Came here for lunch and they were out of tons of things. No desert pizza or brownies. No noodles and the Alfredo sauce was pure water. Not coming here anytime soon again. Not managed well.

The Plano location is great, there’s no more slushie machine though. The food is nice and greasy, but good for birthday parties if you’re a kid, and good for hanging out when you have a budget and you are craving a pizza buffet. I do have to say that the cinnamon rolls and the apple pie pizzas are amazing.

No buffet gets over 3 stars. Sorry Cici’s, you are not the exception.

I was so excited to come after hearing the advertisement for stuffed crust pizza and wanted to try it out. It wasn’t even on the pizza bar. It was an empty spot with label. On top of that, barely any pizza left on bar. Eventhough it is dinner time but the restaurant was barely half filled. Yet no pizza. Service was poor. If there’s more staffs working, I think the pizza bar wouldn’t be so scares. Furthermore, the pasta bar was all dried up and thick solid sticking to the sides of pans. No one bothered to check until asked for more sauce, then the girl behind the counter poored out old looking sauce like it’s been cooked too long. I like the price and the newly remodeled restaurant but very disappointed about everything else. I would love to recommend my friends but very hesitant at the same time. If the service improves and there are more pizza choices on bar, I would give higher stars and recommend to friends.

This location is lackluster but today was unacceptable. I called in to place a quick to-go order and was placed on hold for almost fifteen minutes! Finally the call dropped but which I called the manager who did not take any accountability. What a joke and a big fat fail in customer service.

I felt uncomfortable. I go to Cici’s on days when I’ve excused myself to pig out. What I don’t need are obstacles and side glances that make me feel insecure. What I do need is a cheering section chanting, «Go Brandi. Get busy! No you’re not full. Keep eating!» I asked for a tray when I walked in. The girl went to get me one but the other girl told me no. Girl B then whispered to girl A that, «The trays are only for …» I didn’t stand by to hear the rest. No tray meant I took five dramatic trips to the pizza bar for more food! I just want to pile all of my food on at once. Too much to ask?! I asked the guy behind the buffet for BBQ pizza. He told me they didn’t have it on the buffet and walked into the kitchen never to be seen again. I wanted BBQ pizza and chicken pizza! Later, I learned I was able to order what I wanted just like at other places. I had to stop a girl who was delivering pizza to another table to get that info though. I never got the chicken pizza. There were no napkins on the tables. More dramatic walks through the restaurant to get napkins. The garlic cheese bread is cut to half the size of the ones at other Cici’s. More dramatic trips to the pizza bar.(I LOVE that cheesy bread.) Nobody cleared my plates from the table. There I sat looking like five guests had emptied 5 plates and a personal pan of pizza when no one was there but me. When I left, nobody said, «Bye! Thanks for coming!» I was shocked. Isn’t that their thing? Pizza was fine but I didn’t get everything I wanted. New bacon cheeseburger flavor was okay. They now offer wings for 1.99. Service was such that I just couldn’t get comfortable pigging out. It felt like they had procedures in place to keep me from eating all I could eat at their all I can eat establishment. Ugh! From now on, I’ll stick to Cici’s restaurants I’m used to.

As a dad with a 4-year-old and 2-year-old this is somewhere I can take them and everyone’s happy!(don’t tell the wife).

Don’t get me wrong, I love Cici’s but this location is a joke! Don’t go here. Go to a different one. My boyfriend and I walked. There was no one in line. This is at 8:30 pm. And it took is 5 minutes for a cashier to notice us. Everything was out, the other employees were rude. They didn’t have napkins. The employees decided to stand in a circle to have a little pow wow. Also I tried getting ranch and it wasn’t working next thing you know, it all squirts on my clothes and the employee said«oh really»? Come on man. I guess we get what we pay for now here at Cici’s. I’m really disappointment. My boyfriend wanted to speak to the manager and ask for his money back. This is the last time I’ll go to this location. I wish I could give it a 0 stars.

I actually had an amazing experience here on a Wednesday night. The staffs are really nice and attentive. The two thin crust pizza came within 15 min and the salad bar was much better than I remember

One would think that this cicis in Plano would be great. Wrong. No plates no cash for change one napkin dispenser… Wow they are definitely worthy of being called the worst.

