I started to receive text messages and emails from MetroPCS telling me they’re shutting down the CDMA network, and that I had to upgrade my rather expensive, in perfect condition Galaxy S3 to the GSM network. Returning to the store where I bought the phone in the first place was the best move. The two ladies working that day were extremely knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions. Although I’m tech savvy enough to backup contacts and content, they made sure to ask for each phone if I needed anything backed up. Everything was clearly explained and I walked out the door happy with my new Galaxy G5 which, I hope, will last a few years longer than the G3 did. If you’re in need of an upgrade, or even new MetroPCS service, to pay your bill, or ask any questions, I’d highly recommend you stop by this particular store. *Tip — Although the store’s address is Parker Rd, it’s actually facing Custer.
