Dr. Chu performed cataract procedures on both my eyes. My experience at the Plano office and the Greenville Surgery Center was exceptional.
The girls at the Plano office — Tish, Marcy, Amy and Nicki were super helpful, friendly and patient. They explained each procedure clearly before they did it.
At the surgery center, Michele, Michelle, and Fern were so friendly and helpful and I remember Blane (in my fog) as very friendly and helpful.
I felt an instant connection with Dr. Chu when I met her. She was warm, thorough, patient and explained everything about my procedure. She has been blessed with a God given talent, and, has blessed me with a new gift of sight.
I wish Dr. Chu and her staff much success, and, I will help by telling everyone I know affected with poor vision, about this practice. Dr. Chu has profoundly changed my life with new vision.

Dr. Clare Chu, of Newman and Taub Vision Center, was OUTSTANDING from diagnosis through post surgery. Aside from her easy and relaxed demeanor, she is a very skilled surgeon. The day of surgery, she put me at ease and provided attentive after care, as well. She is at 2 locations, this one in Plano and the other one in Dallas. My wife and I both have been seeing Dr. Taub for the past several years after it was determined that we needed cataract surgery and have continued to use their services in both their Plano and Dallas offices. What a great person to do the initial screening when you arrive for an appointment. Her bright and cheerful personality makes you feel as if you are the most important patient of the day. Very very slow. I waited waited 30 minutes after my appointment time. No one hurries here. Most of the patients are geriatric. Overall it’s good doctors but no one hurries.
