Charming Charlie – Plano

It is like any other Charming Charlies… They DO NOT HAVE A RESTROOM, they send their customers over the Panera. Seriously you do not have a restroom? That is enough for me to never go back.

This place has soo many beautiful things! Accessories, clutches, jewelry, etc! In every color or style you would like. They don’t sell any shorts/​pants/​skirts — they stick with only dresses and tops and they are only S/​M/​L and nothing else. I wish some of the tops were a little smaller or more form fitting but I do love the jewelry and clutches and some clothes from there. Super cute stuff and it’s all divided by color!

Almost overwhelmed cuz there is so much to look at. But good price to get what’s instyle.

My sister loves this store and I was here to buy her a gift. Not really my style. The organize by colors which I find a little overwhelming visually. That said that had tons of merchandise, and lots of Jewelry. I did not find the staff to be helpful and in fact when I checked out they were a bit rude. Then I had to return on 2 occasions from the door because they did not take all the sensors off.

I purchased a purse hanger and it only lasted 2 days… THEN it broke. My friend purchased a really cool watch for me as a bday gift… it fell apart after only 2 days
it’s a cute store but the products dont seem very well made.

I have been to this location a couple of times, and neither time did I have enough shopping time to make it through the whole store. We were greeted by a friendly sales person who directed us to the area we needed. I even had to return an item the next day (didn’t need it) and had no problems with the return. So glad they have this store open, now not all of the items fit my age range (40+) but they do have some that I can work with. Also glad that they will be opening one in Firewheel Mall in Garland.

Bought a great cameo ring that turned my finger green then broke 2 weeks later.

I am totally in love with this store. So many choices, the price is reasonable. It can get overwhelming your first time there, but the staff is very helpful. Defi recommended :)

The staff is friendly, the acccessories are cute, and everything is in color coded order. The prices for the accessories (i.e. earrings, bracelets, purses) are great; but for the clothing they are pricier than the worth. Hence the 3 stars.

Honestly the store is a bit overwhelming at first. It’s a large store broken up into color-​coded sections. If you have a lot of time to dig through everything, you can definitely find some cute accessories. I’ve never purchased any clothing here, it seems like their sizes run a little strange. I’m normally a small and everything I’ve tried has been either huge or way too tight. But it’s definitely worth checking out for cute inexpensive accessories.

Ah Charming Charlies… one of my guilty pleasures. This really is the mecca of accessory finds next to Sam Moon. Great place to check out if you are looking for some cute girlie gifts. They have shoes, purses, sunglasses, clothing, jewelry, everything! It’s a one stop shop!

I took my girl friend to the store last weekend. I love this place! I had hoped to keep it my little secret from my gal pals but another one mentioned it. Long story short she went back the next day by herself & went nuts.
The store is great, the only drawback is that there’s so much stuff to look at it’s so hard to choose & that really isn’t a drawback. On the plus side, if you’re looking for a specific color everything is color coded so you don’t have to dig through the whole store to find that one color you want.
Ladies just remember 1. Leave the boyfriend or husband at home 2. Carve out a couple of hours to browse
If I could give it a 4 ½ stars I would. Not a perfect 5 b/​c the place makes me a bit crazy-​nuts when I walk in… Where to start & what to choose? Sensory overload!

This place has some pretty cute stuff if you are willing to wade through the labyrinth of color coded sections.
They are also very well staffed, meaning there will be somebody offering to help you around every corner. Every corner. There is almost always a greeter at the front door waiting to usher you in and let you know she is happy to be alive. Such perkiness should not be rewarded.
Anywho, I got some cute summer flip flops for under $ 15 and that pleases me. They also have clothes, purses, belts, novelty gift items and every kind of costume jewelry you can ever need. Going to prom and need some pink sparkly flower earrings? Those will be waiting for you up front. Feeling feisty and need a hat that says ‘hot mom’ in rhinestones? Yep, they have that too. If you buy that you will be a total douche, but whatever.
The items here are affordable, not Sam Moon cheap, but the quality seems to be a bit better, and chances are good that you won’t have to wrestle the handbag you want out of the hands of a crazed tourist, so that is a bonus.
So if you ever find yourself in Plano and have a bracelet emergency, Charming Charlie’s has you covered.

The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. I love that the store is color coded– it makes it so much easier to look for an item that you need. They do have some clothes as well but I don’t particularly like them. I go for the jewelry and purses.

When my mom stated that she really wanted to take me to this store on my Thanksgiving break, I was slightly suspicious. I love my mom tons, but our tastes (particularly in the fashion department) differ slightly. She loves (faux) fur lined coats, beaded cardigans, and an occasional sequin… all fine things… they just aren’t me.
Anyways, we walk into Charming Charlie and were immediately greeted by a very sunny sales lady, still a skeptic however I took a look around, and, before I knew it, I was yanking things off shelves and grabbin’ a basket :) This place is soooo cute!!! I love the fact that they organize the store into colors and style. Need some red earrings? Oh I will just go to the red/​orange section. Oh they are only $ 7 bucks? Sold… and, that is not all. They have $ 20 cashmere scarves (J.Crew will charge you $ 50 for that). They carry funky purses, cute clothes, sweet little ballet flats, and scented candles. Oh and to top it off, in the need for some fashion tape or earring backings??? Well, they have that, too.
Fantastic place to find a gift for your mother, sister, friend, or yourself that won’t break bank!!!

Ok. So does Dallas really need another Sam-​Moonish type store? Not really, but …
This place is far from Sam Moon in terms of quality of products and customer service.
After several friends have told me to check it out, I went over the holidays when I was in town. I put it off because I really am not into cheap jewelry anymore and prefer vintage items.
Boy was I surprised! This place is huge (like Sam Moon) BUT it’s split up into little rooms and very boutique-​ish — hats, scarves, shoes, clothes, jewelry and handbags … GALORE!
You will pay about $ 15-​$ 25 for a cute bracelet and around $ 30 for a cute (leather OR synthetic) handbag. The clothes are VERY cute — around $ 25-​$ 30/​piece. I didn’t go there because I’m pregnant, but I’m stocking the idea in my head for post-​baby because this place is full of adorable little dresses!
Each room is color coded, making it so easy to maneuver! The people who work here are very friendly and helpful, unlike the folks over off Harry Hines. ;)
Check it out! A little hard to find — doesn’t face the street. It’s right by Williams Sonoma.
