Awful! Never come here!!! Sorry if you like this place but, BIG waste of money!!! Trust me never come here! Go somewhere else. You can buy a nicer breakfast.

The big deal with the Kolache Factory is the fillings. So many fillings — seriously. But otherwise, these are honestly not my favorite kolaches. They taste like basic yeast rolls stuffed with stuff. More like a German bierock than a kolache, which should be yeasty and tender. So anyway, these are fine but don’t fit what I envision when I want a kolache.

It hurts me to leave a mediocre review, but there’s no way around bland blah buns. The egg and cheese kolache was a sad bun filled with insipid powdered eggs and there was no signs of cheese in it. The jalapeño popper was just a hot mess of goop with no detectable distinct jalapeño flavor. I’d skip it unless you have no options.

Fabulous little breakfast joint, cozy dining room and convenient drive thru. Creative kolaches served heated up are mouthwatering and dense. Staff is friendly and always gets my order right. I go here as often as my budget allows! Very reasonably priced.

If you know what you’re getting, it’s sooooo gooooood. I’ve had a variety dozen and some of them I didn’t like so much, and some I loved! I love the sausage ones and the ones without eggs(because the egg ones have like two slivers of meat in it and I love meat. They’re not bad, I just really like meat haha) The bread is SUPER soft and buttery, and just amazing. If they were not out of my way and maybe cost a LITTLE cheaper, I’d definitely be going there a lot more. :)

An excellent breakfast for an excellent price. Whether your in a mood for a hearty, savory, or a sweet kolache this place has plenty of good variety for all. Also, you would be hard pressed to beat their breakfast kolache and coffee combo for under $ 4. It is definitely worth stopping if you are on your way anywhere in the morning and needing something quick to eat. My personal recommendations: the fruit kolaches or the ranchero one.

Had driven past this place several times and finally stopped for brunch. I used to live in the Czech Republic and was very fond of their kolachky. These aren’t exactly those, but pretty darn tasty so I won’t turn my nose up at them for not being«authentic.» They’re really good«things that Texans call Kolaches.» I had the jalapeño popper and Italian chicken. Dough was tasty and it was generously filled. All for a good price. Not bad.

I pass this place all the time and didn’t think about going in until I read some of the reviews. I am so glad there’s another good place to eat when I want something different. I tried the chicken enchilada, Italian chicken, and the sausage, egg and cheese kolache. All three were delicious. My favorite is the chicken enchilada because it’s a little spicy. The spice isn’t «burn your mouth» spicy. It’s just enough to add flavor. The restaurant was clean, I was very pleased with the customer service, and the price was right. The chicken enchilada and Italian chicken were $ 1.99 each, and the sausage, egg and cheese was $ 2.59. I only ate two, because they’re filling. I ate the first two so fast I didn’t take pictures. I took a photo, however, of the Italian chicken kolache I ate later at home. I think if you’re in the area you should definitely visit this restaurant.

It was my turn to bring in some goodies for our weekly ritual at the office. Well, I decided to do something different… I was just simply tired of Donuts. By luck, I found this place that offered me the alternative. The selections are plenty, and tasty. Note: This place has a few selections for us, the Vegetarians. Note: This place has good coffee too!(Katz Coffee) I think that our weekly ritual has gotten another option since these Kolaches were a great hit at the office. I highly recommend this place!!! :)

This place has become my morning addiction. Not only is the food delicious, but the customer service is amazing.(It also does not help that Kolache Factory is on my way to work) I have come through the drive through and sat inside, and all experiences have never disappointed. GLORIA has been the sweetest and most amazing person who works there! She was caring and extremely inviting my first time there.(And I am one of those annoying people who tends to ask a lot of questions my first time at places.) Every time I go back she is there smiling and helpful. Definitely one of the reasons I go back! Now, when it comes to the food, I love almost all the kolaches. My favorite is the jalapeño popper. Then I always love the sausage and gravy or the philly cheesesteak one. One that is really good, but can be a hit or miss on flavor would be the potatoes, eggs, and cheese one.(it is good but sometimes this one is missing the kick of flavor). I hope my review helps.

Nice place, love the food. Like the enchilada chicken, Italian chicken, jalapeño cheese. They shld put some spices in egg & cheese it’s too bland. Not a coffee addict but love the coffee here regular, pecan, seasonal(caramel). I really hope they were open late

4 stars for the kolaches, the sausage and cheese & Philly cheesesteak kolaches tasted great. 1 star for the employees, there to take our money not for customer satisfaction. They had a 3 for 3 promotion going on. We unknowingly ordered 6 kolaches, and paid full price for them. The gentlemen behind us in line brought up the promotion and we went back and inquired about it. Pretty straightforward; text your email to them and buy 3 get 3 free. We asked our cashier why he didn’t bring it up, and he mumbled something under his breath and ultimately mustered«oh I forgot». They could have resolved the issue by simply refunding half of our payment, or giving us 3 more free kolaches, but instead they told us to «come back and buy more tomorrow» with no explanation as to why they couldn’t fulfill our request, before retreating back into the kitchen. Needless to say, I won’t be back tomorrow.

I’ll have to come back and try something other than the #1 combo(2 sausage kolaches and a coffee). The food was decent but the I had no idea it was a chain restaurant. It had an overwhelmingly chain feel to it, which isn’t bad but all of the tables were dirty. I do like how they have drive thru. I would return for a quick snack on driving around town, but this isn’t where I would take people who are wanting to try Kolaches for the first time.

