I did not like this pawn shop. Went in to sell something and the employees were looking like we were crazy. Not to mention one of them laughed when we told them our asking price for a very high quality item. Too bad I got what I asked for elsewhere and not a third of what I asked. I would never recommended this place if you want to be taken seriously.

Not hugely impressed by this shop. There was an extremely small selection. Except if you’re looking for tools or guns.

This place is a neat place to go if you are looking for weapons. They have a large selection of pistols and long guns for a small pawn shop. The staff is always friendly and the place is clean.

OK, I’ll give you this, I came in a little late in the evening, but honestly I just was looking to see if they had anything of interest so maybe that I might return the following day. Or even if I saw what I needed, I could have grabbed what I needed right then. I was just looking for a TV to put in an extra room. Nonetheless, as I walk in the door, I am greeted by what only that can be described as sneers and snarls on the faces of the workers there. Not a hi, hello, we are closing soon or anything close. Now I’m ugly, but not ugly enough to elicit the looks on the faces of these people. They had ONE tv in the whole store. One. Fine. It was actually a good price, but out of the range I needed it to be in. I asked«is this the only tv ya got»… short pause… the main guy replies«yeah… it is.» I just responded«you guys must have sold quite a few over the holidays» just in an attempt to small talk… nothing… silence. I looked over to the guy, guess what he was doing… snarling at me. Like he hated me. I overlooked it. Kind of gave the store a look thru, it was empty. Bunch of empty space. Came back around the front, saw a Colt that looked like one my dad had and I asked them about what caliber it was. I swear to god the guys says«I don’t know» I asked how much is it? «it’s part of a personal collection, not for sale». There was a tag on it!!! It was just turned the other way so I couldn’t see the price which is why I asked how much. Look I know I am in there close to close, asking about a gun in the display counter, but you could be a little more cordial. I had some choice words for them after this as I was walking out. I guess they don’t need my business. Writing this review in hopes that someone looking at it might forego these guys and go to the next pawn shop. Hopefully they’ll learn the importance of treatment of potential customers.

i have bought a few electronics from Plano pawn and they are still working great, not only was the price right but condition wise it was up too par. They have a lot of selection of everything and a lot of guns. This is your southern hospitality type of a pawn shop, where the owner is actually there and helping you out. I will go back here again for all my purchase in the future and they have great deals Thank Jake

DOYOURSELF A FAVORANDGOUPTHEROAD. This is by far my LEAST favorite pawn shop ever. I have pawned a few items here over the past two years, multiple times for some, and I have to say that I can’t stand this place. I don’t even like going in there. No one is especially rude, but they aren’t particularly nice either. They also have turned down giving a loan on items that other pawn shops are more than happy to give you $ for. They are just a pain to deal with, almost every time. Even after going there at least 15 times, I still felt like a total stranger to them. It’s also a rather depressing place in general. I recommend Top Cash Pawn up the road at 14th and Jupiter. I DONOT work for them at all, but I am endorsing them WAY over this crummy pawn shop. The guys at Top Cash are MUCH, MUCH nicer to deal with, and they are way more understanding and courteous. I will not be going to plano pawn shop again, ever. NOWAY. AVOIDATALLCOSTS.

This is a unique pawn shop. It houses a bunch of old vintage stuff(coins, stamps, etc) which is kinda neat to look at if you’re not in a hurry. They have a small selection of hand guns and long guns. I’m usually here looking for tools, as I am with most places. Their tool selection is small, but they do have new tools to purchase on aisle 2. They also have a good selection of new gun cases for both long guns and hand guns. For the most part, this is a good pawn shop. They have a website that shows you their inventory for the bigger, more expensive items, so check it out and you can see what they have without even going there. Their selection is fairly small, but occasionally they’ll get something big in, like a toolbox or the like. Since I’ve been going there over the past 10+ years, I feel like their inventory has gone down. I would think in a recession, people would be pawning more, rather than less. I don’t know what to chalk that up to.
