Does get really loud during sports.

I love love love Pluckers and used to go to the original Austin location and then the San marcos location and then the SMU location and now this one(I moved around a lot), but I’m watching what I eat these days so I am loving Pluckers from a far lately. Great wings, boneless wings especially and I especially love their hot buffalo sauce. The service at this location, particularly at the bar, is pretty terrible. Everytime we are in here we have to try really hard to get the bartenders attention. At least the food comes out fast and delicious.

We only came because we had the 5 free wings coupon from a Mavs game. Wings were mediocre. Decent size but sauces were meh. At first I was a little worried about the bar service but it got better. Tried: Mango Habanero: CALIENTE! Mango-e? I don’t think so. Lemon Pepper Parmesan: Greasy as hell but pretty good flavor. Dry Rub Ranch: boring, bland, dry as dirt. Hallelujah: Like a spicy bbq? not bad. Probably were my favorite of the 4. Waffle fries: soft, could have used a couple more minutes in the fryer Ranch: watery No carrots, celery only. Boooooo Wingstop still takes the cake.

Excellent wings!!! After trying some other wing places like Wingstop and Quaker(which has since closed a lot of locations), wanted to give this a try. Left full, not disappointed, and ready to come back! First off the wings are huge, much larger than any other places I’ve been to. Sauce selection was decent, buffalo hot was fiery but in a very manageable way. Waffle fries were good(though not as irresistible as Wingstop’s). All in all, a great place to have wings!

I like this location better than the OG location(that is now being remodeled) on Upper Greenville. It is updated, and the wait was not very long on a Friday night. It is a great casual spot where you can eat wings, get a beer, and chill. We started with the fried pickle appetizer. They are fried pickle spears instead of chips served with ranch. For dinner we ordered a plate of wings with 4 flavors. They charge 25 cents for each flavor change, but whatever. I had the lemon pepper and the buffalo mild. My boyfriend got something that was ridiculously hot. I kind of wish that there was some way to separate them because I do not like spicy food at all, and his were touching. We also shared an order of waffle fries, which tasted so good with the wings. The service was a little slow, but it was a busy night, and our server was really friendly. We left full and happy. If you are looking for good wings try this place out.

Ok firstime here, came with the family, and I did read the reviews from my fellow Unilocalers, yes it is very expensive, but the sauces used are very premium and the chicken pieces much bigger, we tried out the Sampler plate, that had great fried pickle wedges, awesome mozzarella fried sticks, and what I thought was just OUTOFTHISWORLD! Fried Mac n Cheese, yummy, with 3 sauces Marinara, Ranch and an Awesome raspberry chutney sauce. They have lots of Asian infused sauces. the Wife had 10 Buffalo medium, I had 5 Hallelujah(Asian sweet spicy) and 5 Lemon pepper(Super lemony flavor you will pucker). The wings are a step or 2 above the rest of the other places, and much more expensive, but personally I would come back, plus our server was awesome! He let us sample some of the sauces.

WARNING If you don’t read anything else in my review, read THIS and engrave it in your mind: AVOIDFIRE-IN-THE-HOLEATALLCOSTS. To put it succinctly… «One does not simply eat Fire-in-the-Hole wings. Its meat is coated with more than just sauce. There is spice there that does not sleep, and the Great Chili is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and pepper and pain. The very air you breathe is a poisonous fume. Not with ten thousand men could you do this. It is folly.» Yeah, don’t do it if you know what’s good for you. And for the love of god, if you eat it, make sure you thoroughly wash your hands BEFORE you go to the bathroom. Trust me. Anyhoo… MEAT The quality of the Pluckers wings are by far the best and biggest I’ve ever had from one of these chain-types. They must source from a mutant chicken farm or something, these things are big and they are meaty. Don’t think you’ll be able to eat the same amount you’re used to from Wing Stop and Buffalo Wild Wings. I’ve made that mistake before. Their boned wings are huge, and their boneless are even bigger. Really quality white meat that’s juicy and perfectly done. I always get the boneless basket(in an effort to be «healthy») SAUCE They don’t have a ton of sauce flavors, and honestly, they don’t need them. They do the ones they have right. My favorites: 1) Bakers Gold 2) Hallelujah 3) Gold Rush SERVICE The service here is alright, but food takes SO long to come out. It’s that way everywhere at every location — Allen, Plano, Dallas, Austin… it’s all slow. Don’t think you’ll get out there for a quick lunch. FINALNOTE Really. Don’t get Fire-in-the-Hole unless you want pain everywhere.
