Horrific service today. Waited 15 min for our order and watched them serve those who came after us BEFORE us. Managers unapologetic. Then sandwich came with bacon though I ordered without. Not coming back

Not good. The food is sub par, service is mediocre, and the cleanliness spotty at best. The storefront presents a sweet, comfortable space but you can get a much more enjoyable experience from Starbucks. I ordered a latte that not only was late, but had so much foam my large was more like a small.

Completely unimpressed. It’s not that often these days that you go into a place and receive no respect as a customer. Not when I walked up to the counter to place my order, not when I paid, and not when my food was brought to me did any employee greet me, welcome me, thank me, or said any kind of pleasantry to enjoy my food or day. Absolutely nothing. What the heck is that about? Food was not bad, okay, but because it was clear that this chain does not appreciate me as a customer they will not get my business again. There are a zillion other places that do appreciate customers and their business.

Was just reminded why I haven’t been to Corner Bakery in a while… Customer service SUCKS! Wife went in ordered, wrong sandwich was given. Drove all the way back to get correct item, was told no longer carry it. Okay, so asked for money back, Marshall said couldn’t do it without debit card used? Really just drove back to the place to and now over 5.00 bucks the hassle! Keep the five bucks because it just cost them a customer, great job! Left without my money or food…

This corner bakery is one of the few that gives the proper portions. It’s never too crowded and the staff is very nice

Second time dining at this Plano location. I ordered the Asian salad, extremely mediocre considering the premium price. Constantly bumped into by different staff members as I tried to enjoy my quick lunch. Salad took about 10 minutes to hit the table. Besides that, the staff was friendly and attentive. May or may not come back, better off to grab a salad at Whole Foods next door.

Return visit to this location after many years. We usually go to the one in Frisco, TX as it closer to where we are running errands. Either location is great lunch/​coffee place to meet friends and family. Nice surprise to find caffeine-​free diet Coca Cola in beverage. Hard to find it at the fountain stands in many places.

My experience was completely opposite from Nicci’s review. The cashier was rude, practically threw the plates on our table, had to ask for receipt, ask for forks, and the coffee ran out half cup as I was filling up the cup. Plus the place was grimy.

This particular Corner Bakery USED to be a favorite of mine and my family’s. Throughout 2013 and 2014, it was a spot we relied on that was always very clean, very inviting, and served delicious, beautifully-​presented food and wonderful coffee.
My visit there yesterday evening for a light dinner was a real shock. The place was filthy — — at least six or seven tables held no customers but had dirty dishes stacked on them. It was difficult to find a clean table at which to enjoy dinner. I finally sat at a booth against the wall, noticing that the booth seat next to me was broken; you could see a large gap all the way down to the floor underneath. There were no Saltines available to munch on before the food arrived. The whole restaurant was very much in the state of disarray.
When my food came, it looked as if it had been hastily thrown together and tossed on to the plate from across the room. My Panini was overcooked on one side, and the two pieces of bread were askew, which means the fillings hung out on both sides.
It’s always sad when a favorite diner comes under new management and immediately takes a turn for the worse. That seems to be what has happened at this Corner Bakery. I love CB, so I guess I’ll have to try out the one at Frankford and the tollway.

***This review is more for catering*** Corner bakery is good for food yet horrible for service. They need more delivery drivers and to take accountability when they are late. If you tell them what you need they tell you they can do the bare minimum and how they can’t guarantee anything. What’s the point of having a catering option if you won’t be on time and if you can’t guarantee the food will be hot. The other location already got rid of catering I wish you would too.

Love CB. Great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, dangerous desserts and a nice atmosphere for meeting friends or co-​workers. My only issue with this place was the lukewarm coffee. My friend and I both ordered decaf with our meals last week and found it only slightly warm, despite a 9am visit. The staff was great to nuke it for us while they made a fresh pot. It was disappointing, though, to find the fresh coffee didn’t hold up well in the carafe. It was lukewarm again when we went for refills.

I ordered food from here for a work event-​scrambled eggs with bacon, chicken sausage, bagels and croissants. The morning event started at 7:30 but people always arrive early, so I asked them to be there by 7 at the latest, 6:45 would be better. Well, the delivery didn’t come until 7:10 and he had to unload everything while I am still trying to check people in and finish setting up the room.
Once the food was set up, everyone enjoyed it, The eggs were cooked perfect and the bacon was crispy. The croissants were off the chain. So buttery and flaky i made sure I brought a few back to the office. I really wish the delivery would have been better time wise or else they would get 5 stars.

3 pm and planned to try Smoke across street but they don’t serve food from 3 – 5. So hopped over here and glad I did!
Management and staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The young man who came by with food even stopped back by to see if all was good. Wow, great customer srvc!
Tables clean even during non peak hours… a sign of staff caring. Been to too many places where everybody is on ‘break’ from 2 – 5 lol.
Salad looked and tasted fresh. Yum. Will be back. Had forgotten how good CB can be due to lousy experiences at location near me at Frankford/​Pear Ridge. They don’t hold a candle to to this great store!

I order a Anaheim Panini with breakfast potatoes. They’re out of potatoes, out my next choice: hot oatmeal. I ask for a white chocolate mocha and they’re out of white chocolate. I look at the soda machine and it’s broken to. This is embarrassing, they have serious issues keeping ingredients in stock to make the items on they’re menu.
Lastly, It should not take 16 minutes for a simple to go order.

Have not been here for along time. We had paninis which were grilled? Was the panini maker on the fritz? The quality was not very good and the place was pretty dirty. At least there are a lot of other choices in the area.

Good chai latte, unique. Different flavor then most cafes California panini was good.
Did take out this time but will return to try more and update review.

Really like Corner Bakery and the great selection they have. Great sandwiches and amazing desserts, especially the rugelach.
I used to always come here and study when I was in high school– nice relaxing place to get work done.
Every time I’ve been here though, the soup has been cold and it usually takes a long time to get your food ready which is kind of surprising for a fast casual deli place like this.
Never been here for breakfast, but I will try it some day.

The food is simply amazing and the customer service has always been top notch.
I have been dining here for years and have always had a positive experience. My children love to come here as well.

THE BREAKFAST CATERING. The Cinnamon Crumb Muffin (with its perfect blend of outer crispness and inner moistness). Enough said.
You can also never go wrong with most of their lunch selections (especially the paninis!), but beware of any salads that use savory dressings instead of vinaigrette. If you don’t like your salad leaves drenched and dripping with dressing, be sure to ask for it on the side. The normal dessert pastries are okay (but not particularly exceptional) and also dripping in oil.
So basically, the breakfast and the sandwiches are the way to go. Have I mentioned that I love their breakfast?
