Love extra innings! Quality practice facility and instructors! Wonderful indoor facility to improve baseball and softball skills for teams and individuals.

I took my grandkids to Extra Innings to practice hitting balls from a batting machine. The staff was quick to take payment, but wasn’t helpful in helping us setup or how to use the equipment. They assigned us a lane with a machine, but were very slow to come and help us setup. By the time we got started, half of our time was up. Many of the lanes were open so not sure why they took so long. I also felt that the ½ hour price was too expensive. The place was clean and close to our house, but I will try another place before going back. G.V.

Facility was great. I was disappointed in the inability to rent out a lane where we could actually hit balls, as there was a «demo» going on and all the batting lanes were apparently rented. Where I become severely disappointed is the fact those lanes sat empty during the thirty minutes we were there and when we attempted to ask if we could participate in the demo so we could hit balls, we were ignored, outright ignored by the staff. It was bizarre and better planning on our part would have made for a better experience I am sure, but the reason we went was because my 9 year old nephews baseball game was cancelled due to lightening and we had to be indoors. I was attempting to fill baseball time for a child with actual baseball and this place was not friendly or compassionate towards that. Extremely disappointed.

My kids have practiced/had lessons at several softball/baseball facilities all around North Collin County. We enjoy Extra Innings for several reasons — clean facilities, great temperature control during both Winter and Summer seasons, great instructional lessons, great opportunities to learn with and practice with the Dallas Charge, great package deals for lessons, large batting cages for team hitting practice, great opportunities for camps, and many more… We’re very happy with keep Extra Innings as our go-to place for camps/lessons/practices.

The location was terrible for Soccer Tots. They practiced in an area between two batting cages. the area was separated by cloth nets and the kids would chase the ball into the net! I was terrified one of those baseballs would hit my child. The kids would run into the back of the cages where the nets were not tied off. This is an accident waiting to happen.

On my first visit, I used a Groupon discount and it went well. Me and my kids enjoyed taking turns batting and feeding the pitching machine. Lots of other people there working on various baseball skills. I’d recommend to others needing extra batting practice between games.

I’m sure the facility is nice and might be good for team use but I’m just a guy who would like to pay for 40 or 50 pitches on a softball slow pitch machine. I’m used to 6 or 7 bucks and go home to return another day. I’m not willing to pay $ 25.00 for half an hour. Too rich for my blood.

My daughter partakes in the Soccertots program and its awesome! She loves it. We tried their other center they use in Dallas and it was a sauna in the summer. Here the a/c works great so the kids aren’t sweating. I recommend this program here to anyone!

Great batting cages. We came with our kids baseball team for batting practice. It was a great way to do it since you pay for an hour, and a straight hour of hitting would be exhausting. They also had«soccer tots» going on which looked really great. They have a store as well. And you can’t beat being inside in the Texas summer!
