I purchased a coolsculpting living social deal. I went in yesterday to get my arms done. It’s very easy to find, it’s the first door on the left when you walk in the building. I was greeted with a basic hello and was promptly seen by my very nice technician. I told her I had done the procedure before but on my legs. I told her I wanted my arms done. She circled the area and got my pictures taken. As we walked to another room to get my pics taken, I noticed the offices and break room was disgusting. Papers and things and even trash was everywhere. Not a great way to keep a med spa. Here’s why I’d give this place a 3 star and not any higher; the tech was very personable and even told me her own coolsculpting story. She told me my arm would fall asleep and it would suck but I wouldn’t be able to do anything about it. Hmmmm, well I have never read anywhere online that this happens when you get your arms done. My arms did fall asleep and it was extremely uncomfortable. Now this really is not her fault I get that but I read on a blog after my procedure that you are supposed to have a stress ball to make sure your circulation doesn’t stop. So maybe they should take on this practice when doing arms. The other thing that annoyed me was the magazines that were left for me to look at were from 2012 and 2013. I feel like that’s a big detail to leave out of a customers experience since I have to sit for an hour in one spot and amuse myself. The most annoying thing was this; at the half way point on my right arm, my arm hurt as in the nerves felt shocked and my arm turned purple. I asked the lady to take off the suction cup so I can gain some circulation back. She never warned me that I’d have to pay more money since I stopped the«cycle». She did it, and put the clamp back on. Then she tells me «oh no I had to start a new cycle». I asked her«what does that mean?». She said«money». I looked at her and said«Well that stinks but my arm was purple.» I never once thought she meant I’d have to pay more money. Well after my 30 more minutes, she came in the room, got me situated to get ready to go and she says I’d have to pay $ 350 more since I stopped the cycle. I was shocked. I qpolitely told her that makes no sense since I had no idea that was on me to pay for, she gave me no advance warning and they can’t put that on me and also my arm was purple and I was in pain so what else could anyone have done besides let my circulation come back. She could tell I’m sure I was frustrated and then told me not to worry and she’ll take care of if with her manager. I wasn’t asked to pay more at the front desk but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Even though the place is not high class and a little unprofessional I actually would of gone back to get another coolsculpting done since I did like the girl but they just lost my business by reacting the way they did about my arm losing circulation. There is plenty of competition in the Dallas area for coolsculpting and they should be very aware of that and treat their customers better.

Today was the first time I tried a microdermabrasion session. I purchased this on a Groupon. I wasn’t sure what to expect. The staff was very friendly and answered my questions. Danielle gave me some recommendations for skin care. Overall it was a good experience. I would definitely do this again.

I went to this spa for a microdermabrasion using a groupon or living social deal(can’t remember which). This place is inside a medical center building, the decoration is like a hospital room, cold and uninviting. The room was cold and no decorations, i felt like i was on a hospital bed, no candles, soft music, … The treatment was only 30 minutes long and it was not good. There was no neck and hand massage like other spas i have been too. I would never come back to this place. It was a total waste of my time and money. Would not recommend to anyone. I would not give it any star but Unilocal forcing me to give a rating. It would deserve no stars.
