This review is for the men’s shoe department. Stop being racist. The world has changed. The only reason we didn’t report the attendant to the manager is because we have better things to do than waste our time on rude people with anachronistic views about the world. Writing the review so people know better than to come here. Go to Macy’s instead.

This location is closing, and it’s a madhouse inside what is left of this store. Sales are good at 50% — 65% off of what are already clearance prices(i.e. $ 65 pants for $ 4.99), but you have to really be a hardcore sales shopper to endure the craziness. Store should be closing by January 18th, so hurry out here if you want an unbeatable deal in an atmosphere reminiscent of the Battle of Troy.

First I got scolded for«disrespecting a belt»(true statement) bc I hooked it through a box and used it to pull the pile of shams and clothes and shoes I had, not like all fitting rooms are open and you can try on as you go along, nor were any other accommodations made. Kinda hard to juggle all the junk and dig through the cluster clutter that is in Dillard’s. Second I got told by an associate that the manager doesn’t want me to use the box to haul my load, but since it’s full, this authoritative associate would go ahead and let me do it this once. I called the mgr, asked if we have a problem, to which she said«no I’ve never seen you, not sure why the other associate would tell you that.» Then I go to check out, a purse has half the tag ripped off and $ 98.00 is hand written on it. I said isn’t it half price off that? They’re like«no no this purse is $ 198 original price, Cindy has been in purses for 20 years, she knows her prices» well the kicker isI pulled up on my phone and there was that purse just different color for $ 88…FULLRETAIL. The same manager gets called and says no that’s an entirely different bag, and even if it was the same, prices on line vary from prices in store. REALLY??? Even one that’s going out of business where nothing is held back??? The woman at the register was an egotistic bitch! So much attitude and crass, I just wanted to throw my pile of clothes and shoes at her and tell her where to go. Awful customer service. No wonder they’re closing that location! After going there a couple times and getting that treatment, I’d switch locations too. Goodness!

This location is closing down, so this review may be a little pointless, but what the hey. I’ve never liked coming to this location but give it a chance every now and then since I do like the Stonebriar Centre store. I’ve always left empty-handed because of the large selection of nothingness. A friend told me they were closing their doors in January and everything was deeply discounted. I decided that checking it out was worth a shot. I was wrong. First, the store looked like a tornado had just touched down. It was so bad, there were tons of racks that had random articles of clothing. so if you were looking for a specific size, you’re pretty much out of luck as it could have been anywhere in the store. Nothing was in order. I was greeted by a giant sign that said that nothing was held back from this closing sale, everything had to go. As I rummaged through the hot mess of a store, I managed to find 2 dresses and a pair of jeans that I liked. I went to ask the cashier how much they were after all the discounts. 1 dress didn’t have a tag so she told me that I needed to look through all the racks to find the same dress that had a price tag. Um, no thanks. put that one back. The other dress was still super pricey even after the 70% off. Wasn’t even a name brand. Not cute. Then the jeans, I was told was still full price. Of course, I brought up the sign that was staring everyone in the face saying nothing was held back. She got really argumentative and hostile, and I said forget it. With that being said. I’m glad they are closing. About time!