Came here today to meet up with a couple of friends for breakfast. They weren’t too busy. Lots of people getting food to go… maybe to serve mom in bed… since its Mother’s Day! We came in and ordered about 4 different kinds, two of each, along with a coffee and a smoothie. Noticed they have this SpotOn card and signed up for that.(every time you visit you earn points for free stuff) so we paid and he boxed up our food and we sat down. He was supposed to make our drinks but got a little side tracked with another customer. Since we weren’t in a hurry we waited til he was done and reminded him nicely about our drinks. He apologized and made them asap. He gave us sticky buns for having to wait because he had forgotten. No worries, we got our drinks. Met up with friends talked a bit and headed out with left overs for a quick breakfast tomorrow. Good visit with good food and service. I used the restroom while we were there, it’s clean, but the toilet is a little tricky gotta flush a couple of times to get toilet paper down… lol…thank goodness it was a number one and not a number two bahahaha!

Lots of options. I ordered a dozen with 9 or 10 different fillings for around $ 25. The guy who took my order was friendly, but he put 3 kolaches in the box that I didn’t order — not a big deal as I wanted to try different kinds and had not visited before. Signed up for the reward card and earned a free coffee on the spot. I endorse: the jalapeño popper, chicken enchilada, sausage & gravy… and probably the Italian chicken(didn’t get to try the IC due to the mix up but I suspect it is good). You can ask them to heat up part or all of a to-go order, and they have a drive-thru. I like.

I stopped by the Kolache Factory on my way to work to pick up some Kolaches for co-workers. I have been here before but never bought in bulk(dozen or more). Upon entering the establishment, they have a board with the listing of the kolaches and their prices placed above the numerous rows of their various flavors/fillings of finished kolaches. On the board was a «Kolache of the Month» listed of which the price was $ 1.95. It did not say what the Kolache of the Month was, so upon asking the cashier pointed to a picture of it on the counter. On the picture on the counter, their was also a price of $ 2.59 in small print at the bottom. I told the cashier I would be ordering about a dozen. I asked if the price on the board for the Kolache of the Month was the correct price. He said that actually since I was ordering a dozen, the price would be probably less because I get a discount for a dozen purchase. I guess I didn’t ask the right questions. I ordered 7 of the Kolache of the Month(expecting to pay the price on the board $ 1.95/ea), 4 Ham and Cheese($ 1.69/ea), and 1 Sausage/Cheese/Jalapeño($ 1.89/ea) and a large coffee(got to have some coffee with kolaches). The total came to $ 26.54 including tax. The cashier went off to get my order ready while I pondered the total(expecting less from what I added up in my mind). I glanced at the receipt and the total charge for the Kolache of the Month was not $ 1.95 like was posted on the board but rather I was charged the full amount of $ 2.59/kolache. I inquired why the price I paid was not was posted on the board, and the cashier stated«Oh, we have to tell people why all the time. The owner can’t change the board because the Kolache of the Month changes every month.» SAYWHAT! That makes no sense at all. I asked to speak to a manager. Another employee came and when I inquired once again why I wasn’t paying the price on the board, she said the same thing. I asked who the owner was. She told me «Peter is the owner.» I advised her that it was deceptive trade practices by putting a price on the board and telling people after they pay that the price is actually different. I also advised her that he can just take the price down and put up a «?» or not even advertise the Kolache of the Month since there really wasn’t a special on it. Realizing I wasn’t getting anywhere with this employee and the«owner» wasn’t going to talk to me, I left with the kolaches I had purchased. Upon getting to work, I tried one of the ham and cheese kolaches. Oh gosh — no, no, no. There was no cheese inside it. Other co-workers said their ham and cheese also had no cheese. There was only bits of dried, chopped-up ham inside of it. See picture taken. This was not a good experience. I won’t be going back to Kolache Factory. There are other donut places that have better Kolaches than this place.

I found this place on Unilocal and figured I’d give them a try. While I am no kolache connoisseur, they were definitely pretty good, albeit they cost a little more than expected. I paid $ 8 for 2 sausage and gravy kolaches, 1 chicken enchilada kolache and a small orange juice. Overall, the kolaches were stuffed with a generous amount of filling. Both were good, with the chicken enchilada being mildly spicy. I would recommend giving them a try if it’s on your way to work or class. However, while they were good and tasty, I can’t help but feel like there is a ‘wow’ factor missing. All the criterion were met for a good kolache, but the outside didn’t taste the freshest it could be, and the stuffing tasted just ‘ok’, even though there was a lot of if. I’m sure they’ll taste better if I go earlier in the morning, so I’ll definitely give them another try, but for now, 3⁄5 with potential.

Holy smokes they have a Kolache Factory in Dallas! My first experience was in Houston and I fell in love. I love kolaches! I prefer the dough here better than the Little Czech Bakery(between Waco & Hillsboro). I didn’t see much at this particular location, but normally they have fruit, sausage, ham & cheese, sausage, spinach, bacon, cream cheese, sausage & gravy, bbq, pepperoni & mushroom, Polish Hot, Texas Hot, Italian Chicken, chorizo & egg, Philly Cheesesteak, chicken enchilada, chipotle chicken, jalapeño ham & cheese, etc. My fav so far is the jalapeño popper(cream cheese, jalapenos, & bacon). YUM! YUM! YUM! I like anything spicy and they sure have a lot of spicy options. My other favs are the sausage & gravy, chicken enchilada, and Texas Hot. When I went into this particular location the smell of cleaning detergent was so overwhelming I couldn’t smell the kolaches too well. Hopefully, it’s not a common occurrence. Will definitely be back!
