Noon– 10pm are the hours listed. Nope. It is 6:28 right now and the building is dark and the«open» sign is off. Won’t be back to try this place even with the 10% coupon for checking in.

Terrible. Yogurt was sour and icy and one bite of the soggy, rotting kiwi was enough for me to throw the entire cup of froyo away. Hubby didn’t want to be wasteful, so attempted to eat it, but gagged off a piece of mango n froyo. Actually, he was the one that ended up trashing it.

Well… I hate to give this place a mediocre review because the lady who runs the place is such a sweetheart, but the froyo isn’t the best. It’s located in the little shopping plaza on McDermott and Independence behind 7 – 11 and is a tad hard to find. I’ve been there twice. The first time I received a coupon and tried it out. They have quite a bit of flavors but I feel like the consistency is so watery, it’s not good. The toppings are pretty decent but they didn’t have as much fresh fruit as I’ve seen at other places. The second time I went, we were in the mood for some fro-yo and it was pretty late. It was almost 10pm, so I called to find out what time they closed, and she said 10pm, but that if we were on the way. she would wait for us. What?! Unheard of! So of course, I told her yes, we will be there soon. We arrived a few minutes after 10 and sure enough, she was there waiting for us. We made our yogurt and she even told us we can sit there and eat it instead of rushing out. We did while we proceeded to clean up. It’s a comfy spot and cute inside. But unfortunately, it was the same thing. Very watery. I don’t know how easy of a fix that is, but I know that if the consistency was better. I’d definitely be a regular here.

I was driving around after school one day and I found that the plaza at McDermott and Independence finally opened up. Next to the Ballet School was this hidden little froyo(frozen yogurt) place called PassionFruit Yogurt! I tried the original tart, blueberry, pomegranate, chocolate… and YELLOWCAKE. This has got to be the best original tart and yellowcake ever! If I remember correctly they have about 10 or 12 flavors, and I think about 30 different toppings? Can’t remember much after the Ghirardelli chocolate syrup already on top of my chocolate froyo! I don’t think I’ve had pomegranate at other froyo places but wow it mixes really well with the blueberry. When I left, the owners gave me one of those stamp cards where you get a free 16 oz yogurt and some discount coupons for future purchase. AND a bag of free popcorn: D You bet I’ll be back. Yellowcake and chocolate won over my tummy. :)
