ASOF2÷5÷2016, THISPLACEISCLOSED. THEREIS A FORLEASESIGNINTHEWINDOW. Bummer it closed, I thought it was pretty good. The food and service was impeccable, Harry is a fantastic bartender. But, I saw the ominous warning signs of impending closure. The re-branding and inconsistent hours were the beginning of the end. Dee never advertised her amazing brunch, should have been large type on the awning. «SUNDAYBRUNCH10−3». In-store advertising isn’t enough. I had Sunday brunch there once and loved it, so I convinced a bunch of my friend to go and when we got there it was closed! Also, I’d go in late at night and there would only be people at the bar while the rest of the restaurant was empty. So, that means you should EXPAND the bar area. I’m not even a restauranteur and I knew that. Too late now. First Nosh tanks at this location and then Dee’s place. NEXT!

I am a big fan of this place. You absolutely have to try the Brussel Sprouts, Prime Eggrolls, Gouda Mac & Cheese. Then, if you are still hungry go for a Filet or Tuna Steak or Blue Cheese Hamburger. To wash it all down make sure you ask for the Slow Burn. AWESOME.

The menu at Dee Lincoln does not include many options, but the items that we tried were good. We tried the avocado fries and street taco appetizers. Our party enjoyed both of them. Members of our group tried the salmon, the classic burger, the filet, and the short rib special. Everyone was satisfied with their meals, and the filet received especially good reviews. We all enjoyed the brussel sprouts and mac and cheese. We will definitely be back to try the new menu once they roll it out.

My wife and I have been going to Dee’s since they opened and we have never had a bad experience with the food, drink or staff. The food is top notch and one of our favorite things is to try the wonderful creations found on their large chalkboard along one wall. On a recent visit we enjoyed the prime rib egg rolls and had the 8oz. filet served with Yukon mashed and sautéed spinach. We have gone to Dee’s enough to get almost everything on the menu, looking for a great burger at a reasonable price, try them during football games when they feature various options for only $ 8! Very good option in Plano for friends and family.

Wonderful service and tasty dishes!!! I enjoyed the bar bites. The chicken egg rolls were fried to a perfect golden brown. They had a creamy taste almost like a chicken salad inside a crispy wonton. I really enjoyed them. I also tried the onion rings which were super crisp… and huge. They pair well with the roumlaude which you have to ask for :) The fried avocado was a bit too thick for my liking. I think if the avocado was cut in thinner strips it would be delightful but it was a little mushy for me. Overall, I’d love to go back and enjoy this place for dinner. Nice ambiance, friendly servers, and tasty bites.

I really like this place. Nice atmosphere and good food. Pricing is comparable to other steak places at same level. Try the lobster mac n cheese, the Brussel sprouts, or the fries, but be sure to get the ribeye– and don’t pass up the dessert menu! Hang out with Harry at the bar. Relaxing place to entertain a client or just have nice dinner for two. You won’t be disappointed.

Dee’s has become a favorite place of mine as I’ve never been disappointed. I can’t remember if I’ve ever had a steak as good as the Prime Ribeye Steak. It is consistently good — no down nights. The first time I went was for lunch and I wasn’t too impressed; dinner, though has been a different experience. Awesome! They serve a drink called«Over the Top» and this place is just that.

The food is pretty good. However I must say over priced for the quality and preparation. The truffle fries & tenderloin street tacos are good. I ordered the filet mignon and requested ‘medium’. Well it came to me medium-well. With some very salty sauce on the side. Service was average. Good point is the drinks are good and mixed well!

Just left with cigar smoke our whole dinner. They booked a party outside one foot from the door.(by the way, against Plano ordinance.) Complained numerous times of trying to eat while smelling cigar smoke. Manager most disrespectful and told us to go ahead and call the police… even handed us a phone! Last time ever! Dee…call me Pathetic

Although the food wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t worth the what the bill totaled. The service wasn’t the worst, but overall it wasn’t worth what we paid. If you’re looking for a great meal with excellent service and are willing to pay, my recommendation is Steve Fields, Capital Grille or similar.

