I have been to two other Phở Que Huong locations and loved them. This one not so much. I ordered the large beef phở to-go with extra beef and no onion. When i went to pick up my food it was ready and waiting for me. The lady told me it was a $ 2 extra charge for the extra beef. No problem. When I got home there was no extra beef and onions all over everything. You confirmed I had extra beef, and even charged me for it. Yet you left it off. Im really upset with the poor attention to detail on such a simple item. I will not be returning

This is only the second time I have ventured out of Richardson for phở. I must say that initial impressions were terrible, the dining room and the kitchen(open for all to see so don’t take my word for it) did not seem cared for. In need of a deep clean and a little TLC the atmosphere needed to be overcome if there was any hope for this place. The gentleman was attentive and greeted me as I arrived and I told him I would like to place a to go order. He walked me over to the counter and presented me with a menu to browse. I selected the beef stew adorned with a ‘suggested choice’ symbol and splurged on the big bowl for an extra buck. The soup came in the form of a large container of broth with the meat already inside, noodles in a box, and the usual fresh add ins wrapped in a bag. When I got home and dug in I realized that I had made a huge mistake wandering so far north. The broth was absolutely bland, and was barely warm. Completely void of any heat and yearning for some kind of seasoning this broth is only overshadowed by the ‘beef’. A better descriptor would have been meat. I will give them that it’s meat but I eat a lot of meats and I couldn’t tell you what exactly this was. I ate it and I shared a piece or two of the ‘beef’ with my four legged housemate, and as I write this I just hope that we won’t be paying to high a price for my curiosity.

The Phở is excellent! Broth is hearty and the beef was tender. Service is courteous & friendly. They brought me a water while I waited for my To-go food. Inside is clean and very basic, though the fun Texas-star furniture is a nice touch. The only drawback and why not 5-star is the outside appears a bit sketchy, older and uninviting. Really needs a front makeover. New patrons might pause or pass by. Unilocal led me here. As long as the Phở is great, we’ll keep coming! Yum!

Good food, great portions and quick and friendly service. Huge portions too! Always fresh and reasonably priced. One of my Phở places in Dallas.

Phở is always delicious, but man the Shrimp Spring rolls are awesome, and very good low cal, and low fat food, could not get Samsung Pay to work this time.

Eh. Not great. Phở broth doesn’t have much flavor. Also feel like they skimp on the meat. Feels old and outdated. Pictures of the menu on the wall look like they were printed in 1990, so they’re all faded. They also have a few shelves towards the front door that are just empty, other than some bottles of Hoisin Sauce that expired years ago.

True to their word, my friends(and colleagues) took me out for a redemptive phở experience. We headed slightly east of downtown to a local-to-DFW chain, Phở Que Huong. The restaurant felt like a family-owned joint, simple and basic. We started with spring rolls. They were delicious! I would come back just to have these for lunch. Two sauces came on the side — a chile sauce and a peanut sauce. I tried them both then opted to dunk in sriracha. Yum. I tried a beef phở again, but this time with no egg. This one looked vastly different than my bowl from Dalat. The broth was flavorful and even more so when I added some spice powder. The phở came with a plate of add-ons — jalapeño slices, bean sprouts and basil. Add what you like. How perfect is that? Verdict after Phở #2? I see why people like it. Prepared properly, it’s tasty and satisfying. And not at all salty. Phở Que Huong is on my must-go-to-again list!

Let’s get straight to the point here. The place looks overall dirty and old, and it gives off a bad vibe. It’s almost kinda scary tbh. Walking in I already kinda felt iffy about the food here. The service was okay, not friendly but not rude. The food– at least it was decent! My friend and I ordered Banh Mi. It was pretty okay, but we weren’t sure what took them so long to make it. We ordered chè and please save yourself and don’t get it! The green jelly was not chewy at all, the soybeans were melting and just no. But overall, if we’re talking hungry and convenient, I’ll give them 3 stars.

