This restaurant officially closed in early January 2016, FYI. What a bummer, their food looked amazing on Unilocal

My husband and I came here on a whim instead of Jimmy John’s(in the same shopping strip) and were glad to have tried something new out! While I think they have room for improvement, Chiladas has no doubt lived up to their motto of using fresh ingredients. The chips, queso, and salsa were all really good and probably my favorite part of the meal. The staff here is fantastic! Super kind and helpful. The room for improvement would be to put a little less guac and a little more other ingredients, like maybe lettuce, on their shrimp tacos. Otherwise the shrimp itself was really good. Booth seating is great, once those are taken, seating feels a bit limited.

There is one word to describe this place: FRESH. From their pico to their chips, to their enchiladas, to their sweet tea– everything here is fresh and delicious. The perfect lunch place for good mexican. I’ve gotten the brisket and shrimp tacos– both are amazing. The shrimp has great flavor. I would highly recommend the brisket quesadillas– great flavor and texture. The queso here is great to start. Keep in mind the portion sizes are pretty small so you’ll want to order a few things if you’re hungry. Overall, a quick, fresh, simple lunch place with awesome service and atmosphere.

Love this little place. If you like ordering at the counter and getting food quickly then this is a great location. Lots of flavor in every meat, especially brisket or pork tacos. Guacamole is perfect taste and flavor. Priced perfectly. And eat as much as you order. A la carte on everything.

Came in thinking this was a restaurant, come to find out it is semi– fast food restaurant with very good brisket queso! Got the flank steak taco which the meat was ok, but the brisket taco was amazing! Definitely will return for lunch!

Terrible experience, food was SOSALTY, like someone just poured can of salt on the food, no flavor what so ever I thought it would be better than the franchise like Taco Bell but it was the WORST, wasted my time & $, definitely would not return there

Excellent! They advertise their fresh ingredients, and as I enjoyed my lunch there was no doubt that this is quality fare. I like the ala carte ordering, as one can build his plate according to palate and level of famishment. I enjoyed a carnitas taco, a brisket taco, side of black beans and side of rice. Each item was delicious and prices are quite reasonable, too. I was surprised that they were not real busy over lunch. Folks are truly missing out!

Friend and I came here for some food during our short lunch break. We were actually supposed to go to a brunch place down the street but since we were pressed for time and turned into the wrong complex,(and this place sounded a lot better than Jimmy John’s), we decided to try this place out. I really like the interior/exterior design of this place. Very modern– like a more bright, colorful Chipotle is what it reminded me of. At first glance, the taco descriptions were really weird to me. Pineapples and cheese– really random non-traditional additions. I’m used to those«street» tacos and have always(and still) preference them. But anyways, hesitantly, I ordered two tacos. One was the steak and the other was the al pastor. The al pastor comes with pineapple… and I LOVE pineapples… but inside a taco? Super skeptical but I ordered it anyways. I ended up really loving it !!! The steak, however, wasn’t very memorable. It was kinda weird because they add cheese on the steak tacos– something that I’m just not used to. So basically, not your traditional«street» greasy delicious tacos if that’s what you’re looking for. But if you’re looking for«gourmet» styled tacos with unique ingredients/additions, this place is pretty good. Def on my list to come back if I’m ever craving American-styled Mexican food.

Never have I had such a stark contrast in food temperature from a restaurant, from a fairly quickly delivered order. The huge bowl of brisket queso came out hot and gooey, with flavorful salsas on the side. It was quite the appetizer, and left me hopeful for my tacos. Yet, when my tacos and enchilada came out a few minutes later, I was taken aback. The corn tortilla was cold like it had been sitting on a pan of ice, the guacamole just as cold, but the shrimp was hot. Was it supposed to be that way? I don’t know. The sauce on my enchilada tasted off, and was room temperature, while again the tortilla was cold, but the chicken inside was hot. My boyfriend felt the same about his beef fajita, and said the cheese was near frozen. We came shortly after what would be a dinner rush, so perhaps they weren’t prepared. What a let down! Oh well.

When I say melt in your mouth!!! I mean… soft juicy chicken, melted cheeses, sour cream from heavens sour cream clouds! Good service! This place will have you dreaming of it for months! I know I did after eating here on vacation before moving. and I’m soooo happy to of found it again! *KupofKokoa*

@Chiladas is basically a Tex/Mex knock off of Chipotle. When their guacamole is fresh it’s great. Some of their staff don’t pay attention when they are busy chatting about what’s going on outside of work and make you wait at the counter. They recently changed their menu which I assume is to increase profits by making everything ala’ carte. Regarding their food… Was surprised that in the chicken quesadilla they use a lot of dark meat, actually more dark meat chicken than white meat in my particular order which was much to my dismay. Also disappointed that they don’t have a ground beef option for their enchiladas. I would recommend #TacoBueno over Chiladas any day. But if you want that Chipotle taste and feel go to #Chipotle instead. Have a burrito-ful day!

