My husband and I really enjoy going to Little Gus. It has the feeling of a classic diner, simple and family operated, but always clean. The wait staff are very helpful, balancing friendliness and professionalism very well. We generally go for breakfast, but have ordered items off the lunch menu as well. The food is prepared and delivered quickly. Items are priced reasonably — although the menu ranges on the high side of the $ 1 range — most items are $ 9.99 or a couple dollars more. And for those who judge a breakfast place on their coffee, this one holds up. It’s just coffee, but it’s brewed properly and tastes good. We will go back to Little Gus frequently.

Good food and very attentive service. The menu was an interesting mix of Lebanese and southern(like REAL southern… Liver and onions southern). We got the chicken fried steak and eggs. It was pretty good. My poached eggs came in a cup and were a little watery but overall it was good. It’s a little out of my way but if I’m in the area I’ll probably go back.

I have been going here for a couple years now, for breakfast, with my husband and daughter. The pricing is good for the portion size, no complaints there. And your order comes out fast and the food taste good, especially the hash browns. The waitress’ have gotten our orders wrong a few times. I checked the ticket and noticed they didn’t write it down correctly to begin with, so I am a little disappointed with that. But otherwise a good place for breakfast. The staff is always friendly too.

My favorite breakfast place. The eggs with gyro meat is the best, and I recommend getting it with their homemade english muffins(fantastic). The place is mega crowded on weekend mornings, so be prepared for a bit of a wait to get seated, but it is worth it. I haven only been once for lunch, and the gyro sandwich with fries was very good, but the breakfast version is unbeatable. They are only open for breakfast and lunch.

Good food. Everything is pretty good there. Only, they could definitely use a bigger building. Also, they could definitely upgrade there dining space and kitchen. They could also have better service in waiting and cooking. Their bathrooms could totally use a clean. Everything in the bathrooms are low quality and could go bigger.

Regular visitor here but the prices seem to increase every time I go there! We will be taking this off our venue list.

Great breakfast selection. Lightning fast service. The gyro & eggs with fresh tomatoes feta and cucumber yogurt sauce… unique and phenomenally good.

I would have given it a higher rating if the place was bigger and not so loud. Beyond that, the food was awesomely delicious, the cherry pie waffles(holy moly!) and the wait staff was really professionally. I will be back but really would like to see this place get more room. Hence the 4 stars

Pricey for lesser than average quality food. So disappointing. You know that picture of the club sandwich? Deceiving. I thought oh ya that looks good! So I ordered that and an egg sandwich with a couple diet cokes to-go. $ 25+. Are you kidding me?! And for lack of a better term, the inside is rundown and crappy. I guess that old diner look is what they are going for but carpet?! In a restaurant?! Never. I won’t be coming back. Waffle House is cuter than that.

Not impressed. How it ever got 5 stars is beyond me. This not a five star restaurant. The fries would be good but they are badly undercooked. The cooks need to squeeze the excess water out of the sauerkraut before serving. It looks pretty but the rye bread is so soaked underneath you have to use a fork to eat the Reuben sandwich. That’s not a sandwich. The taste was off too. As long as they have been in business next to a reputable business(central market). One would think they would have elevated the scale to be an awesome Greek/American restaurant. This place needs to step it up. The wait service is really bad. The bathroom is nice and clean. It has a place for moms to change the baby if needed. That’s worth a shout out!

I love the corn beef Reuben, the lentil soup, and the gyro to die for… Breakfast potatoes are like the ones they serve in a New York diner. All the ladies are very nice. There is also Lebanese food. So many different thing to try

We have been here several times over a long period of time. Too much competition in Plano to get there more often but a great place for breakfast and lunch in the neighborhood. Cheerful and friendly wait staff.

Location truly is everything for 99% of restaurants and I believe it’s double true for this one. The higher socioeconomic neighborhoods surrounding this oddly shaped corner breakfast and lunch place will continue to support its inflated prices and it’s the breakfast crowd that is better served by their menu options. $ 8 for half a grilled cheese and a cup of soup. $ 2.50 for a 12 ounce mug of milk. $ 2 for a cup of coffee that I had to ask for cream and sweetener for and no refills were offered. IF I return anytime soon, it will only be for the amazing breakfast omelette options.

Gyro pita was delicious. The gyro meat was flavorful and served hot and juicy. I really liked the grilled pita bread – it was crispy all around in the outside with just enough soft chewy bread left. The cucumber sauce was decent. The greens, tomatoes, and onions were fresh and the quantity was a good balance with the ample gyro meat. Would come back here for this again Future visits I would like to try: Kafta meat pita Cabbage roll

I thought I had written a review the first time we went, but I didn’t. We’ve now been here 3 times in about 6 weeks. I can’t seem to bring myself to try something new because I’m hooked on the Pecan Waffle! Not too sweet, it’s light and fluffy and soooo delicious. We also get the pan fried potatoes-wow! Very flavorful and better than the frozen hash browns you get at most restaurants. To top it all off, the service is impeccable! The servers have great personalities and and are quick! Gus is always there with a smile and welcomes every guest. I wish I had found this place a long time ago!

This is a STRONGTWO. 2.5 or whatever you want to classify it as. I ordered a gingerbread waffle with strawberries, eggs, sausage and ham. My friend ordered a veggie omlette with toast. My friends omlette came cold. I Things like this happen, but its worth mentioning. It came back like it should, but it didnt really hit the spot. My friend thinks the turkey was too gamey, but I thought it was nice and moist. The roasted vegetables inside were nice, but had little flavor. They forgot to put avocados in the omlette, but we decided to say nothing. My gingerbread waffle was soft. I thought it was going to be crispy. Boo. It also didnt have much flavor. The strawberries were fresh though. My sausage and bacon were pretty damn good, but the eggs were oily. They give you a good amount of bacon here. All what I ate came out to 13 dollars. Sigh. The atmosphere is definitely a dive. There can be some charm in it, if the food was better. I would only eat here again if someone insisted I go and pay for my meal. Even then, why not just go somewhere else?

Little Gus café… always a warm smile at the door, consistently good food, and always the right price. This restaurant is definitely kid friendly, good for smaller groups, or even the individual wanting a good breakfast or lunch. The staff is always warm and inviting, the food is delivered promptly, and is exactly what you would want from a small homestyle restaurant. Might go to breakfast is the super scrambled which I add diced onions and a side of jalapeño slices. My kids get the pancakes and egg and a banana on the side. when I recommend this restaurant to anyone else, hell yes.
