Service is always fast and I love their taco salad. Really like the chips and sauce too. My husband got the beef enchiladas and said they were okay.

I’ve been coming here for at least 10 years. They are consistent and I’ve never gotten sick from anything here. The have the best sour cream enchiladas, you can taste the sour cream and the don’t skimp on the cheese. They use the good cheese, NOT the kind that sticks to your teeth. Their fajita meet is seasoned perfectly and their rice and beans are probably the only rice and beans I ever finish. I thought they had closed when I saw the Cowboy place open up, but they just took over the front. El Paso is in the back now.

I gave this two stars based solely on the food because it was hot and fresh. Everything else about this place was a poor experience. Upon entering there was a noticeable odor that the restaurant tried to cover up with candles and air freshener. The first five menus that they brought to us were filthy with dried salsa and food on all five of them. The service was very poor. We had several different waiters and two of them(there were four total) said they would take our order then disappeared. When we did give them our order they were out of Chile Relleno. Our dinner took longer than any Tex-Mex or Mexican place I’ve ever visited. I would not recommend this restaurant.

From the outside this place doesn’t look like much, but do NOT let that fool you. The food was above average as was the service. And it’s cuter inside than out. Went there at 4 p.m. in the afternoon expecting to be the only ones there… but I was wrong. Obviously this little place is getting a well deserved reputation for having great ritas and tasty food. My daughter kept insisting she was NOT hungry, it was way too early for her eat, but I was starving. We ordered a couple of their specialty platters. Mine had a sour cream chicken enchilada, cheese chili relleno, and beef enchilada. Hers had two tamales, cheese enchilada, and cheese taco. Of course rice and beans were involved. I’d go through all the menu items and describe how good they were but we’d be here all day, you’d get bored of reading and start skimming, so I’ll hit the high points. They use a great combo of cheeses that make you think comfort food. I really liked the cheese taco and cheese enchiladas. They reminded me of Ojeda’s. The chili relleno was the stand out. It was long crispy, not the fluffy egg batter that grosses me out. The sauce was a tomato based and full of veggies. I love this sauce. And the chili is amazing, lots of chili powder making it that dark red brown that I LOVE. Tamales were also really good. Needless to say both I and«little miss I’m not hungry» made clean plates in record time. I’m gonna say this is probably one of the best little standard Tex-Mex places in town for the price. Both of those platters came in at $ 8.95. Lunch specials started at $ 4.95. In a world of trendy Tex-Mex establishments who charge $ 12.95 for combo dinner plates it was really nice to find a place that has the standards so well covered for such a reasonable amount. I live in Dallas and will make an opportunity to drive back up and grab dinner! Note they do have a bogo coupon in the Passbook.