If you’re looking for cheap pizza, this is the place to be. Nothing can beat Cici’s. But the pizza isn’t the only thing about this place that’s cheap. Instead of plastic plates, plastic cups, and silverware, you get pizza pans with parchment paper, paper bowls and cups, and plastic utensils. Everything you use is disposable here. Last but not least, if you want to do the next guest a favor, make sure to bus yourself because if you let the Cici’s staff bus for you, the next guest might end up with a pan that came from the trash(they just dump all the trash from the tables into the trash bin and remove the pans later). I, however, will not have to worry about this because I will definitely not be coming back. Such a disappointment compared to the Cici’s that I’m used to.

Disappointing! Hardly any toppings, tasteless. Not typical of other CiCis unless they’re all cutting corners. Poor way to run a business. Won’t be back.

Gather ’round and I’ll tell you a story. Back in my day after walking to and from school uphill both ways barefoot in the 3 feet of snow that regularly falls every winter in DFW, I’d stop by at a restaurant called Cici’s Pizza. Cici’s was the best chain around. It was the best deal around and it had some of the best pizza around. It was a winning combination. But that all changed with the economic crisis. Cici’s evil corporate managers decided they would change Cici’s to low budget buffet in order to cut costs. Back in the day when I entered Cici’s, it’d be a fairly calm atmosphere. Families eating with their kids in relative peace. But now Cici’s is utter chaos. I enter and the manager and his team shout to welcome me, but that is drowned out by the wail of crying babies, screaming children, the ring ding dinging of the toy machines and the blaring televisions. Kids are are darting left and right like rats in a granary. You instinctively reach out to swat them away as you do with all pests and vermin, but then you realize they are children and you’d likely wind up in jail if you did that so you stop yourself and grit your teeth instead. Cici’s had two different types of salad greens available in the past, an iceberg lettuce on and one with Romaine and other mixed greens. But now it is down to just the iceberg lettuce, the filler of salad greens. Onions that were once cut into slivers are now diced and shriveled looking. Also gone are the mushrooms. What good is a salad without mushrooms? The answer is none of course. As far as the pizzas go, there would be a wide variety of pizzas at the Cici’s of 10 years ago. Supremes, cheese lovers, pepperonis, meat lovers, spinach, Hawaiian and so much more. Now when I go I can guarantee that roughly half of them are going to be some variation of pepperoni. They change the shape and size of the offerings to create the illusion of choice and pull the wool over your eyes(kind of like Democrats and Republicans), but I see what you did there Cici’s. Thin crust pepperoni in a pan shape, deep dish pepperoni, classic pepperoni, pepperoni jalapeño and another classic pepperoni. The other pizza options were equally miserable. Dough coated with cheese powder, cheese pizza(just one type of cheese) and a spinach. Even the desserts are awful now. The brownies taste extremely sour. If I was generous I might speculate that it has a high percentage of cocoa, but obviously that’s just a dream. The cinnamon rolls are far too salty. If you’re smart about it, Cici’s can be a pretty good deal if you keep asking them to make the pizzas you want like supreme or meat lovers and you bring hearing protection. The salad bar remains a lost cause. If forecast that if current trends continue, within 10 years, Cici’s will be known to most not as a pizza buffet chain, but as Cici’s Daycare Center, a chain of pay by the hour child care facilities that just so happens to serve complimentary pizza and cinnamon rolls. The manager and his team can shout, «Welcome to Cici’s» as many times as he wants but I sure as hell won’t be back.

It’s a cheap pizza buffet so I don’t think anyone expects great high quality pizza, but I can tell you what to order that actually is pretty good. First, you can and should special order pizzas(no extra charge to do it), then you can request extra cheese/sauce which the buffet items always lack. I always special order deep dish pizza which is rarely on the buffet. They came out with new thin crust pizzas and those are really good. The Alfredo pizza is also good, but I don’t really care for their regular crust.

One of the better maintained Cici Joints in Plano area. The people working the counters are courteous and Manager seems to go around the dining area to make sure all used plates are picked up and tables are cleaned regularly. Quality of Pizza is good. They don’t have much Vegetarian option in the buffet line-up but they are more than welcome to prepare some fresh for you. I love the Spinach Alfredo Pizza. my all time fav!

fast, cheap! Get in — hog — get out! Don’t analyze the crowd, don’t rate the ambiance — you know that is not why you went in there in the first place. They have a decent spread of pizza and salad and of course why be surprised if students throng… its meant for them. take your special date to someplace pricey… remember… know why you are going there… don’t get in and then try act like a high-baller! Happy Hogging!

They have an all you can eat pizza buffet, mainly for the kiddies. I only came here cause i was really, really, really hungry and yes, I pigged out. Guilty as charged. Be careful when you go it was overrun by a busload of kids.
