This is a no frill type of nail salon. Clean, good and friendly staff. In the past other salons have gone to have charged double what i paid here. I think the service, the pedicure here are just as good if not better from those other more expensive salons. Tony did my pedicure he did a very good job, very thorough and detailed.
They have a limited staff and really take pride in their work. I would recommend this salon good prices.

Basin was filthy. The nail technician sprayed water in it to remove the dead skin floating in it from the previous customer. I asked that she clean the basin then and there. She said that it had already been cleaned. I insisted that she clean it again. I was asked to move to another chair. Umm no! I left only to be followed by a worker to ask if I had returned the nail polish. WTH?

I had a totally different experience than some of the unhappy Unilocalers! Had a basic pedicure ($ 25, deluxe is $ 35) done after grabbing lunch at Baker Bros. with a friend. BOTH our pedis were excellent. The color, shape, length, and overall quality was fantastic.
This definitely isn’t the fanciest place. We were not offered wine or any other beverages. My massage chair was possibly broken.
I definitely would give this place another go, not because it is the fanciest place or because they have the best massage chairs, but because of a really high quality pedi for cheap!
*did not get my beautician’s name. She did not speak any English, only Vietnamese, but she was fantastic!

We just moved from Europe to Plano and I am trying to get familiar with the city. As all women know a good manicure saloon is very important to us. This place was the 3rd one I tried and it made the first two, both of which were mediocre, seemed like first class beauty parlours. This place did not just give me the worst manicure/​pedicure I ever had (and trust me I had them all over the world) they also spilled something on my boots and stained them. When I realized this and went back in, the owner lady first said it was water, then when I insisted it was a kind of chemical, she said «how do I know your boots were not already stained when you walked in here?» I was upset, pissed of and frustrated beyond words!

I am doing my duty as a Unilocaler and warning everyone from this place.
I walked into this place out of desperation to get my nails painted last minute. The lady instructed a 10 year old kid to get my man-​pedi station ready. As I was about to sit down I saw hair and white follicles floating in the water. I got super disgusted and told them to change my chair.
As the lady was doing my nails, she pulled out another tool, and as she pulled it out A LARGE PIECE OF SKIN LANDED ON MY TOE. I guess that piece of skin was sitting in her toolbox and it got caught on the nail tool she was using or she didn’t sanitize her tools IDK. I was so disgusted! out of confusion i knocked it over onto the towel… After a couple mins she noticed it was there and she picked it off the towel and threw it on the floor. I wanted to cry but I was short on time and I needed my nails done… I think I took five showers that day after it happened.

Today was my first time at Nail Citi. I had a great experience and an excellent mani. Ask for Tho (pronounced Cho) she is fantastic.
I would definitely recommend this place.

Took forever and the lady can’t see. Worst gel nails and toes ever. I kind of feel sorry for them so I didn’t leave when the guy cut my other toes skin using the clippers.

Can I give this place a negative star?!? They don’t deserve even one star. I went in with a friend on our lunch break. We walked in together, before another customer. They started on my friend’s nails while I was picking my color. Another customer walked in. She began picking her nail color. I picked one and waited and was asked to sit and wait while they took the other customer! I pointed this out and they had no apology or anything. 40 minutes later, while waiting on my friend, they asked if I still needed a manicure. No way! On top of that it took them an hour and a half to do a full set for my friend. Will NEVER go back. They were very rude with zero customer service skills.

I will definitely not go there again. Me and my mom went here and were in there for three hours!!! Not only did they take there sweet ass time one of the Asian women there was horrible at doing nails. She made the powder way too thick and made one of my moms nails so crooked it looked so bad. And she didn’t even care that she cut me with the drill twice. One week later I am looking at my nails and my thumb nail has a infection. They obviously don’t clean their drills or equipment. Poor excuse for a place and horrible customer service all for 70 bucks… Way to expensive to be cut and get a infection all at once.

So, so bad. Went here for a gel manicure. Started by having my old Shellac soaked off. The technician didn’t completely remove the old polish. When I said something to her, she said it was where my nail was damaged. Ummmm, no. That red polish isn’t nail damage. Said I had something come up, paid for my soak off and left. Not going back!!!
Oh yeah, and their credit card machine was broken. Some poor girl had to leave her DL and walk across the street to an ATM for cash. Ridiculous!