Finally got in. Meh… 3 star food at 5 star price. From top to bottom. 5 water was great. Seriously. Maybe I was just thirsty. But it was the best part of the meal. 4.5 cowboy Burger. .5 deducted for huge bun had to search for burger. But the burger tasted like homemade greatness. 4 waitress was good and nice and cute. But she was not prepared for the dinner rush. Took a while for everything. We beat the rush but we still had to wait a lot. 3.5 filet. Disappointed. When ya throw more than 2 Mr Jacksons on a hunk of beef it better be as good or better than Pappa’s Bros Steak House… Overly salty and small 3.5 lobster Mac n cheese. Great. But not 15 $ great. 1.5 margaritas. We asked for the best. We got 5 parts lime juice. No sweetener and minimal tequila. Gross. Really bad. 1 for inconvenience. We literally went there 4 times previous when the website said it was open and they were not. We went tonight just to get it off the bucket list. Lol P Overall this place is hyped up. Also the location is bad. Surrounded by a barrage of chili’s and blue goose type places but at three times the price. Pass on this place and go to Javier’s or Pappa’s bros if ya want a meal worth a Benjamin… Still hungry too. The portions were small.

I just visited Dee Lincoln’s for my birthday and had a great time and an even better birthday dinner! This is the second time that my husband and I have been there and both times have been AMAZING! The first time we sat at the kitchen bar and enjoyed a «Chef’s choice» 6-course meal that was amazing, and overwhelmingly entertaining! The atmosphere was perfect for the night! This visit was much less food, thank goodness, but we were both in love with our filet with scallops, lobster mac n’ cheese, truffle fries and of course, the chocolate birthday cake TODIEFOR! Our server, Cristy, was so wonderful and made my birthday dinner one to remember. We will be back again SOON! I can’t wait!

Dinner was OK. We had a filet and a special flank steak with shrimp. Both steaks were a bit under done and the shrimp had a thick tasteless breading and no sauce to go with! Sides were OK but not memorable, the bread was dry. I really want them to succeed here in Plano, but they need to step it up.

I’m pretty sad to write this review. I’ve been to Dee Lincoln’s in Plano twice — first time with a foodie MeetUp group, and second time with my wife and mother to celebrate mom’s birthday. The second visit earned my 1 star. Dee Lincoln’s is famous for their Wagyu(America’s answer to Kobe beef) burger. Incredible flavor. Moist, juicy and thick, I considered it my new standard of burger perfection… so when my mom came to town to visit, it was a natural choice for us to go and celebrate her belated birthday. We had reservations at 8 pm, and were promptly seated when we arrived. The restaurant was BUSY, and it took about 20 minutes before we could order our meal. The complimentary bread course didn’t make it’s way to our table until 8:45 — by which time we were starving. The waitress seemed sympathetic to our plight, and offered to comp the appetizers we had ordered(which still hadn’t arrived by that point). 15 minutes later(when the appetizers finally arrived), she apologized again — and comped our meal. I believe in second chances, and this made me pretty happy. The food took another 20 minutes to arrive, by which time my mother was pretty tired. The burger seemed overly greasy this time around though, which was a disappointment. We finished eating at 9:30, and it took another 15 minutes to get our dessert to go and depart. Our waitress was golden. She deserves a medal. Management needs to seriously look at their staffing levels, though, as it turned what should have been a special event into an ordeal to be lived through. Until the service end of the business gets a little more investment in by the management, we won’t be back again.

NOT disappointed! We both ordered the Land and Sea burgers with the crab and hollandaise sauce. I ordered mine medium rare and no bun. It was Delicious! Just perfect. We also had the Brussels Sprouts and they were the best I’ve ever had. I love Brussels sprouts but wow! I would bet even if you don’t like think you like them you will love these. They had bacon bits, Parmesan and were lightly fried and crispy. My husband had the French fries and they were also delish. The service was great and the manager, Jeffrey, stopped by to check on our meals and chat, which is always appreciated. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back. The only thing stopping us from being there every week is the 30 minute drive from McKinney to Plano. Come to McKinney! You’re exactly what we need.