The food was good, However it is like eating at a cafeteria where you have to buy everything«A la carte». I had 2 enchiladas and an order of guacamole. They were delicious, but I’d rather eat my food from a plate instead of something that looks like the French fry container at In-N-Out Burger. Friendly service and clean restaurant.

It gets a five for what it is and the consistency of service after 35 visits. Food is great although I have never viewed it a place to get enchiladas. Chipotle brownies are spicy, rich and delicious but it takes me a few days to eat one. The brisket tacos are fantastic with crispy bacon bits. My favorite is still chicken. Guacamole is really good. Black beans are good. Service and management exceptional.

Usually eat here 3 times a week for lunch break since I work in the complex. Paul is the mgr on duty usually and is extremely friendly. Their tacos a la carte are excellent. I usually switch between chicken and brisket. The chicken & brisket nachos off the black board are good as well. Enchiladas are decent but I like cheese enchiladas with queso topping and it is not an option. Mondays are $ 2.00 margaritas all day and my coworkers and I normally stop by after work to get a few rounds in. unfortunately they have a hard time keeping tabs on drinks, last week got hectic– a few of us had to wait quite a while for round 1. And rounds 2&3 were forgotten. Once reminded they got them right out. If you want to call it quits after one drink, grab a top shelf– Paul sure does make them really good. Their verde salsa is amazing, not a huge fan of the red salsa & the tortilla soup is worth trying. Has a nice spice to it with plentiful ingredients. *Updated 10÷21÷15: Prices have gone up a bit which has caused me to not eat there as much for lunch lately. The Al Pastor taco is awesome with spiced pulled pork and pineapple slices, has a nice sweet & spicy kick. The new flank steak is decent. I enjoyed it the first two times I tried it– the 3rd time it was seasoned a bit too much. Tasted like a peppered beef jerky stick. A little peppery/salty and overwhelming. Paul’s back from Vacation so Im sure this will all clear up as far as seasoning goes. Dont order the chicken on a hard taco– too dry. Stick with the standard Flour or Corn soft tortilla.

We seriously eat take-out from here once a week! I love their tacos!!! The shrimp is my fave, but I will switch out a brisket taco every once in a while. My husband loves their enchiladas, too. On the rare occasion we actually eat there, I get a margarita, which perfectly complements my tacos. YUM!!!

Nice find. Clean place, friendly staff, great food. Tried it for late lunch and it hit the spot. Oh, and definitely try the chipotle brownies… Interestingly spicy.

Ok but I won’t be coming back. 3-enchilada plate, one chicken one cheese one pork. For $ 10 that I spent here, I would go down the street to Abuelo’s Mexican restaurant. Much better food for about the same price.

Pretty decent food, not my favorite but ok for a quick meal. The enchiladas were a little bland but the quesadillas were pretty good.

We finally tried out this place right by our apartment, and we were pleasantly surprised! I’m a huge fan of tacos(as in I have them at least 3 – 4 days a week), so I was really excited to finally check this place out. The brisket tacos were awesome and the guac was perfect. I saw someone below comment that the guac didn’t have lime– which is definitely not true. Ours had a lot of lime in it– which was great! We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for the awesome service and food!

I absolutely love tacos, so have had my eye on this place for quite some time. Finally was down in that area as was able to stop in for lunch. The concept is very open, feels like a cross between Chipotle and Fuzzy’s. Order at the counter, and take the number back to your seat and your food is delivered to your table. Lots of seating, both inside and out. Complimentary Chips and Salsa to nosh on while you wait for your food. Salsa was good, but nothing over the top. I ordered a shrimp taco and a fish taco and enjoyed the both but I liked the shrimp best. The shrimp had a ton of flavor and was just perfect. The husband had two fish tacos and loved them. Each Taco was appropriately filled with fresh ingredients. We also shared chicken nachos — delightful. We ordered a small portion and it included probably 8 chips; each loaded with nacho goodness. More than enough for two people. The only disappointment was the guac– not a lot of flavor. I also enjoyed the house margarita on the rocks with my meal. Overall a great place to grab quick meal and leave feeling satisfied and full. We’ll for sure return!
