Amazing service here. I had a family emergency and the waiter was quick to help me so I could leave quickly. The food was amazing. I highly recommend.

Great food… even better margarita’s. Rene, Rosie, Sergio will take great care of you. Try stuffed jalapeños and a top shelf margarita. The best.

This place ain’t bad at all! When I used to work near the area, we would order lunch to-go all the time. Menu is large w/lots of options, great lunch specials and very affordable prices. They always got the order right and were generous with chips and salsa. Not one complaint. The restaurant is big inside and great for large groups. It’s not the best tex-mex you can find in Texas, but it gets the job done and for the right price! They also used to offer a 15% off coupon on the website… that’s always nice!

Met up with a friend here for lunch. Quick service on Sunday @ 1:30 pm. They weren’t «busy», but seemed to have a good table turnover. The service? Excellent! The food? Had the beef Chimichanga, it was a bit soft, maybe left too long under the queso before delivering? The frozen margarita? Excellent! Rice was a bit overcooked. Lots of TV’s, none seemed focused on anything local, but did not ask them to change it. Parking can get tight when strip mall is busy.

I give this place a high rating because the waiter was so upbeat and the restaurant was rather cozy. I had a great time there and will definitely go back to explore the menu options.

MexiGo is a good Mexican food joint. It’s clean and the servers and staff are always attentive and friendly. I’m only giving 3 stars because the food is a bit inconsistent from visit to visit. Their chips and salsa are great and always fresh. Their guacamole is delicious and their vegetables are always fresh as well. I used to always order the enchiladas de potosinas which are just enchiladas topped with beef or chicken. A few times it was awesome, other times the meat was tough and chewy. Same with their fajita salad, sometimes I ended up taking the meat out of the salad and just eating the lettuce and vegetables. I’ll continue to eat at MexiGo but I’ll probably stick to the tex-mex basics: quesadillas, basic enchiladas, or nachos.

Awesome place. We just love coming to this restaurant. We are here almost every Friday night. The best margaritas in Plano. The food is also fantastic. Ask for Luis or Sergio when you come in!

We enjoy the food and open atmosphere of Mexi-Go. We have been many times here in Plano. It seems you can always get right in and get a table. Nothing crazy spectacular I would write but that is ok. Food for us over a long period of time has been consistent. My favorite is the tamale dinner with chile con carne sauce. Very satisfying, very filling and a decent price. I will go back time and again for it. We have had many of the enchiladas and fajitas and they are all good. They are skimpy on the chips for take out but we are a 3 – 4 basket of chips family, HA! Our only complaint is from a recent visit… and this is a big one for us. We enjoy margaritas. My wife on the rocks and me frozen. Happy hour prices can get us in the door and keep us there. We went on a Saturday to enjoy happy hour margarita prices. We were so happy they advertised happy hour on a Saturday. Saturday, I know, it’s great. The recent May 2015 Plano Profile magazine has an advertisement for mexi-go on page 72 that says Happy Hour everyday 3 – 7. Well, our server said no, that is not true. After a 10 second staring contest with the server he wouldn’t budge. We were very disappointed. We never talked to a manager, probably should have but we didn’t. Ordered a couple house margaritas anyway. Mine(frozen) was good, I’ve had it before and I will get it again. Tasted great and relaxed me. My wife had hers on the rocks and complained to me it was too sweet for her taste and after an 18 oz drink maybe lacked the punch that mine had. Maybe opt for the patron margarita they offer if you don’t like them so sweet. I was tempted to get the patron frozen but was still a bit upset about not getting my great happy hour deal. We will go back, it is a good establishment with good food that has been in our area for a long time. Fun fact: I started eating at this corner restaurant at the coit and arapaho location back in the day… long long time ago. I am not sure if that location is still there or not.

This was such a fun environment to be apart of. We came in when it was pretty busy but the food was still served delicious and warm. The only real complaint I have with this place is we came in during happy hour and I didnt notice till later that we got charged full price for our margarita which is around $ 13 ouch… but that was my mistake again seeing we were enjoying the environment so much. Overall good experience, food felt more traditional(huge bonus) and not weird tex-mex taste. Would highly recommend. :)

We have been coming here for 7 years and this past year the food has made a dramatic improvement, from just your average Mexican restaurant to this flavorful experience! Try the El Finito, tender pork and full of flavor or the Shrimp Salad, jumbo fresh shrimp, or one of our favorites is the Pollo Sorpresa, this is a delish-dish! I tried the CocoRita, if you like margaritas and coconut it is perfect!

Usually we like this place but tonight was definitely an exception. Chicken tortilla soup was fairly flavorless. I would not get it again. My wife got the chili queso and it was completely saturated in fat and grease from the ground beef. We sent that back. Two of the wooden chairs were visibly broken. They started cleaning with a very strong cleaning chemical while we were still wrapping up our meal. This was the final straw. Overall, the experience feels like what one would expect if going to an establishment that was on the decline or failing.

I’ve only been here for lunch twice, but the food is decent. Large portions. Their tortilla soup is different than I’ve had at most other restaurants. Seems more like chicken noodle soup… without the noodles. Depending on the time(particularly during lunch), the staff may or may not be very attentive. I don’t blame them when it’s swamped, however, as they don’t appear to have a very large staff. They have giant margaritas! I keep turning them down at lunch but, if I keep going, I will relent one of these days…

Honestly, we have a love-hate relationship with Mexigo. We love their food and hate their service. We’ve been forgotten more than once, had to flag down wait staff and so on. But the food! So we keep going and Mexigo stays one of our favorite local Tex-Mex restaurants. We just go expecting to have slow service and don’t stress about it. And that, my friends, makes for a good meal experience every time.

I am soooo far behind in posting my reviews, so here we go, finally ! A good friend recently moved into his townhouse nearby. We decided to check out the restaurants in the Spring Creek/Coit area and stumbled across Mexi-Go. Very happy we did. It’s located in a strip center and doesn’t look like much from the outside, but walking in we were pleasantly surprised at the casual, but nice décor and layout of the space. Most friendly greeting and seated promptly. Our server, Sergio, was there immediately with fresh chips and salsa, which were quite good, considering my expectations for wafer thin, oily, salty warm chips. They were good, not the very best I favor at other spots, but definitely a close second. Thick, chunky well seasoned salsa. Off to a good start. We decided to indulge in a jumbo TS Margarita, and boy did Mexi-Go deliver. This one joined the ranks of my list of favorite golden colored libations, over the top delicious and went down oh so smooth. I’ll be back just for one of these marvelous creations! We ordered the El Sampler which included a large platter of cheese quesadillas, nachos, stuffed jalapeños, & flautas. It was served with a fairly nice dollop of guacamole, sour cream & pico de gallo. Very tasty, fresh and more than enough for two which satisfied our rumbling tummies. Also helped to justify the absorption of the generous amount of tequilla and Grand Marnier in that amazing margarita. Service was a strong 5; couldn’t have been better. Sergio was attentive and checked on us the appropriate amount of time. The restaurant was not too busy on a Sunday afternoon, but a few folks began wandering in as we were leaving. Very reasonable pricing; huge TS margs were $ 9 and the sampler platter was $ 10.99. They atmosphere was very comfortable, nothing fancy, but relaxing and the kind of spot one feels at home real quick. Yes, when back up in his part of the world, I will go back. Smelled some sizzling fajitas pass by the table, enticing me to be sure and experience real soon !!!