Okay. So I’ve been here 3 times now, once with my boys for lunch and twice with business associates. This was the former location of my all time favorite sushi restaurant, Awaji! Alas, they closed. Never went to nosh but have been to Dee’s previous places and thought we would try this one. So, while my experience with my boys was a 6⁄10 as I didn’t read the menu closely and thought the eggplant parm was an app, not a burger(read: MYFAULTCOMPLETELY) Once I removed the bun, I actually enjoyed it. They should make this an app w/out the bun. It’s really good. Also, the wagyu burger was just okay. My 11 year old burger aficionado was not overwhelmed. I tasted it and agreed. It was not up to par. Seemed too lean actually. As the grandson of a kosher butcher, I’ve eaten some really crazy beef, lamb, veal, «mystery meat» Burgers in my youth. Burgers need a «fattier» meat to be tasty. Its Fat that brings out the flavor. Hence why a NY strip tastes better than a tenderloin(filet) IMO. A little fat adds a little taste. Also why marbled aged beef is far more expensive that leaner grades. The 2nd&3rd times I returned I had one of the best meals I’ve had in any restaurant in the DFW area. For those of you who find prices a bit high, I feel your pain. However, when’s the last time you’ve had a steak at 3forks, Morton’s, Del Friscos… Not cheap. Dee’s is as good and better(imho) and far less pretentious. Ever try asking a waiter at 3 Forks to replace the carb attack side with some spinach? Nope, «sorry, the chef won’t allow it.» Well now, really? 3 forks should remember the credo that the customer is always right. Keep your corn and mashed and give me spinach, broccoli or any green veg. Don’t nickel and dime me. Sorry for wavering. I know this is a review of Dee Lincoln’s…but I just ate at 3f’s last week and it’s fresh in my memory. Back to Dee. 2nd time I ate at the chefs station and Chef Andrew made me the best Tuna stake I’ve ever eaten! I think it was about 10−12oz and was awesome. 3rd time I ordered a porterhouse and delved into what I remember as the best peace of steak I’ve ever eaten. 2 spices, salt and pepper. The rest, the oven and the beef of course. Now, since«most» beef in Dallas’ finest steak houses come from Chicago slaughter houses, you’d expect most steaks at high end places to taste the same. Not so. It’s the amount of spice coupled with the chef and staff’s talents. Chef Andrew blew me away with this steak. It was«delicioso!» Perfectly done(and if it wasn’t, is why they ask you if it’s cooked to your liking…) and very tasty. Had one side(on a low simple carb diet) so tried the Brussels sprouts. Unbelievably tasty but a bit too«calorie big» for me as it has some really tasty spicing topping mixed in such as bacon and cheese… and is fried. This is a side to split with four! All in all, each visit improved. However, having observed the waitstaff(not my servers but at other tables) I think they need a few discussions on smiles, customer focus(always be looking around for the opportunity to service your tables) and not talking to each other…).

3.0 i’m pessimistic that this place will survive given the pricing structure and for the record i never look at price but i am allowed to question value ribeye — a bit fattier than i like to be honest .16oz. i say that 9 was actual meat. $ 39.00 id pay $ 29.00 at the most. i dont care if babies even massage the cow with their own hands — end of the day its not worth the price they charge fries — 100% legit — $ 4.00 onion rings — 100% legit — i think $ 4.00 as well kale caesar — 100% legit but honestly i wish they had a side portion vs charging for a full order — or at least present that option — $ 10 i believe but not 100% sure

I wanted to like you Dee, but I just CAN’T! It was hard to come here after my love of Nosh, but the Plano-ites kept boasting about D. L…they were so off. Positives –GREAT drinks –Nomerific fries Meh Factor –Don’t ask how you want our meat cooked if you are just going to cook it however you want which was way the hell over –Uenthusiastic wait staff and hosting staff, as we were leaving they were too interested in their conversation to see us out. I normally don’t care, but I am paying $ 20 for a burger! Honestly, this place is all talk and not much else. I’ll be surprised if they make it through the year.

I am more of a fan of dive bars than classy uptown type places. But I had a great time here. We sat at the bar, talked to the waiters, ordered a few appetizers that came out very quickly. We had drinks and more drinks. We stayed till closing and met some new friends had some great conversations. It was a good night for me and my husband. Plus we loved the bartenders, always nice and ready to get drinks. We even witnessed a crazy session where the bar was slammed with order and they all go it done. We were greeted at the door when we first got there and were told they had reservations and that the wait was awhile. We said that was fine, we just wanted to sit at the bar and they did their very best to get us there as fast as possible. The food is pricey but what we tasted was yummy. I would just say if you want a nice dinner with great drinks expect to drop at least $ 100 here, on two people.