The food here is great, the service is super quick both for dinning in and take out. I usually get the s2 chicken&shrimp, they put a fair even amount of both into it. I have had the grilled chicken rice and it was pretty tasty and fulfilling as well bc they put lots of chicken onto it. Vietnamese egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls are good. When you order for take out you get all your components of the soup in different containers so you have to put it together at home. It’s $ 1.00 extra for the big bowl but IMO just go for the small because it’s really hard to finish the big bowl.

Walked in to have lunch on a Sunday and was seated and brought a water. No one ever came back to take my order. Only one other table in restaurant. After 12 minutes I got up and left. Normally these chains have good food though.

Beef and brisket noodle soup is delicious. As good as phở can get in my opinion. Vietnamese rolls were also delicious! A must try

Pretty solid Phở and better than most in the area(cough cough Phở Street cough cough). The food is consistently good. We like to split a pork banh mi and have a bowl of phở tai each. Of course you must get the iced coffee with condensed milk! The only better phở I’ve had in the area is Phở Crystal in Allen, but we like Phở Que Hong’s banh mi better.

Omg so highly recommended I love it here my kids eat so well. The food never fails on being amazing. The prices are cheap and portions are big. My family and I go as often as we can. The customer service is great to most Asian restaurants have rude service not this one.

Has become our go-to Plano phở spot. Their broth is done well, beef and chicken taste like they should. We’ve also tried some of their other items like dry noodle/vegetable plates, sandwiches and rice. Everything is pretty good; but we come back for the phở soup.

If you like ramen, then this is the place. Hot, flavorful broth, tender noodles, fresh veggies, and everything else that makes good Phở. I can only coke here when it is cold outside, but thats the only drawback. Cone here for the real deal Phở, if that’s your bag.

Phở Que Huong is basically the McDonald’s of Vietnamese food. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. They do have a decent selection of food and it always comes out quickly.

for what it is, which is a fast food vietnamese lunch, it’s alright. the menu is pretty big, but they didn’t have a lot of the stuff that is on the menu, so i ended up ordering my 3rd choice, which was com tam dac biet(broken rice special). the thit nuong(charbroiled pork) was ok. a little too sinewy for me. egg roll was fine. nuoc mam(fish sauce) was authentic as was the pickled daikon and carrots. thai tea was good. would i go out of my way to eat here again? no, but it was close to my rotation and it’s rare for me to have lunch at a viet restaurant on a weekday, so it wasn’t bad, just not very good.

Another Phở place? What’s the difference? The service is about the same as most but after reading a fellow Unilocalers review(Derrick E.), I wanted to try something other than the regular beef or chicken broth Phở. It was chilly out so I ordered the Spicy Curry Phở. Granted the water here tasted funny and and weird. The Spicy Curry Phở made up for everything. It was that good. The chicken was plentiful and had a natural chunks(not that sliced breast) and the broth was def curry tasting, smelling and spicy! I loved it! I ate it all and licked my bowl. My friend ordered chicken Phở and seemd to be pleased(she was sick) and I even got to try a little bit of the Pad Thai, which just talking about it is making my mouth water. Overall, this is a great mom and pop Phở place that won’t break the bank. I recommend taking in your own water bottle tho. If your in the area, scope them out.

If you are in a phở kind of mood, I do recommend the restaurant’s phở. However, if you are looking for one of their Vietnamese sandwiches, I do not recommend it. The bread comes out hard as a rock, and they put some sort of weird sauce on the bread.

Recently discovered Vietnamese food courtesy of Phở Que Huong. Love this place! I used to order the pad thai chicken, but now I’m hooked on the spicy curry chicken rice noodle soup(order S7). Soooo delish! But I don’t know what the difference is between the small bowl or the large. They seem to be the same size??? Also, I used to order a side of egg rolls, but the old man always seems to forget, so I’ve given up on ordering those.
